No time to waste now after a decade of allowing this excellent camera to 'take its own pictures' due to my ignorance of managing settings. My little PowerShot is extinct now, but I'm now ready to learn each function. Thank you so much. I love the way you teach from behind and in front of the camera.

I take a decent photo but have a dreadful learning disability with numbers. I had wanted / needed to learn to use my cameras better but have always stopped shortly into the tutorial or class. You,for some amazing reason, finally reached me and helped me to understand. Oh ,man, this is wonderful. I cannot wait to see what i will be able to do now. i will absolutely check out your books and classes.Thank you.

Great, someone explaining who not only knows what he is talking about but also knows how to keep it simple, to the point, while keeping it very practical and USEFUL and still letting us know about further technical possibilities and what could happen if we dig deeper in those possibilities without boring us with a load of non useful technical explanations and demonstrations.... thank you

I was into 35mm SLR photography many years ago and now at 69, I'm getting back at it. Today, with digital photography, cameras have so much more options and functions to support great picture taking, After looking around a bit, I got a Canon Powershot SX530 HS and have gotten some really good photos. After a while I thought that I should upgrade a bit and bought a Nikon D3500. Well the Nikon is a nice basic digital camera but I've found that it is not in the least better than the Canon. The SX530 has a built in zoom lens (25-1200) and it's auto zoom with excellent auto focus too. Very adjustable camera as well. The Nikon body allows different lenses and I have a 50mm fixed. and 18-55 zoom and a 70-300 zoom. So I have to change lens for different situations. In conclusion, I find that the Canon Powershot SX530 takes as good photos with less lens management and at WAY less cost. Today the Nikon and lenses are sitting on a shelf and I find I take the bag with the Powershot all the time now. It would be great to see a show about the SX530, it's great!!! The one drawback for me is that the Powershot doesn't have a viewfinder and the screen can be hard to see clearly in the bright sun.

Cool! I have a Power Shot from 2007, lol! I'm using my Canon 70D more now, but these features are really good to know, in case I want a really compact camera. The SX50 is great and it's so cool! I've tried it out. That Dolica tripod is great and I love it, thanks for recommending it! That Android reader looks really cool (I want to get a Samsung S5 soon). I sent you an email btw, about my lens falling off and where I could get a product photography black background. Thanks!

Watching this video and it is great as I am totally inexperienced. I want a great camera to take pics of my kids baseball and softball, ball hitting glove, dust exploding from it. But figured I need to master the camera that I have before I upgrade. But my daughter from across the room just heard you say... Home base, instead of home plate. Lol. All of a sudden she was like... Whoa, whoa whoa... Who are you watching?! 🤣.

Very nice, Any suggestions where I can go to get information on using the Cannon sx60. Your comments were helpful but general and I would like to know more about the specifics of this camera. Admittedly I am new and would prefer videos that are short and don't cover too many features at once. BTW when I search here on UA-cam for the camera I get lots of comparisons and how to get it out of the box.
    Thanks again.

Hello William. I', not sure if you have discovered this, but I have found the MWestPhotography UA-cam channel very helpful for the sx series cameras. His season one covers the basics quite well without being overwhelming. His videos are very encouraging to those of us that want o take better pictures but do no necessarily aspire to become professional (yet). He uses the sx50 and then the sx60 in later episodes.

Is regarding the resolution, and megapixels settings ... I want to do some portraits for a girl , outdoors and a sunny day , I'll try to shoot on Manual or Portrait and I want my pictures on point . I'm confused if those setting that I have now will be a problem . I have L, and 4:3

I shoot a mirrorless camera but I still keep my SX-50HS for moon shots/extra zoom. a camera with 1200mm zoom and raw pictures is pretty sweet for the price. Getting the same zoom even with cropping on my a6000 would cost me a fortune.

Hello! I have CANON POWERWSHOT SX400. When I put ''on'' to be able to turn it on, the green light blinks for a long time until it lets me take photos, then, to be able to see the images I took (which I will have not much more than 100) the light is blinking for quite a long time , it won't let me take the photos (it seems to get stuck) until the camera is completely turned off. Any solution? I thought it was from the battery but it's 10, and the memory has a lot of storage. I look forward to some response, thank you!
