Thank you for this video. I have a few questions for you. 1. Do you how I can change the profile picture for my business? 2. I noticed some business profiles state they have been in business for 5+ or 10+ years. If I add the opening date for my company would that apply the 5+ years (or so) to my profile? 3. Some profiles appear to have a tiny blue check mark at the bottom followed by keywords that are highlighted in bold. (✅ Provides: Design and Construction). How is this achieved? Thank you in advance
Hi there, Great questions! 1. So, Google calls this the cover photo. Here is a video that shows you how to access and change that photo. Just let me know if this helps or not. ua-cam.com/video/iB74sive0_o/v-deo.html 2. Yes, exactly! ua-cam.com/video/83WVAExrekA/v-deo.html 3. Can you provide me an example for this one? If you just copy and paste a link to a Google Business profile with this feature in the comments, I can take a look and tell you what to do. Thanks and have a great weekend!
can you add negative keywords on your business profile to help prevent google from pulling your business up when customers are searching for someone else?
You know, this is a great question, and it would seem like you could, similar to how you can with Google Ads. But, as far as I am aware, there is no way to do this with GBP.
You're most welcome and thanks for tuning in! I want to make sure I give you the right advise, can you tell me a little bit more about the seasonal changes in your business?
@@KeeganEdwards when the professional exterior cleaning business in Georgia it doesn't get too cold in the winter but I've heard that when the fall comes you need to change it to gutter cleaning when summer is here is pressure washing I was just concerned want to mess up my Google
Oh, I see; that's a great question. So, I wouldn't suggest changing your GBP categories like that. Whatever category drives the most revenue for your business, have that be your Primary category. Then, list the other services in order of the percentage of your business they make up. To help you rank for those secondary categories, try getting many reviews that mention you offer that service in the comments and do an excellent job with dedicated pages for each of your services on your website. If you switch around your categories every season, it will confuse Google and hurt more than it helps. Google doesn't react to ranking changes that quickly when you change a category. You are better off listing your categories in order of how much of your business each accounts for.
It won't let me add a service to category. Is there a way to override that? I am a mobile notary and offer Apostille Services. It will not let me add Apostille Category, Just Notary. Any tips?
Great question! I don't think Google has Apostille as a category option. I recommend you just get a few reviews that mention they used you for Apostille services. That should do the trick in helping associate your profile with the service and thus help you rank for it. just make sure the reviews mention that specifically
I thought you could just add your own keywords to help google searches find you better. not adding categories that is limited to one , or a few more as far as what your services are but more on the side of connecting to searches
Thanks for the reply! If you follow the steps from the video it will help build in the keywords that will get you found for more near me Google searches!
I discovered you have done over 400 videos and you're not yet close to a thousand subscriber yet, why is this? am sure you are not yet monetized, is it a deliberate act by you or why? am just curious to know
Hey my friend, Lol true and it’s certainly just as confusing for me. No, the channel is not monetized yet. And yes, I am still well short of the goal of 1,000 subscribers. I don’t quite know why this is the case. But I do hear from a lot of people in the comments that my videos have been very helpful to them. Hopefully, one day I’ll reach that goal and it will help me support my channel and making these videos. Until then, I am just happy to spend my time making videos that I know are helpful to the people and small business owners that discover them. If you like my videos, I appreciate anyone who subscribes or likes them. Any tips for me?
Hi my friend! Love this question! I will work on a video series with proven tips, tools, and strategies for getting more Google reviews from your clients. I'll share the link once I have the videos created and published. Thanks so much, and I'll be in touch soon! Best, Keegan
Nobody cares how google understands or interprets a persons business based off of keywords😂. You dont need all that information. The customers are the ones that matter. And no matter how much make up you put on, its going to be the face to face personal interaction, and genuine character, people are going to be left with.

Near me keywords are for Google not business owner. Google pulls out nearby results based on proximity optimization on website and gmb.
