How The Most Predictable Winger In The World Became UNPLAYABLE With Only ONE-FOOT!

  • Considered one of the best wingers of his generation, Arjen Robben is a name known globally by football fans. Skilled with dribbling, and rapid in his hayday, he was a major threat for any defender even if they knew which way he wanted to turn. Reliant on his left-foot, he made famous the 'cut-in and shoot' from the right flank, and despite the fact that it was a predictable move, no-one could stop him at his best. Injury prone he suffered long-periods away from the pitch, but he still managed to accumulate hundreds of goal contributions and plenty of international accolades. Here's "The Story of Arjen Robben"...

When i think of “cut inside” he’s my first thought. Back in 2007-2010 time I remember Real Madrid TV used to be on Sky in the UK and I’d watch highlights of their games after school and I was just in absolute awe of him.

If Robben wasn't injured as much as he did I truly believe that he would have been the same level as Messi & Ronaldo. He had everything to reach their level and most importantly he had the right mindset
One of the best wingers I've ever seen
And I just want to clarify that Euro 2008 he came to the tournament injured so that's why he started the games but was still outstanding when he came on. Robben got injured again in training that's why he never came on against Russia.

@@danieladebisi4892that’s a very flawed logic. He never came close to rival either. He was a world class player no doubt but these are the 2 best players in football history who racked up 30-40 goals per season at the very least while playing for the two best teams in football history. He never rivales Ronaldo in the prem when both of them played there. He never hit the levels he reached with Bayern in Real Madrid. I know that stats isn’t everything but his best goal scoring season were 14/15 where he scored 17 league goals in Bundesliga while playing for by far the best team in the country. That’s not bad but it isn’t mind blowing either. Do you know when the last time Ronaldo or Messi scored under 20 league goals? Except in 21/22 where Messi scored 6 league goals (at the age of 35 btw) the last time he scored under 20 before that was in 07/08 when he was 20 and it was 08/09 for Ronaldo when he was 23/24 years old scoring 18 league goals. Not to mention their UCL records. They’ve almost scored the same amount goals in the UCL alone than Robben have in every competition combined in his entire career. That’s even with lower quality leagues such as eredivise & bundesliga. So to sum it all up, he never rivalled them.
      Tier 1: Messi & Ronaldo
Tier 2: Suarez, Benzema, Lewa, Xavi, Iniesta & Modric
Tier 3: Neymar, Robben, Hazard, Eto’o, Ribéry, Aguero, Xavi Alonso, Lampard, Gerrard

A proper winger who could play and on both sides. Robbens growth and maturity has been nothing short of excellence and his partnership with Ribery will forever remain legendary. His trickery was something to behold and his move to Bayern was heaven made.
His goal against United in the 2010 CL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
    😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
His magnum opus was his performance against Spain in 2014 World Cup when he embarrassed the World and European Champions 5 - 1.

A proper dribbler with magnificent pace combined with goals & assists. He’s definitely on Dutch all time best Xl & will have a strong case to make it on Bayern Munich Xl too (which is extremely hard since this is FC Hollywood we talking about). Personally when everybody was doing team of last decade I had to put him there on the right wing of my front three with Messi on top of the tree as a false 9 & Cristiano on the left wing (beating the likes of Suarez,Lewandowski & Kun Aguero) which was tough trust me but Arjen was sensational during the whole decade from 09-2019 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@badsolja1 Imao messi overrated. The guy is bugger than any shitty Italian club not to mention serie A is dead.He has scored more goals in a calendar year than half of the serie A teams combined.Even players like rashford is better than players of the past boomers like you should stick to cricket. The consistency of messi and Ronaldo is what makes them the best they have won everything excluding the world cup.You don't know shit about football even the greatest player of the past has told messi is the greatest I will take their words over yours any day.Messi just won copa and is the highest south American scorer reached the world cup final and won the best player award in FIFA world cup 2014 so how is he bad for his country? He scored and crushed AC Milan in the champions league Imao reply why messi is overrated.

you are such Loyal and ignorant fanboy
Messi did shit of nothing against Italian club before they start to decline
      From 2006-2011/2012
I don’t care of what he did after cause Italian club died and the defensive core that existed are no longer
He scored vs nesta ac Milan ?
      Or mexas ac Milan
He couldn’t score vs ac Milan when Nesta was old and still around
He couldn’t touch the ball when he played vs inter 2010 when he considered in his prime
Lucio and Samuel + chivu and zanetti and motto was too much for him to handle how’s that not overrated ?
      2010 World Cup dog shit
2014 dog shit did nothing except in the group stage
Want me to refresh your memory who they played in group stage ?
      Iran , Nigeria and Bosnia
The worst and the weakest stage group I have ever seen
Vs Belgium he missed 1v1 vs Courtois
Answer me how’s that not overrated
The entire last 15 years have no talents this why he’s overrated
He had 14% goal scoring ratio in his first 7 game vs Italian club
      How is that not overrated
How you can say Messi the greatest of all times when he failed to win the World Cup or do good at it
For me that’s the definition of overrated

Very Underrated player, many says that Ribery should've won ballon d'or in 2013, but I think overall that Robben should've won that one instead of CR7

Everyone knows Robben's signature move is to cut in on his left foot and score. An excellent inside forward for Bayern and the Netherlands. Madrid are dumb for selling him. Him and Ronaldo would have tore up La Liga.

The guy who narrated these videos seems to have read and researched well but didn't live through these eras.
When Robben was at Chelsea he was their devastating attacker and the frustration was that with him playing, Chelsea and Mourinho's counter attack style looked unplayable.. But he was forever injured so they couldn't build the empire on a sand.
At Madrid the 2 best players in LA Liga were Robben and Messi and 3rd was David Villa at Valencia.
This narration makes it seem like was just a really good player, when in his prime he was in the top 5 of the best players in the world.
The Bernd Schuster Madrid went through a Dutch phase and Robben was 2nd best player behind Messi that time at Real Madrid
