My last ever audition as an actor was for this show. I didn't get the role but Rob was the nicest man to me. I was reading for one of the soldiers and there had been a mix up with the casting director and the role was, I think, just being doubled by another cast member meaning it was pointless me being there. He allowed me to do an open audition for him and even though I knew it meant that I wouldn't get a part, he was still just really cool and treated me so well. He didn't need to do that but I will always be grateful that he did.

It continues to amaze me how much Andrew and Robert have made themselves available for such discussions...so much more than an interview...to try to express and have us understand their insights, struggles, process, discovery, perhaps gained clarity (or maintained ambiguity). Intelligent and respectful...both ways...of the cast/director and of the audience. Maybe that's what made it so special. We were truly engaged and not spectators. Have read the play again after experiencing this production, with a whole new appreciation for the written word. Thank you. And thank you Almeida...grateful to be able to support the work you do.

I just clicked to see maybe a couple of min of these. Suddenly here I am almost an hour later feeling thankful and writing it for anybody except me, I guess. They, specially Andrew, seemed so tired but in "50:41" with that "I don't Know", for me, valided all the conversation itself.
    So yeah. That was good.

Okay, wow, his size and shape are very beautiful. His biceps, his shoulders, his posture, his smile, his hair, his thin eyebrows...but maybe we wouldn't notice these nearly as much without the terrific roles and how beautifully he played them! (Though I would never bash Hamlet, I am strictly thinking of Moriarty and the Priest.)

Body language! Andrew leaning so far sideways he might fall off the chair. Rob leaning too far forward for Andrew's comfort. Rob is a director with strong vision and Andrew is an instinctive actor who just needs space! Dont see the value in this...... made a great sexy priest in the brill Fleabag.
