Hey man, thanks for the video, Would be great to see the car driving on a track or hitting some curves so we can see the way it drives better.. Did you have to change the servo horn from stock on your D6? I have the D5 MR with AGFRC V3 and random servo from rtr monster truck. I had to go down from 20mm horn to 16mm to be able to run on normal mode at 75% gain, drives sweet! With the 20mm horn I had to run AVCS mode at max 67% gain for minimal wobble. Maybe the D6 has different steering geometry and therefore a different leverage ratio with the servo... Also tried different gyro placement and preferred it behind rear axle rather than mid chassis.. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Cheers again brother

For a start the servo and gyro are well worth it. AGF V3 gyros aren't inferior to Yokomo V4, the servo seems well liked by reviewers. However, the servo can be upgraded along the way to a programmable like Yokomo, Reve D(most tunable), OMG, AGF or any others because those have anti-shake dampening which is valuable on slick surfaces

Those are good preety much if you only drifting at your backyard. If you go at a big track, prety much you wont be able to keep up with the pack, wobble will kick in and you wont be as prescise and smooth you would be with a yokomo v4 and a Reved rsst properly tuned. I strongly advise newcomers in our local rc drift track, to dont cheap out on the gyro/servo cause preety much the front end is all about what drift is. Further more with a fast esc/motor combo would be harder for a newbie to learn how to controll the drifts because input errors will have greater affect. For Example: if you do more throtle on a fast/expensive esc/motor propabbly you will spinn out. On the other hand on a Slow motor/esc even if you go flat out on throtle it wont do much cause it cant go faster anyways, so propably you will save the drift. in conclution, perhaps You can compete with a budget esc/motor if you focus doing clean/smooth lines, but you definatelly can't compete with injora servo, you wont be able to follow the huge angle and being smooth and prescise.. Thats why even in the most strange/bizzare japaneese rc drift videos you will see ppl drifting even with brushed motors but if you notice they always have smth like futaba gyro/servo combo :P. Nice one, I'm running on a budget setup took a little time to set up but seems well good enough to learn with. Hust need to hone the long sweeping bends.

i just did my first drifter. d5mr v2.1 with budget, 1080crawler esc, 12.5t motor. powerhd gyro. SPT 4412LV servo. 3sbattery. and it works great :D

On my sakura d4 i have the goup rc 43kv motor, radiolink rc4gs, the cheapest gyro on amazon, 45g servo, i feel guilty spending money on rc stuff so i go the cheapest route but knowing how my other gyro made a huge difference and made it feel so smooth and easy to hold angle, but instead of upgrading I’ve accepted it and started going into fpv and im waiting to replace my broken head tracker cause the gyro splitters works but head tracking was 100x better

I’m running a traxxas rx and tx on my rmx2.0 with a cheap digital servo and yokomo v4 gyro works well it’s just practice makes perfect.

How's the transmitter compared to what you are currently using? HotRC transmitter & receiver are relatively cheap, it be goood to know how it performs

As an owner of a velocity yellow c6 z I can did it! Thought about a carbon roof/halo or maybe a wrap, after this probably doing a wrap. Also seeing you holding your baby was legit. Real father’s stand up!!!

Future reference, try to keep the product away from the sides. Leave you self room to surround the entirety of the product. Securing it to the cardboard was clutch as well. Next time tho bro just a thought. Love it just figured I’d share my experience with shipping and logistics

How'd you get that rdx chassis red? paint or vinyl? is that the frp chassis or carbon?

bubble wraps it bag it and then put some towels that how i been shipping bodies and so far the bubble wrap inside the of them takes this and scratches

Sensitivity adj on gyro compensates for your placement. So it adjustment takes into account for placement really. So placement don't matter really...adjustment matters lol Cool video and alot of really good points bro!

Random question. What's the learning curve like going to the track the first time. Ive gone through 3 or 4 sets of rear tires on concrete in the garage and have a little time inside on the fake hardwood floors with an indoor set. I have a track about an hour away and want to go but i also dont want to look like an ass
