If I wasn't in South Carolina I would take my dad to see this. He was in the Navy and fought in Vietnam. He was on destroyer's but still he would love this.
I served in the Navy 14 years and was never stationed on a submarine. Now females can get assigned to them. They look cool but I’ve met other veteran sailors that have PTSD from being stationed on them. They’re not to keen on daylight and work night shift jobs because of it. You’re not seeing daylight for a few days possible weeks when you’re out to sea. Great video!
This is awesome. I'm from Massachusetts and up here we have Battleship Cove. It's worlds biggest collection of WWII Naval Vessels. It's just like this, self guided tour through all the Battleships and submarines. If I ever go to Baltimore I definitely want to check this out.
If I was ever to visit Baltimore, I will be sure to visit the USS Torsk. My father served on her sister ship (USS Argonaut) when she was sold to the Canadian navy and renamed HMCS Rainbow in 1968. I went on day trip on her in 1973 the navy call it a family day.
Definitely a US diesel electric sub. I was on a UK version starting in 1963 at 19yrs, we were all volunteers, not drafted. Loved every minute, different layout, more cramped for space, not unlike Das Boot lifestyle. Today's boats no comparison in layout or discipline.
No talking, no flashy graphics. We are allowed to use our imaginations to feel the claustrophobic horror it must have been like to be on this ship during WW2.
There is soooooo much going on in here. Future submarines gonna look like the inside of a yacht sooon. With all the buttons up-front like a space ship. Lol
This is amazing! such brave men to live, work and fight inside this incredible machine. I would not last 5 minutes.

Wow!
Charleston, SC Patriot’s Point has a Submarine display near the aircraft carrier Yorktown

*saluting*
Imagine building one of these , so many parts and pieces..from building clay huts to this amazing piece of machinery..I'm amazed
showing how superior we are compared to other species
The technology in the submarine is utterly primitive by today’s standards.

If my grandpa was still alive he would love this
This was awesome thank you.
I'm watching 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea right now this makes it more immersive.
Thank you for the video!
I found that very interesting....thank you!

Very similar to my first boat, the USS Runner SS476 Both two battery Portsmouth boats. Lots of memories there.
A Navy Submarine Baltimore place is beautiful
this is super mega ultra cool
Vidio reale dhe mbajtura në gjendje të mirë nëndetësja i njomë mirë ato ambiente kamë jetuar rrethe 1vite në ato ambjente❤
To see an even more amazing submarine visit the Nautilis in Connecticut.
I’m WAY too claustrophobic for this mess.
Amazing tour
Watching this video makes me think of the movie Down Periscope.
No periscope.?
Longer than I thought (but not wider). Hats off to those who serve in subs; I sure couldn't do it.
I feel like too many people have hurt themselves through this tour to many times lol.
3:16 Why do only old submarines have doors like this? These new submarines have round hatches.

As a Navy reservist i was assigned to the USS McKee, a submarine tender.
By US law i was prohibited from boarding the Navy's submarines
It's sad (but understandable) we don't get to see the inside of modern subs. Would love to see one.
It's amazing.
And I went in the full walk-through inside the ship right next to the submarine in the 2010s.
my Grandpa Ernie A Jankowski was in that submarine in the Sovent Union He was in the Navy that time He died in April 16 2016
yooo I went in this same one in baltimore
Submarines made today are huge, almost as large as the Seaview.
wouldn't a real sub have things for sailors to hold onto so they can brace for impact and not get flung around?
Sailed on USA GUPPY Type submarine in 1967 trainee engineer.
Master Chief would not be happy at the sad state of those floor tiles.
Im Vergleich zu einem deutschen VIIc oder auch dem größeren Typ XXI U-Boot sind das hier recht komfortable Verhältnisse...
Just the panelling and no torpedos in the enlisted racks? Luxury compared to some in the 70s/
I spent 25 years in the USN but I could never have done sub duty
I didn’t see any PlayStation handles in the control room. Weird.
It’s not yellow!
6:10, where tushies drop those brown stinky torpedoes in the toilet. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zootopia in Shanghai Disneyland is about to be completed. And Universal studios in Beijing. Welcome you to play😆
Huge compared with an Oberon
The first instructions were ignored. Turn a face all ladders.
I have bad OCD and the rust would drive me crazy if I were the captain the crew would have thrown me overboard.
All types of medical and psychological examinations are given to the potential crewmember prior to being accepted to this all voluntary service
This is not as spacious as Submarine Seaview.
lol turn and face all ladders on the speaker and ignores it
This is scary
You look like you could use college and university Assistatants.
Not nautilus.
i live in this city
The Sea view awesome! 💦💦
claustrphobics need not apply!
An it’s haunted too.
We can see you apparently don’t listen to instructions
