Very informative, I think putting a scale under each tire(tare is for it's own weight) might be a good method to show force applied. A super free gear diff definitely seems to be a favorite among the RDX community, I'm surprised an equally free CLSD isnt favored for having a little bit more consistently. I guess I'll have to wait for that video
Thats a good idea! I never thought about that. I have been wondering what amount of weight actually makes a difference though. Like does a low cg drift car even out enough weight on its outer tire in the motion of the drift? Thank you for that comment
The open diff is forgiving and moves through corners at a faster rate than the spool. The spool I felt I could outperform the open diff if I could have a perfect throttle control but its so hard to do

I've done all 3 on my rdx, the ball diff was the smoothest but not quick to transition, the clsd was by far my favorite to jam
Hey bro where are you stationed at...? By the way keep up the videos.. love them!
Good ol Ft. Campbell. Thanks
You know I don’t understand what’s going on on the video, however, I watch. I also like reading the comments🤗 Keep them coming❤️
how did you fit the gear diff on the galm?
Overall, how do you feel it on the track with the open diff compared to a locked diff?

Thanks!@@idealautofactory
Is lock diff really helps on rwd rc drifting?
A locked diff will get you to learn better throttle control
@@idealautofactory for you what would you refer for a beginner like me, open diff or locked diff?
@aiorimotov.253 locked diff all day. Simplicity f
@@idealautofactory thank you so much.
I will try to run my Rc with a locked diff.
What do the wires to the magnets power?
