I love seeing Simon talking into that microphone attached to your phone, like how you use the iPad for Ezra to communicate what he wants. My cousin Trey may have Autism but I still love him, anyway, growing up he only had a problem with his behavior and how expressing how he feels. You're doing a wonderful job raising your two young boys as a mother and certainly can't wait to see the next video you post.😊😊😊

A helpful tip my son’s therapists have shown me is to stop asking him to “say (insert word)”. So instead of saying, “say ball” just simply play along and say “here comes the ball” or ask “you want the ball?” And then my son will either sign or verbally try to say ball. But if I constantly ask him “say this” or “say that” it stresses him out.
This is more for kids like Ezra than Simon who is more comfortable being asked to say something.

This is such a helpful and awesome video! It’s amazing how helpful technology can be for helping anyone with autism. Simons speech is getting so good. He says his letters very clearly. Him and Ezra have come a long way with communication❤ I didn’t start talking until I was 3 and my mom would pick every week to try to get me to say and would use it a lot to help me learn it

Lovely family! Could I ask, what app are you using on the phone to motivate Simon to using and recording his voice. Seeing the green bars go up and down is definitely a creative and fun way to make them want to make sounds and speak. Want to give that a try! Moreover, if you have a suggestion for which microphone to buy that attaches to the phone, that would be appreciated too. Thank you for sharing your family's journey. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. ❤️ Yes, you can download the app for free (MOTIV Audio), the mic that we use is the Shure MV88+, which is a great Mic, but probably overkill just for a child to see the bars. :-) You could just use the app with your device, but if you have a need for good audio quality as well, that Mic works well.
When unable to speak, I use Google Translate on my phone just English to English which allows me to have it read out loud, although I recently got another app specifically meant for non-speaking people to be able to communicate effectively. Or if unable to use the phone for any reason, I also have pen and paper usually nearby even went out and about that I can use.

I found my old preschool work books just like me the twins went to school at 3 years old so I'm gonna get whiteout work with them during the summer and I read 2 books to them every night in my bed we've been have fun with Dr. Susse books ❤ love that time with them and they sing alot
We also watch old sesame street episodes I put on DVD they call me the alligator king because I have 7 sons😂

I'm pretty bad at communication, if I have a meltdown, it's getting worse, I don't know what word should I say to express my feeling, I even scared to speak louder, it makes me feel embrassing, I hope I can being better with communication soon
Is it harder as well when there are more people around?

However, my dream job is to become a EDM/DJ producer, I feel like I like that job a lot, probably that job can makes me feel better and being more happy in my life

Only time can tell, we just do the best we can to give him as many chances for learning and development as possible and hope for the best. 😊

What happened 2 there hair, it's really crooked. You need some electric clippers & put on a guard that's not 2 short & jus go over there entire head...
