No one could convince me to open up and really work on my voice, until I met Amy. She creates a very inviting and encouraging environment. Working on a "downfall" is such a venerable time but with Amy, I was always eager to receive feedback from her. " Bo Roberts Model, Actor

If we can't do these exercises when no one is watching, why would we be able to perform when everyone is watching. These exercises are one more way to get out of our self-consciousness. Excellent!

Sayed Waly I've never met a professional voice coach who doesn't make you do these kinds of exercises, I've been through singing, public speaking, language and theatre classes and these exercises are very similar. Only people who are very serious about their craft would do this.

I was once in a group, and was told to do similar exercises. On one hand, I can see how it can help your voice and facial muscles. On the other hand, it might be best to do it in private, because anyone seeing it will likely think, "what the hell is that crazy person doing". :P
Another thing, I myself often have tension headaches, so thanks for pointing out the thing about the jaw. I'll try that and see if it helps. :)

Thanks
