I was lucky to see Him playing during 80's and 90's ...great Player
A team of Ruud Gullits would be the best team ever if made up of 1 single player. Ruud had everything.
Power, speed, technique, height, stamina - he is an impeccable player in every respect.
He's my favourite player!!
What a player! He could have played any position for any team.
Saw Gullit play for Chelsea in that sweeper positon and he was amazing. Best I have ever seen in the flesh
He lifted the spirit of every team he played for, he destroyed the Dutch inferiority complex during the EK of '88. He could transform a mediocre team into a champion, so Gullit's spirit was also the most complete. So good to watch Gullit had such a happy time in England, London. I always keep my fingers crossed for England during every European or World Cup tournament, England must win once more, football was invented by the English, hopefully in 2024.
Inspiring players in all aspects are not seen in todays football anymore.
I once asked my uncle, who is Ruud Gullit, and he said the greatest footballer of all time.what a legend
What A documentaire👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Respect from Amsterdam❌❌❌
I started watching international football at that and this was when AC Milan became my favorite soccer team.
he was extremely complete he could play every position and still be one of the best players ! I personally think as a number 4 offensive central defender he would have been even better than as a striker
Finally some well spoken, great video/photo content! Best footie legend chan by far, thank you for creating!!!!!
I use to play with his son both in club and during school breaks. Maxim was one of my best friends. Unfortunately my bro got a recent leg injury. Still young I hope he reaches glory one day.
I flew on a plane with him back in the day. I was 15 on my way to Europe for soccer. I can remember it like it was yesterday
That was really a good report.
Such a shame we don't bring him into the Goats debate, this man is unbelievable in so many positions.
HFC Haarlem were my local club for a while, I was at their second last game before they folded.
They were also Dick Advocaat's first managerial gig.
Sad loss, it's a beautiful city that should have a pro team.
When he won the Ballon d'Or it was European footballer of the year award actually.
Still is, you can't win it if you don't play in Europe, you can be from another continent but you can't win it playing in South America for example.
@@calgakispict3652 yes technically true but id say its generally considered the elite worldwide award. Thats why uefas award is now considered the European player of the year award.
@@rosemaryfarell5264 it is the European vote
@@lexkanyima2195Word of mouth is they're going back to the previous criteria.
One of the most rounded players ever. Class
You can put this man anywhere on the pitch and he will excell even in todays football could easy be one of the best....
What an amazing report and an amazing commentary. Wow wow wow. Well done 👏
Was too young when he played and wish he had played in 94 wc I would have seen him. Great player great documentary.
Why ?
Well, others may forget about him; but I have not forgotten about him at all! One of football's greatest players! And what God has put together, let no one put asunder! The fathers friendship has brought their the kids together! There is indeed a friend closer than a brother! May they live longer! They are my heros ! 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰
Great documentary, love it
Great storytelling, really awesome work. Loved watching it. :)
