One thing you didn't mention is how much rift energy each rift tier provides. T1s give about 5, T2s give about 10-20, T3s give about 30-50. I recommend joining T3 runs in the LFG, you will get that step done in 30 minutes.
You also unlock the Slumbering Armour skin. I think that has less flashy effects.

Don’t you have to unlock those first anyway? Is there a way to get all the skins without the insanely huge cost of making the actual equipment?

@@agamersinsanity Wait, how can you unlock T1 skins simply by getting T2 when you have to make T1 pieces just to unlock the collection for 2?

If you don't have all 18 pieces of T1 Obsidian Armor yet but is considering getting them, consider carrying the Rune of Suffusion while tackling those pieces. You'll finish the T2 collections for the pieces naturally as well.
Also I think it counts if it's in a shared inventory slot, so it's good to keep it there if you play more than 1 character.
But im using the essense to the t2 collection so i'm really just doing t2 first that way.

Although not the worst collection, I'm glad I don't care for the T2 armor. Adding even just an additional 5 amalgamated kryptis essences is too much extra rifts/convergences for me. Once I finish T1 medium (almost), I'm definitely done with SotO and its content. I stick with my raid leggies for the bling.
It is also nice for alternative ways to do it, because my wolrd boss counter just skipped 3 and go to 4 when I did tequatle, and It is only work with "3" and not 3+
I didn't test if it will reset if you put the runestone to the bank. I hope If I do do with another character, than I can make it, but if I cannnot, than there is still the second tab there

I might make the chest piece for Medium. I have all 18 armors but only using the appearance (across 70 characters) of the Medium set on any of them.

How do you get drops on more than one account? Multiple twitch accounts?
@@peterleblanc661 Yes. Once Anet started doing Twitchdrops I made twitch accounts for my 2 main alt accounts that I still do Dailies for when they're easy.
I'm already crying about the essence costs to make all 3 Tier 1 armor sets. XD
If you are doing t1 armor and want to get t2 armor do them at the same time, you will get 2 t2 achives fully done 1 in week. You are already doing the 3 metas each day and convergence daily so in 3 days the meta, 3 events, and convergence will be done brining you to 6/9, you then do a map completion+half another to get you to 7/9, then do 3 wb when you can for 8/9. Once you are at 8/9 most of us do the weekly rifts for extra essence which is 30 rifts. Personally I do 3 t1, 2 t2s and 1 t3 in each zone. Doing this half way through you will finish rifts then go turn in and get a new 1 and you will finish rifts on the new 1 with the last half of the weekly rifts. after that do more maps/wb and do the metas+convergence daily.
Side note until june 4th first 2 metas in nayos dont count only new meta counts but you can do the meta thing in just 1 map if u really wanted just run skywatch 3 times for it.
I bought the recipes but hadn't looked at what's involved into crafting them yet cause I was gonna do the objectives slowly, but heeeeell no, I ain't skipping lol

What's the difference between sufussed and slumbering suffused?
The buff counters are also buggy. Sometimes they're not reflecting the actual count of what you accomplished. For less stress, you may want to consider keeping count yourself. :D But I never encountered something on the checklist not counting correctly behind the scenes, even if the buff counter didn't reflect it properly.
I'm failing the new Lonely Tower fractal hard. Mostly because of drowning in all the AOE on the ground at the final boss. Do you have plans to make a GTTP guide for that one?

I really hate the lantern grind, done it already too many times (Nayos) for the obsidian set.. but I'm not going to sacrifice my precious T6 mats for this 😑 Oh well, 2/6 suffused done 4/6 to go..

It does. Completed mine with the stone(s) in the shared inventory slot.

As long as you already have a piece of obsi armor, yeah, it should be possible to do both at the same time.

Does buying three rune stones or more gets you the whole set in one go?
I believe after you buy one you cannot get another until finishing the first.
@@MuklukUA-cam I was wondering this same thing cause I can't purchase more now that Ive started the Tier 2 achievement. There should be a note in the tool tip when purchasing this item since currently it doesn't specify about purchasing more and the wiki is no help on this matter either.

Man what a disappointing look for the advanced armor sets. While I don't know if anet promised it per se I remember them kind of hinting at the tier 1 obsidian will have a pretty pared back, practical look, and the tier 2 will be somewhat on par with the raid legendary armor in terms of visual effects. While it's nice that the tier 2 isn't super expensive to get, I would have rather it been more expensive and have a more impressive visual effect or some kind of transformation like the raid gear to make it worth it. Just some shiny runes added on don't really look that good to me

I mean its optional, i didnt care much for the other Skins for the Aurine Legendaries so i didn't bother with them( I also thought it was a ripoff) xD
@@Mannetasi And its honestly really nice for everyone that didnt make a complete set yet, cause they save alot of time. So i can't be too mad. I just dislike punishing players for being motivated to complete stuff directly after it comes out. ^^
@@Aeneaes Again you can't really call it punishing just because they now released a skin you have to work for, you still have your Legendary with the same benefits.
The Introduction of Relics i can agree punished people since now all the Leggy Runes you worked for isnt enough if you wanna do instanced Content, you will now have to get your hands on a bunch of Relics.
I don’t want to mean, great job on the video, it’s just… I kinda hate the armor. You do all this work, to basically get the same armor, but with just different color lights? Just floating runes? That’s it? People will grind hundreds of hours for this? Even the next tier for the original leggie armor felt more of an upgrade, each armor piece had its own moving animation, and would change. That was epic. This feels more like a downgrade. It just feels so lazy and a cope out. Makes me fear the game is dying. Either from poor management, or lack money, and or lack of staff and talent to further develop the game. Plus it’s crazy to think, obbi armor is the only weight class armors sets we got, for the entire Soto expansion. The other armor sets, one style of armor for all three weight classes? Did they not have the time? They sell a bunch of different armor styles in the gem store, but they can’t find time to make a complete armor set for all three weight classes? For an expansion that people will pay money for? They were able to do this in the past for HoT, PoF, and EoD. Oh well, I guess all is forgiven, for giving me a skyscale.
