I'm subscribed to too many channels now, so I don't see you pop up as often. But whenever I do, I'm reminded how great you are. Firstly, the production value is always fun to see. But secondly and more importantly, you always make the lesson so clear that even a dummy like me can finally understand. Great stuff, thank you, Wes.
Thanks. This was exactly what I was looking for. If I work mostly in the city but have a studio for clients in the suburbs, should I list the virtual office as my register address and the studio as a second location? Will that help me with searches in both locations?
damn you have a great channel you're going to get to a million so fast.....great content my man, great look, this is one of my new favorite channels!!!
Thank you for generously sharing the valuable tips in this incredibly insightful video. Looking forward to putting into practice the optimization tip you've provided in order to boost my search ranking.
I have a beauty salon client who lives outside the map border of their local town. They really wanted to rank in the maps for their services but I told them it’s not really possible due to their actual location, they are a brick and mortar business. But I got them the next best thing and that’s to rank in top 3 for all 5 of their services keywords 💪😂😂😂
@@joshuakrilov4042 hi, I made sure that their onpage seo was correct first off. I am still amazed at how many website owners do not get right. When that was cleaned up i then created 3 supporting pages/posts that were just purely info posts that were related to their service pages. These pages do not compete for the same terms as the service pages they are more of an info style post. I then inter link those pages to each other, so page 1 goes to page 2, page 2 links to page 1 and 3 and page 3 links to page 2. Then i sent one link from each of those pages to the related service page. This is called a reverse silo and it works like gangbusters !!
would you need to create multiple gmbs for each virtual office? how do you pass the verification video test if its a virtual office mail box? great video btw 👍
Wes, great video, thank you. We have updated all the other factors for our clients, including building local city pages for each city they want to rank in...some help. Adding 3-5 pieces of new content a week, on Google Business profile, mentioning those cities, have you seen this have any impact on their search factors?
Hey Jeff, Google profile posts aren't nearly the ranking factor they used to be, I wouldn't spend too much time on them , other than actual offers and events you want to share. Cheers!
@@WesMcDowellInc we are posting 3-5 times a week trying to get ranking improved. Should we reduce or just post different pieces, like you suggest (offers)
hi! Quick Question! If I have a shower shop in a town in Spain but I send all over the country, which type should I set my business as? Online, Local or Service?
I have a bookkeeping client and she wants to work with everyone in USA. But I’m focusing more in her area which is Brooklyn. Need to make her #1 there first. Will def apply your tips 🎉🎉
Google really needs to fix this for services that go to the client. That being said, is it possible to have several virtual offices in different cities you would like to rank in, or would google frown on that?
Thanks for the great video! I have a mobile bar cocktail business in Ibiza called Southside Bars, that I am trying to build in the UK now as well. It's a service business, so I don't have a location in the UK although I am based in the South East. Please could you tell me whether i need to create a new google business page for this, or can I include the south east of the UK in my service areas from the business account i have in Ibiza? I don't want to lose my reviews by starting a new account in the UK, but I don't want to lower my rankings by spreading the company too wide. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Would anyone have any advice? I live in New Jersey which is great but our towns are super small- I can easily walk to 5+ from my house. I'm a photographer who works in the top half of New Jersey. I rank well for my physical town, but no where beyond that.
Hello, amazing video, thanks a lot, My question is, what about an event company with no physical office (work from home), But I regularly make an event every 2 months in the same venue (hired). Everyone knows where is my event and of course, the location of the event should be where the venue is. How can I register my business there if I have no staff there always?, only when the event is happening. How can I rank it? Thanks for your content.
In your case, you'd probably be better off focusing on organic SEO, rather than map-pack SEO. You'd ever only rank close to the one address you put in.
@@WesMcDowellInc I saw this similar thing happen for a credit repair company we have, that offers services nationwide. We ranked them all locally in the 3 packs, and have focused on content SEO…any suggestions?
What if the results show businesses that are over 20 miles from the city you're in? I work at a dispensary, and can't seem to get us to rank with certain searches using the "near me" feature. It keeps listing other businesses that are significantly farther away, and ignoring the ones in my town
@@WesMcDowellInc are the each going to have separate profiles and reviews or it is possible to have a single listen with two address that shares reviews
Would i have to create a second business profile with the new address or would there be a way to keep my "real" address and add the virtual one?? I have a service biz (photographer) and would like to preserve the reviews from my current profile.
I have a client that gets 3-400 calls through GBP page. I was wondering if it is legal to use the numbers that can be identified as mobile to do SMS text marketing to. Can you give me any insight to this idea whether it is something which should be pursued? Thanks!

What approaches to take to rank in neighboring suburbs in GMB?
@WesMcDowellinc Can this be applied to spanish speaking countries as well? Have paid training on this specific topic?

What do you recommend for realtors? That have a physical location?
Honestly, I recommend UA-cam! Look into Karin Carr's program.
Where do you get your video stock. I love it lol.
Thanks! The stock video's from storyblocks, but the animations are custom. Not sure if you meant those or not. Cheers!
How do you get to the top of Google if you don't have a fixed location? Like working with clients around the world, being a digital nomad...
It's very simple, you create a listing for your office location and then verify it. Then you can offer your service

Does it help or hurt to have more than one location as a service business if the others are virtual offices and only one is the main?
It doesn't really matter, each will rank on its own merits in its own location.
