What a HOOT! Now, I do not need to ask my son - the stainglass guru - to make them or ask how to make them. I'll just do them myself... Great tutorial Miss Lindsay. Thank you!!

the skin she made at the start of the video ended up looking like a side view or profile it even had a neck chin mouth nose and you can see where the hair stops and the back of the neck begins.. very trippy, very cool!

Ok... I finished watching until the end and I think this is fantastic! I was recently looking into trying to make paper beads but I need fancy paper to make them with and I already have everything I need to make this. I actually even have the aluminum tape I can't wait to do this and I have some other ideas about ways to use this technique. I will be checking out your glitter video as well. Thanks so much for sharing this! I just absolutely love doing crafty diy things especially if it pertains to jewelry. Have a blessed day!😊

Great tutorial, as always! I definitely like the look of the foil lines on the inside of your designs better than the tubed media. It matches the sides and is shinier. Thank you for all the great ideas! I'm amazed at how many different art forms and crafts that you do so well. You're an amazing inspiration!

Great idea Lindsay ! I save clear acrylic packaging, I wonder if you put the skins on a piece of that. say in an ornament shape. Then the light could shine thru it on the Christmas tree. You might still need to glue the packaging to a piece of aluminum foil for reflection purposes.Of course there'd be no need for the packaging, just use the cardboard. I did some of that faux stained glass painting years ago, and you used acrylic or plexiglass shapes. I love your idea Lindsay. The beads are really cute. Everyone probably has all of the "ingredients" right now and could get up and start making these right away. Fun project!!!

Genius and Gorgeous idea! Definitely doing this with my Grand daughters. I've got them coming over for a Slumber/movie/craft night tonight and wish I would have seen this a couple of days ago so I would have had the plasticky material ready to just go forward with this. I'll have to have them over again real soon after I do the first step (the skin/tissue paper's a great idea but don't have any :( ) for this project. They're going to love this and I already do!

Hm, like the acrylic skin, but not the opaque backing. Think I'll try the skin on a CD after peeling off the label so it's translucent. Oooooh, the possibilities with the acrylic skin. TFS, Lindsay.
I've cut myself with foil too! I was just covering a broiler pan! Would not have thought it could happen with the tape. Thanks for not editing that out!

Very cool! I can't wait to try these. I recently watched a UA-cam demo of Pebeo products --she showed Cerne relief which would work great for the leading. Also demonstrated was Pebeo Mixtion and Gedeo Mirror foil--would look awesome with the colored foil as leading! Off to Hobby Lobby or Dick Blick for those. The possibilities with this project just go on and on.

What a fab look ! My only concern is durability, as the product would be easy to dent. I'm wondering if a coating of varnish would make it that much stronger ? Always searching for tricks to use in my own creations which I sell but need to make sure they're not going to get damaged.
