I have a 2004 that the front end is sitting low and it bottoms out on small bumps . Do you think this is a weak spring issue and will replacement of the strut with spring will, cure this .

Only thing it could be I changed a set today only need to remove the tie rod to remove the strut super easy. . I will tell you that the customer bought Amazon struts and they weighed about half of what the factory ones did

So if the shocks don’t line up with the slot in the lower control arm we can just force it in with a pry bar and it will straighten out?

Besides the shocks leaking, is there another way to derermine when to replace front shocks on a titan? And what do you recommend for fronts?

So age and mileage can certainly be used to determine when to replace. Monroe is a great brand that we have used for over 20 years and some of the product is still made in the USA. Monroe recommends to replace every 60k miles. If you install the loaded struts, then you will usually notice a major improvement in handling and braking after installed as the springs wear out just like the shock/strut.

I’m super confident I can do this to some extent. Dan that 3/4” socket looks like a 10 gauge shotgun shell
