What a mysterious brooding band. But superb muses too, not just fluff. Owned rnb unlike Beatles who chronicled life in post war Britain. We love you Brian still and all the more. Your memorial was incredibly touching and this song sums it all up
Another Stones song that cried for me.A girl I loved was dead. I couldn't cry boys from Merseyside didn't not back in 1966, no matter what. The Stones helped save me from complete insanity. God help me I was 18
An old old Solomon Burke song..... but... Mike and the boys infuse it with a bit more sadness and pathos......just as good, maybe even better than the original!
pjero marinov hey pjero! Have to agree, that base just nails it completely! I am a big Rolling Stones fan (though before my time as I’m only. 44!) but didn’t know they covered this. Only played it twice so far so still preferring the beautifully soulful version of Solomon Burke (you know what it’s like when you’ve only ever heard one version of a song that you love before ) but this is growing on me very fast as a different take on it!
Man, I love the Stones. A LOT! But really, when you have heard Betty Harris do this song, there is just no comparison. Still, good picture show. And long live the Stones!
They were so young but understood the song to the full. They didn't copy. They made it their own. And that is what you want to hear.
Solomon Burke is the king of this song. No one can beat his soulful voice filled with emotion.
TRUTH
My favorite track on Out of our Heads. I'm shopping around for unknown 60's and 70's music but the Stones win every time. Simply the Best, OK guys !!
And fifty years later they're still absolutely brilliant. This version of Cry To Me is wonderful!
Have you hear this version, by The Staccatos from South Africa, their BIG HIT of 1968 - ua-cam.com/video/l0IufbMtzOc/v-deo.html
@@mvcollerjhb Excellent R&B song. Jagger is awesome.
@@mvcollerjhb ill check it out
by now it's 60 years - still brilliant
What a mysterious brooding band. But superb muses too, not just fluff. Owned rnb unlike Beatles who chronicled life in post war Britain. We love you Brian still and all the more. Your memorial was incredibly touching and this song sums it all up
I love the Stone's version of Cry to Me!!!
The Stones do a great job on this R&B classic.
Azok a gyönyörű szép idők melyeket felidéznek az ilyen fenomenális zenék és egy ilyen zenekar előadásában szuper, további szép napot mindenkinek.
Thee boys were at the top of their game here. Love Wyman & Watts working the groove.
I love their early recordings. Their ballads and Blues recordings most especially.

Brian Jones un gran músico y quien formo la banda de los Rolling Stones y además el fue quien le puso este nombre. Un gran talento.
Además es el multiinstrumentista de todo el Rock.

Next to the BEATLES they are.
Greatest group ever !!!!
Reminds me of the 60's and Brian and his Vox, along with all the other instruments he plaid on some of their greatest hits.
Amazing they are now in their 80s, Brian and Charlie are already resting in eternity!
Brilliant takes me back Jackie
The best version of this great song. you can really hear the guitar weep
Tks Brian Jones
The Pretty Things version from the same year is better.
