Nice you showed a HITTEN cd, they are from Spain. They dont have a bad album. I recorded for my you tube channel them playing a FIREHOUSE song live, when the vocalist died. Great homage they did.

Awesome to see the mighty Quo get some love. As a huge fan, I gotta say that 5 cd box set is the quintessential Quo it never got better than those 5 imo. If you prefer the later stuff check out Heavy Traffic from 2002 that is for me the best of the later years. Cheers Brendon

I was the same way with Status Quo. I eventually picked up a two disc greatest hits and it’s great. It’s also all I need. I do watch their old live shows on UA-cam every once in a while.

regarding Status Quo.. you're missing the 1977 album - Rockin' all over the world which came out after Blue for you and before You Can't Stand the Heat. There is also the 1977 Live album, which many Quo fans simply adore. Great episode.

Fyi, Fanny had two Top 40 pop hits in the early 70s. "Charity Ball" hit #40 in 1971. "Butter Boy" (actually a song about singer/bassist Jean Milligan's intimacy with David Bowie) is their biggest hit, peaking at #29 in 1974. The latter is found on their final album "Rock N' Roll Survivors," originally released on the Casablanca label, the band's only album with Suzi Quatro's sister Patti Quatro on guitar (who replaced Jean's sister June Milligan in the band.)

hi Brendon! If you dig Bernard Fowler's voice, I'd recommend you, if you do not have them yet, the records he did with the guitarist Stevie Salas. Fowler collaborated on Stevie's solo album, "The Electric Pow Wow", and the in the mid 90's they put together the band Nicklebag (do not get confussed with Nickleback ;). Cool albums that might be right up your alley.
    Cheers!

They released 2 albums since with him on lead vocals 'Tattooed on My Brain' (2018) & 'Surviving the Law' (2022). Check them out, I think you're really going to like them.

Fanny, the 1st all female rock band to be signed to a major label (Jimi Hendrix's label) back in 1970 have just released a new album on CD & vinyl, "Live on Beat-Club '71-'72". The audio quality is not pristine, or polish, but is not horrible either. Is decent. Those "live" tracks will rock you into the next county!
