Actor Cyril Nri, who plays Lord Danbury from Queen Charlotte A Bridgeton Story, speaks to UEL students and staff.
We are honoured to welcome Cyril Nri, a Nigerian British born actor, who
has received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Lance in Russell T. Davies's Cucumber. Nri also plays Superintendent Adam Okaro in the Police TV series, The Bill. This guest talk, initiated by Jason Forrest, Course Leader for Fashion Marketing and Communication, and Dona Henriques, Project lead for Athena Swan, supported our lecture series on Decolonising the curriculum. The talk provided a platform which supports the value of belonging with the Office of Institutional Equity and the School of Art & Creative Industries.
