- You can add multiple listings to your Google my business profile by adding another listing in the settings tab. You need to be careful that you create this duplicate listing correctly so that you don’t get suspended. Lots of companies are creating multiple Google my business profile, listings incorrectly and getting suspended. There are a couple of rules that Google wants you to follow when creating multiple listings.
When you are in the interface of your Google, my business profile, you can click on the three dots and it will say add new listings. This is where you can add multiple listings to your existing Google my business profile. You need to make sure to keep the name of the business exactly the same of what your previous listing is. It’s also very important that you have the main category the same as your existing listing.
It is very possible to create a Google my business profile with multiple locations. But like I said before, just be sure to follow my instructions so that you don’t get suspended for doing it incorrect.

This doesn't work. Seems like Google have stopped you from having more than one location for the same business name currently. Hope this changes asap.

Unfortunately it does not help if your Client just has several small Locations to work from to be near a Customer ... at the Moment you just can't collect all Ratings in one Placed / under the Main-Profile which would be the Goal ... I was hoping that I could link them together. We're opening a 2nd studio location in another city. I followed your directions and it looks like it set up a completely new profile where I'll need to get new reviews, add new photos etc., Is there no way to link them together?
This is understandable from Google's point of view because different locations will usually have different staff, so the quality of service could be different.
Annoying for us, sure, but if you think about a chain of shops or restaurants, you could have a bad experience in one of them from being poorly managed.

The reviews do not transfer! So Im wondering if it might be better to leave my 75 reviews with my old location, give that business to contractors. Then rebrand and start a new page for my new location. I've wanted to change my name and add a beach vibe to my marketing since I'm now located on the coast (photography business). Thoughts?

what if creating a new one , i am moving mine from one place and put it under another location that already has a business registered. for instance i have a barbershop in one state , then i rent a suite under a place that has many suites.

Thank you so much for this great video! I am not clear on the creation of a sub page for the website that is linked to the google listing? Why is it necessary to create a sub page as opposed to linking the second address to the Home or About page? Or even the Services page?
The sub page will be targeted specifically for the second city that your business will be operating in. So if you link back to the sub page that's the way to go about it. For SEO, relevance and ranking factors this will be ideal. I have a business in Portsmouth so my home page is targeted for that local city but my new city is Southampton so I created a page optimised for the Southampton keywords and linked to that sub page.

Basically you’ll have to buy an address for each address , have and have separate landing pages, emails and phone numbers correct? It’s almost like you’re doing it for the first time each time

After entering in the new address the next question is "Is this your business?" and then shows the name and address of your other listing. Should we be choosing that? or saying this doesn't match and continue on with your recommendation? Also, is this just the preferred method to get better search engine recognition compared to using the 'business group' method to add multiple locations? Thanks!
I think this is the reason people are saying it doesn’t work. He didn’t even address this AT ALL! I’m stuck here too. I’m not sure what to click and by the other people. It’s seems like if you choose a certain answer. It just redirects you to your original business page. I hope he answers soon.

Following. I have same question. I have a few businesses under same email address that i setup years ago not thinking about this. A few days ago google suspended my listings for suspicious activity. There is no suspicious activity going on so i dont know but im still suspended.

Thank you for this. I have a very unique challenge myself. I actually need to add locations that are donation bins. These bins don’t have physical addresses. They are located in Malls and parking lots. So they resemble an Outdoor Kiosk in a sense. I actually attempted to use a Geo-point as the address and one time Google accepted it. The next time they denied wanting a physical address. Have you had any experience in this type of challenge. Wanting to drive people to donation Bin locations that don’t have addresses.
Google sends out a letter with a PIN number, so it doesn't seem like it would work.

Once I add the profile with a separate address, google brings up the original business listing (old address) and asks if this is my business or if this doesn't match. Do I choose This doesn't match?
You can put create new on that bit.. don’t click the saved pop up.

I’m currently adding 2 different locations in other cities near me for my service business I run. Should I have different websites for each GMB profile? Or can I use the same website for both? Wasn’t sure if it was better to have separate websites for SEO purposes and ranking them specifically for each town

Mention your service and location name in the URL of that page, and then add that location page's URL address to that location's GMB profile website address. How to change in line Located in: Remove the previous Trade Center and link the Company to the new Trade Center. The address of the Company has changed both in the Address line and on the Map, and in the line Located in: (the previous Trade Center remained as before)

Great Help, This could work like for a small franchise with different locations, right? and all the reviews would go to the main Brand.

I have/had 4 locations under same email and address for years. the other day google suspended all of them for suspicious activity and they dont tell you how to fix it. I wish there was a phone number for support bc all you get back is a template email from them.
I've heard simply sending them your LLC showing your a legitimate business fixes this issue. Good luck. P.S always use new address with every new listing. A home address is ok when you have one location. But when you open another location you should use a business address. Also change your home address to a business address before you set up your second location. If not you'll definitely have trouble

It doesn't allow me to add a location. Instead, it prompts me that I already manage this business.
How can I contact you. I've been trying to deal with this for 10 years and never could get it. We have one office location but we service 10 different counties and haven't been able to set this up where when they're looking for our kind of services in each County our name doesn't come up. If you will add the exact same name, google will see it as a duplicate. You need to slightly change the name like for exemple, add to your full name the location.
