Mexican Style Pork Sausage - Aldi - £1.99p - Gluten Free - food review

- I bought these Mexican style sausages in Aldi to review ! so what were they like ?
In my opinion they are excellent - you get 6 sausages which are in a vegetable casing which is nice and easy to bite through - I cooked them using the John Davies method in an air fryer where you massage the sausages with oil then cook them at a lower temperature - I cooked mine for 14 minutes at 165C and they were perfect - the Pork is very nice and there was no gnarl at all - the heat from the chilli is there and it does give a very pleasant burn which lasts for a while after eating them - the chilli heat is not overpowering at all - the cheese can be tasted which is nice and works so well with the Pork - I could not taste the kidney beans but everything else was excellent - I would buy them again and if you like Mexican cuisine these are just what it says on the packet - I can recommend them and I score them 9 out of 10 for quality and taste and 10 out of 10 for price ! - Розваги

I have been tired as I have so many people pulling on me from one direction to another my father is the most concerning as he is constant with his demands on my time and what he forgets is that I am not a young man myself and I have health issues to deal with as well along with the fact that I live over 20 miles away from him which makes every visit to him a long day ! so it is nice to sit down occasionally on youtube and allow me to be me for a short while ! These sausages look quite good. It's great when something is good. The gnarly bits, my mother would refer to them as grizzle/grizzly bits. This is a great review👍

These sausages sound just up my street and you've convinced me I really should pay a visit to Aldi again, I don't go very often because it's right at the other end of town.

Once again Graham an excellent review Aldi are definitely knocking the ball right out of the park lately with their products so I'll be looking out for these, they sound like the Morrison's hell fire 🔥 sausages and would go brilliant with homemade chilli 🌶 and make a brilliant chilli dog 🌶🌭on a cold damp miserable bonfire night with a nice baked crispy skinned baked potato they also do a maple cured bacon and pork sausage which is to me the best supermarket sausage out there it is butchers quality 🥔 👍👍🌭🌶🔥🥔
Good Morning Robert , thank you for the comment - Aldi have certainly raised their game over the past year and in my opinion are better than Lidl now - they have a decent heat with them but not as hot as the Hellfire ones from Morrisons - the sausage would work very well in a chilli I am sure ! I may well make a chilli dog later today with remaining three - there are some great sausages out there these days and so many different varieties as well ! have a great Friday my Friend :-)

They look super duper, didn't manage to get to ALDI yesterday, we popped in Sainsbury's, Herons B&M and Spots direct, but will pop in soon for the marrow burgers and sausages!
Hubby got his Sketchers, they are very comfy he said, he needs them at work, as he's on his feet all day.

Good Morning Anna, thank you for the reply -I worked until I was 66 and I had certainly had enough by then ! the upping of the age of retirement is ridiculous and soon ot will be raised to 72 ? what is all that about ? they say the pension is a benefit but in reality those who have worked all their lives have paid in to the pension system so how is it a benefit ? it is good to keep busy as far too many people sit and do nothing and then their health deteriorates - lets be honest after working for 50 years + the time left for living is short ! @@grahamjenkinson3487 yes Graham after working for 50 years , life is shorter, we make sure that we try to enjoy life now!!! Mark recently took his pension pot money out when he turned 55, so we have been spending and having a good time , yes we certainly deserve it, so i bought him 8 bottles of champagne 🍾 and 4 of them go up in loft for xmas. 😆 Booked that holiday and getting some nice things

Morning Graham they look great not only has a Chilli/Hot Dog or in a Wrap but they would be fab cooked and cut up and mixed into a Chilli Con Carne. I think that the reality with allergens is that I doubt that there is anything on the planet that someone isn't allergic to, Graham. The FSA lists the top 14 allergens that can cause a severe reaction. Capsicum allergy is considered rare, and for the most part the symptoms aren't severe, hence why it's not listed I suppose.
Good Afternoon JonPaul, thank you for the comment - I agree there will be something out there that someone is allergic to ! I do know several people who are sick if they have anything with chilli in it ! but if the " experts " have a list of allergens that will bw why the less known ones are not added ! have a great afternoon my friend :-)
capsicum causes swelling an irritation to the body of people so it's a alligen yes or no

@@JonPaul1953 sorry, yes it is rare an it is listed under cap7 , I know what you are going to say people shouldn't buy products with capsicum in , yes I agree but allergic reactions can come on unexpected I never had hay fever up until 2 years ago so it's rare but people have the right to know don't you think
@@davidgomm6043 No probs, mate. And I agree about allergies just starting. I never had any apart from hay fever as a kid, that I grew out of. Sorry to hear yours has just started. Problem is , as I said in my op, that there probably isn't anything on the planet that someone isn't allergic to. That being the problem, where do you start and stop with the list?.
