@@hitsunataraki2587 I suggest you read the comment again .... Stop white knighting, the dude played Genshin. Whilst Genshin's a good game, it fails at even listening to it's community. I’m a full time college student with a full time job if I could play both I would but I just can’t and tbh I’m not really having much fun in Genshin anymore anyway. So I will be quitting Genshin to play WuWa too 🤩
tbh one of the major things Hoyo would "need" to do to fix Genshin is doing what wuwa did for CBT2: rewrite 90% of the story which is just not possible anymore, but man in hindsight does that games story suck, especially the newer ones
Tbh the game main story is kinda so confusing :/ .. Fontaine story was very long very very long ... But I don't get why it have to go to all this trouble.. how this will impact the search of losing twin 😕
@hessaa1712 it wasn't about finding our twin. Not everything needs to line with the main plot line. And it wasn't long, it was actually pretty short, only three chapters.
I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again. Tectone or literally any gacha CC does not speak for EVERY single player that plays gacha. People need to stop talking as if normal players or even CCs themselves can’t play and make content for BOTH Genshin AND WuWa at the same time. It’s honestly cringe. You don’t have to pick a side, just play whatever game you genuinely have fun and enjoy, lol. If you enjoy Genshin but not WuWa, then play Genshin. If you enjoy WuWa, but not Genshin, then play WuWa. If you don’t like BOTH? Then DONT play both. If you LIKE playing both, then PLAY both. It’s such a simple concept, it’s not that hard to understand, lol.
Thank you. I am honestly loosing interest of wuwa despite the benefits (I think personally the overwhelming and free wishes made me feel as if it was not even earned, yeah genshin may be worse but at least it felt like I earned the wishes and not just giving me for free everytime) but that is my opinion. To this day I still think the most fun gliding system was from Arkham City, that game actually let you dive and pull up to increase speed and keep up the glide near-indefinitely. Still waiting and praying another open world game just copies this system and expands on it.
Wow, it's almost like game companies should invest a whole bunch of money to hire people of different age groups, just to play the game for long term to test out everything on how tedious and bad some aspects are and give advice to fixing it! and how some aspects are amazing, so that everything ugly gets cut and what's amazing be kept, and the bad parts get reworked It's almost like some movie called BIG figured that shit out in 2000 already?! Wow
Teccy, don't you think it's unfair for Wuwa when every Wuwa video you make ends up being about Genshin? The Genshin map concept will be used in all open world games that will be released.. where the concept of a map that takes several areas in the real world is a masterpiece.. HSR has implemented it, so it's very likely that WW will also implement it.
@F.I.N.A.L.I.T.Y. In fact, each region has the characteristics of several countries, which makes this concept a masterpiece, and now this too, is being implemented by HSR with each planet having different nuances... in my opinion, this concept will also be used WW, because what I tried on CBT2 has a feel like Liyue/Xianzhou Luofu (China)
I'm one of the people who are glad 4.3-4.6 had little content; I took a break after 2.2 and ended up not coming back until 4.2. I just finished all of Sumeru (the world quests were phenomenal, but so damn long) and was getting ready to start Fontaine when Wuthering Waves launched, and will get back to it when I've finished the content there. It feels good knowing I'll be caught up fairly quickly when Dawntrail is coming in a month, and Natlan roughly a month after that.
I play Star Rail mostly now but I'll still play Genshin for the story and new areas. I'm still anticipating what Snezhnaya will be like and the major story developments. Such as the Tsaritsa and the other traveler leading the abyss, rebelling against the "Heavenly Principles" (and find out more about Celestia).
i deleted genshin from my laptop because i dont have enough storage as i deleted it i had a whole more of storage and i dont regret it cuz that game is brain rot

I think wuthering waves DAYLIES should have a bunch of small crowd monsters that gives you the thrill and fun of just killing a bunch of shit, getting us that dopamine off without using any time at all, and then also include a cool boss fight that is just right in difficulty, a bit of skill, not too hard, but just right, not too long either, probably like 5 mins top, with 2 mind of killing a bunch of small flies, you know, that dopamine hit so that dailies no longer becomes a grind, but a dopamine releasing release for people with a lot of daily life stress who wants to vent and feel like a badass Ohh, and make it able to skip through some of it too, just in case you ain't feeling it that day, like do it once, skip through the rest of the 2
If its like star rail dailys then perfect If we dont have to actively look up what to do for the dailies and they just complete themselves in my daily login routine
i just failed to get chlorinde and lost the bullshit 50/50 after wasting 5 hours doing boring hangout quests. yeah. its safe to say i will take a break for a long time..
wuthering waves fanbase are mostly hardcore gamers but of course there will be some people that are like genshin but it's mostly gonna help each other cause the game is gonna be harder as the updates goes on. this is going to be like those other games that are released from 2011 to 2018 like God Eater for example i like that game so much. the community was so freaking chill. in my experience.
He did bring a good point, because I am one of those players Teccy mentioned about "Thank god it's a dead patch, I can now keep up" but also "Oh no, a new map already?" Because the exploration in Genshin is honestly so painful to navigate around. The areas getting bigger and bigger and even more ridiculously bigger but the way we traverse the world is not only archaic, but the QoLs to do so are also locked behind characters, which in a way demands you to pull. Also to explain what I meant, look at Mondstadt's Size and compare it to the rest of the nations, Mondstadt is like Singapore in size comparison now. WuWa's Infinite Stamina, Parkour, Air Hike, Inferno Rider and Grapple Everywhere mechanics are already so much fun to look at already, I can't wait to try them out in game later.
@16:24 absolutely true. Blade and Soul hit the nail on the head with their travel. It was always exciting to run around and fly places in that game and it made questing amazing. Personally I’m glad ZZZ doesn’t have an overworld. Just give me a guild house with all our waifus and I’m good bro lol
I'm not a gacha player. I played Genshin for a hot minute, and I've been all-in on Star Rail since its release. I haven't played any other gacha game or really have a desire to. So I didn't have any awareness of WW until people started comparing it to Genshin online, and then it caught my eye, and now I'm super interested (I was debating trying to get back into Genshin. Now I'm not because of WW. I mean in the end Hoyo doesn't care because they get my star rail money). So your first point holds true for me. (I've commented on like all your other videos xD I didn't know about you until looking up WW videos and dig ya. Hard to find a youtuber my age with interesting things to say).
Genshin on release was amazing. Lots to explore and collect, the initial surge of summons to collect some of the few characters available, very satisfying progression early on. After playing for a while it becomes a job; you're putting in a lot more effort for a lot less gain, the number of characters being released becomes overwhelming, power creep ruins all the work you put in previously, very little of significance being added or changed for long periods of time. Wuthering Waves is like Genshin on release. And it will eventually end up like Genshin is now, but for the moment it's fresh and fun.
I’m excited for WuWu, man. The last genuinely good story I played was HI3. Not that I don’t like that HI3 now, but you can see Kuros potential with storytelling. They just have that “spark.” You can tell that they’re onto something, and I’m excited and so happy they’re getting the attention they deserve. They’ve struggled a bit with story writing in PGR, but hopefully WuWu is another shot at making a good story-centric game. They’ve done well in the past with making characters unique and actually interesting. Case in point, Roland from PGR. Lovable idiot, but at the same time, a cunning battle strategist and master of manipulation. A person who’s influenced the story as much as the actual main characters. His expy, Scar, seems to be taking a similar route. Overall, Kuro is doing a LOT of things right with this game. Really excited for next week!
A month later, you know, I dislike Genshin being brought up around WuWa because I dislike Genshin fans and I do not want them to infect the game I like with their aids Might be too late for that though, but the other thing is that I do NOT want Wuthering Waves to be a Genshin competitor, I want it to be an open world PGR, they have their own thing and I'm way more excited for that than anything Genshin in the past 2 years I don't care if it "makes huyeverse start to worry" genshin can burn for all I care at this point(i would lie if i said it did not have any sentimental value to me but no interest as a game), but I'm digging WuWa and I hope it becomes a phenomenon in gacha industry and I hope the devs give us tons of cool content and characters and we're all gonna be having a lot of fun and listening to banger OSTs and beating challenges What I mean is...To me, WuWa is clean of Genshin and I hope that someday it grows to a point people will be talking WuWa and not "genshin competitor"
I quit genshin impact because there was no dodge or counter system. with wuthering waves I had no expectations because I thought it was going to feel like genshin and they overdid themselves so well it drew me in hardcore
Fun fact about Genshin characters. Every single character that has the same height and gender has the same base model as the rest in the category. People complained about Alhaitham having bigger arms than Itto, but they're identical. They just used essentially optical illusions by designing their clothes differently. Zhongli, Itto, Ayato, Baizhu, Kaveh, Thoma, Diluc, Wriothesly, Tartaglia, every single one of their base models are identical. The clothes and the way they draw the shadows on the bodies are the only differences. All the small girls have the same body, all the medium guys have the same, they're all identical. That's why it's wild that they don't do skins, because it would literally take an afternoon or two to make one for a team of like three people.
Genshin is a good game. I stopped playing Genshin because I experienced all the content. I wont play Genshin again until they bring a new continent/story with new enemies. I will play Wuthering Waves until I experience all the content and story.
Yeah, I started playing Star Rail first before trying Genshin for Navia and Xianyun (Raiden too but I lost my 50/50). The characters are great, the story was also nice but getting constantly blocked by my AR level made me lose interest before it got good. The open world is my main frustration, travel is so slow and it's irritating having to look at every corner for some measly premium currency. The lack of QoL updates also suck. I ended up focusing on events and other stuff so I got to AR 45 before I got started with Inazuma. By then, I was just done. I'll probably play Genshin again at some point because I want to finish the story but it won't be for awhile. I started playing PGR awhile ago and I got to enjoy it so I'm looking forward to WuWa. Kuro's doing a good job so far.
In one hand, Genshin endgame is gonna flop hard because the hardcore playerbase is already gone, leaving only the comfort addicts and toxic casuals who will complain that it's 'too hard, too stressful'. Nothing will change and, hopefully, Hoyo can drop that piece of garbo and focus on HSR and HI3. On the other hand, Wuthering Waves has gained a lot of hype and momentum in so little time, and the end product looks up to par with expectations. It can only get better and better if Kuro delivers on what their audience wants and listens to player feedback.
Blind Genshin hate if you think it’s wise for them to just drop the game completely, Genshin did help fund hsr,zzz development with all the money that’s been made.
I think WuWu will become at least top 3 in gacha game popularity. it's already really hyped, and Kuro seems to genuinely care about the playerbase (unlike another game I know...) and success of their game. I also still think Genshin will remain "unharmed" by WuWu. I can see it losing some popularity after WuWu releases, but lets be real, 90% of the playerbase doesn't even know about the Genshin drama, nor do they know about Tectone, nor do they care. WuWu being hyped is a good thing, but that also means people will have very high expectations, and it might not live up to what they were expecting. In all honesty, it really isnt a competition, it doesnt matter which game is more popular than the others, literally just play the games you enjoy, ill personally continue playing genshin, and maybe get WuWu if the story and gameplay is highly praised.
We all know why you quit that game is terrible me and my friend deleted the game today, I feel such a relief, the only reason I still play was because childe he's my favorite character, but now it's time for me to let it go home is some a lot, though, well, he's not real, but he was my favorite comfort character😢 😅❤
yeah, I don't even the game, it's not fun, not worth it, no endgame, the events don't feel good story just feels weird, it's just really boring, maybe because I'm a burnout, I'm got tired of the game, I'm in playing for too long, I'm just tired of it
Is the same thing as fortnite when I used to play back in day and I quit the game because I was too tired of it. I got bored of the game now that I think about it, I missed the game, though I like dancing
@@DainajaxXD i quit after Dehya release. I had 94k primo saved, i couldn't get her weapon maxed out so middle finger to mihoyo cause they made this weapon out of my reach xD
tbf, his title wasn't clickbait because he explained clearly (and a little ramble-y lol) why he was quitting Genshin for WuWa, so by definition it wasn't clickbait. It would have been clickbait if he had that title and said, "JUST KIDDING I LOVE GENSHIN, fuck WuWa, Genshin is the best!" but he didn't.
Then let him play whatever the hell he wants to play. Why does it matter that he switches between games? Because you want him to ONLY focus on your game which YOU think is amazing? He can play what he wants just like most people can, there's a reason we have multiple video games and that's to play them when we want how we want. If you get that freedom why doesn't he?
9:45 this is an exact issue in withering waves. Missions feel dragged out and it feels like I’m running back and forth across the map for an hour before getting lack luster rewards
I think both Genshin and WuWa will ultimately be fine. My concern is for HSR. I worry about a scenario where Hoyo starts pulling resources from HSR in an attempt to course correct Genshin. HSR is SO good so far. I hope they don't set it up for failure. I hope my worries are unfounded.
No because they have different development departments entirely. Plus HSR is already much cheaper to make and maintain. They have two completely different chains of command. Large companies with multiple different titles are the same. Hsr will be fine
I never got the "oh good thing this genshin patch has nothing, I can catch up." Like, catch up to what? It's a single-player game with very few multiplayer aspects that dont even matter.
When Teccy started yapping about the feeling of playing gachas and getting a rush whenever you get a new character in my head I was screaming "So gambling then?" cus whenever you win the gamble you feel the same rush
24:59 You don't understand the point here. I DON'T Have Kazuha or many of the characters that just came out. An we just had an event where you have to use their powers to beat a stage. I don't have those characters so i could NOT beat those stages. That is how important that is.
People dick ride Sumeru's story, whose story is good, but they don't talk about how bland the environments were. The most interesting part of Sumeru was the desert oasis and desert ruins because it felt like a fantasy adventure getting to explore an ancient civilization again like we did in Enkanomiya, the problem was that it was time gated as fuck. Sumeru's region quests are hands down the best in the game, and none of them were voiced. The narrative of strife and godhood as well as the downfall of several ancient peoples and civilizations was by far the most compelling thing Genshin put out in a long while. Another thing is that people dick ride Fontaine, but its environment sucks ass so much. A lot of the "puzzles" and "challenges" are highly automated. The water currents take you exactly where you need to go. The aerial water jets literally steer your character. Also why is like 60% of the interesting content underwater... an environment where I cannot use any of the cool weapons and abilities of characters I paid money for (or if you are F2P, characters that you worked your ass off to make the experience easier)? Why do they expect us to buy characters and not be able to use them? Why did they give Fontaine characters the pneumousia effects for regional puzzles if they are already gonna give us the means to complete the puzzles with the pneuma and ousia energy orbs interactables in the nearby environment, thus cutting into a lot of their potential by removing some of the natural scaling on their abilities for the stupid system?

i think what he’s saying as far as the combat and it being locked behind certain characters, he means that in wuwa you can dodge, parry, grapple, fight in the air, and you have your echo’s ability for all characters. Like those basic moves aren’t locked behind the characters and it makes combat more fun, but when you play genshin you have a more limited selection and certain abilities like characters being able to fight while in the air is locked behind a character whereas wuwa you already have that for all your characters.
As an ex genshin player ar55 and someone who spent considerable money on it: WW is much better and will be much better for those players who look for serious and fun gameplay, the story can be boring for some, but the thing is to pay attention to details and for me the apocalyptic topic is so good. The characters are far better designed than Genshin's with more variety and dynamics. The exploration and overall world seems more real and relatable. And the rewards... oh man, like 50 wishes are being gifted for free and more after completing certain lvls I got Neuvillette, Kazuha, and not even Arlecchino have better visuals and combos than Calcharo (my first 5star) Something worth mentioning is the effort put into the side stories and quests to actually be interesting, in Genshin I used to rush them just for primos, but in ww I found the stories quite funny and relatable, npcs with personality In Genshin, as ar55 in endgame, the game is beyond boring once you complete archon quests. All you can do build characters and explode abyss enemies, cos exploration is ridiculously easy (purposely, again, cos it's aimed to even children as players) In general, is a more childish game for casual players, and that's okay. But you can't really compare Mondstat vs Jinzhou, Baizhi vs Barbara, Rover vs Traveller, Keqing (ex keqing main) vs Calcharo, a Hilichurl that looks like a fkln cuddly toy (apparently cute) vs the vast variety of good designed enemies in ww. When I fought bosses in ww and they did insane combos to my character i was so hyped because that requires some brain to dodge/counterattack, like that's what a combat should feel! Not just spamming abilities and combos to so predictable enemies WW is so much better in my opinion and will continue to improve as it's proving in just 3 days of launch. I can't compare my first days of Genshin with this whole adventure in ww At this point I regret spending money on Genshin, cos it was never my ideal game, it's more like a fairytale game, beautiful world yes, but not really fun after some time. Again, this is just my personal opinion. If you look for a more serious, challenging, rewarding and diverse game... Wuthering Waves is just excellent
One thing that TOF and Wuwa that Iike is making exploration fun. (This is mostly TOF because I haven't played WuWa) The gadgets that you can use, the ones you unlock and upgrade. One thing I hope WuWa gets from TOF is the freaking jet pack. I LOVED the jet pack. Even if it means needing to level the glider to evolve it into a jet pack. I will grind to get it to that point. I just want to feel like I'm FLYING. Also the surfing... It was at the time that TOF fucked up ky PC. But the short time I got the surf around the ocean was SO relaxing. It's a proper evolution from the cute boat.

Good for you tectone. Do what makes you happy
tbh one of the major things Hoyo would "need" to do to fix Genshin is doing what wuwa did for CBT2: rewrite 90% of the story which is just not possible anymore, but man in hindsight does that games story suck, especially the newer ones
Bruh. I keep telling them that Fontaine story was absolute ass, especially the prison errand boy shit. But Hoyolics refuse to listen.
I can't agree with this ass take, it's literally the only reason i play the game.
Blud think the problem is the story when many if not almost players play genshin because of story and the worldbuilding.
Finally a rational comment. Respect 🗿
Thank you for one of the few good takes on here.
Thank you. I am honestly loosing interest of wuwa despite the benefits (I think personally the overwhelming and free wishes made me feel as if it was not even earned, yeah genshin may be worse but at least it felt like I earned the wishes and not just giving me for free everytime) but that is my opinion.

I just finished all of Sumeru (the world quests were phenomenal, but so damn long) and was getting ready to start Fontaine when Wuthering Waves launched, and will get back to it when I've finished the content there. Ohh, and make it able to skip through some of it too, just in case you ain't feeling it that day, like do it once, skip through the rest of the 2

HSR has the best story? you clearly haven't played Fate Grand order before.

Genshin is dead to me
I'm not a gacha player.
I’m still gonna play Genshin Impact and play Wuthering Waves when it comes out
😢 i cannot do it i have work. I will play wuwa this time.
A month later, you know, I dislike Genshin being brought up around WuWa because I dislike Genshin fans and I do not want them to infect the game I like with their aids
Might be too late for that though, but the other thing is that I do NOT want Wuthering Waves to be a Genshin competitor, I want it to be an open world PGR, they have their own thing and I'm way more excited for that than anything Genshin in the past 2 years
I don't care if it "makes huyeverse start to worry" genshin can burn for all I care at this point(i would lie if i said it did not have any sentimental value to me but no interest as a game), but I'm digging WuWa and I hope it becomes a phenomenon in gacha industry and I hope the devs give us tons of cool content and characters and we're all gonna be having a lot of fun and listening to banger OSTs and beating challenges
What I mean is...To me, WuWa is clean of Genshin and I hope that someday it grows to a point people will be talking WuWa and not "genshin competitor"
my last 5 pulls in HSR have been at 89.... so yeah im thankful that at least in WUWA if it goes wrong is 79

Bruh, when even GameFreak puts more effort into the character models than MHY, then you know you screwed up.

WUTHERING WAVES x HONKAI STAR RAIL COLLAB WHEN?

Mfs on twitter gon be fuming over this video. 'But you already quit genshin'. I can already see the dumbasses saying this.
They already are without even watching the video. It just makes them look dumb
@@khulmach9662 oh i know they ain't watching it. They are the definition of taking shit out of context most of the time. Other times they take the context and make it sound like the dumbest shit.
I don't think this person even played Genshin, he can't name the most basic things. If Tectone who played the game, whaled his ass out and shit talks smack, well fair. But I doubt the person he is reacting to even went past AR 30.
i think what he’s saying as far as the combat and it being locked behind certain characters, he means that in wuwa you can dodge, parry, grapple, fight in the air, and you have your echo’s ability for all characters. Like those basic moves aren’t locked behind the characters and it makes combat more fun, but when you play genshin you have a more limited selection and certain abilities like characters being able to fight while in the air is locked behind a character whereas wuwa you already have that for all your characters.
As an ex genshin player ar55 and someone who spent considerable money on it:
WW is much better and will be much better for those players who look for serious and fun gameplay, the story can be boring for some, but the thing is to pay attention to details and for me the apocalyptic topic is so good. The characters are far better designed than Genshin's with more variety and dynamics. The exploration and overall world seems more real and relatable. And the rewards... oh man, like 50 wishes are being gifted for free and more after completing certain lvls
I got Neuvillette, Kazuha, and not even Arlecchino have better visuals and combos than Calcharo (my first 5star)
Something worth mentioning is the effort put into the side stories and quests to actually be interesting, in Genshin I used to rush them just for primos, but in ww I found the stories quite funny and relatable, npcs with personality
In Genshin, as ar55 in endgame, the game is beyond boring once you complete archon quests. All you can do build characters and explode abyss enemies, cos exploration is ridiculously easy (purposely, again, cos it's aimed to even children as players)
In general, is a more childish game for casual players, and that's okay.
Not just spamming abilities and combos to so predictable enemies
WW is so much better in my opinion and will continue to improve as it's proving in just 3 days of launch. I can't compare my first days of Genshin with this whole adventure in ww
At this point I regret spending money on Genshin, cos it was never my ideal game, it's more like a fairytale game, beautiful world yes, but not really fun after some time.
Again, this is just my personal opinion. If you look for a more serious, challenging, rewarding and diverse game... Wuthering Waves is just excellent
I'll play the shit out of this game, dude! And I already know, it will be PERFECT.
55:30 It gets crazy when I’m already watching at 1.5x and then tectone also puts the video in 1.5x speed
