I start next week next week for esthetician license. I am an RN (a little older too lol 50 :( ) but its a second career. The pandemic just ruined the industry....anyway i have been watching your videos. my mind was made up to slowly leave nursing, but you have truly inspired me and I want to thank you. I know now i will be okay you and of course God got me for sure. It is scary leaving nursing after 30+ years. but this profession will still allow me to take care of people which is my true calling. May God continue to bless you and thank you again, I will continue to watch your videos.
Hi ladies so glad you all are not boxing yourself in and going after more things to add to your professions!! I definitely believe that no matter what age or predicament you are in KEEP GOING. Yes unfortunately the pandemic has adjusted alot of things for us all but one thing it has taught me was not to settle in on one thing. We have to prepare ourself for whatever now while we can so i wish you all well on your new Esthetician journeys and i love that you enjoy my content💕🎉
Dont give up nursing. As an RN you can definitely qualify to take botox courses, as well as PRP treatments because it’s within your scope of practice. They also offer classes for facials and other things that as an RN you can do them. 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Hi, I just want to add that there are Esthetician schools that provide more than just preparation for the state exam. I found one that teaches almost everything, ie. laser, micro-needling, microdermabrasion, facials, lashes, make application, and skin analysis. Do your research and don’t settle for anything less. Make you ask a lot of questions to make sure they are not just selling you a dream. There are good schools, that will provide the skills and knowledge to be great in the Esthetics field.
Girlllllll thats a blessing because thats so rare 😩 take full advantage of those resources you’re getting at school now. & Congratulations on your journey 🎉
My course gives me waxing, makeup, gel nails, mani and pedi, eye lash extensions, massage, facial and bodycare. Plus helping with a logo and business/ expenses education.
I really just want to thank you so much for these videos. It helps so much. My state requires 1000 hours and I am currently at 550! Going solo is my goal post graduation and your advice/suggestions help so much! Thank You!!!!

So much info and it can be overwhelming. My social platform I will focus on that. I def wanna go solo.. it’s a dual program esthetician/massage therapist.. In the esti program I loved facials, It was my trademark and my clientele loved me and even bought products. Facials, waxing and massage therapy

Thanks for the great tips ! I’m enrolling for esthetician school in April and I’m so excited ! I know in your video you mentioned the benefits of reading esthetician books and listening to podcast but my question is do you have any specific recommendations as far as pod cast or literature that you personally listen to/ read ?

Wow!! I’m so happy I stumbled across your video. Thank you so much for this! I’m currently in esthetician school & I don’t feel like my school/ teacher are giving what they’re supposed to give!! This video was inspirational & overall very informative. Please continue making videos like this! I don’t know of any Esthi mentors near me but we deff need more like you! Also may I make a suggestion for “start up” videos for the beginner solo esthi. Must haves? Device/ product/ supply recommendations? Thank youuuu!!!!!

I loveeee those suggestions so i will do my best to make some of them stay tuned🤎 as far as school goes yes unfortunately its pretty basic so i would encourage you to take online and in person esty courses to master the skill to perform certain services. Goodluck🎉
So I’m waiting for my tour of the school before I officially sign up for the esthetician program. I need to know do others feel this way and when I say tht I mean like (knowing if this career fits)I know I want this license this background but I’m worried once Im learning and getting hands on training that I won’t like…
This is totally normal to feel, so don’t worry!!! Just tour a couple schools to really see what may fit you best. Find what service interests you the most and master that then you will loveeee the field at that point💞
