I had a near fatal car wreck at 17 years old and my face went through the windshield after hitting two pine trees. It crushed my elbow, broke pretty much every bone from my ribs up.. collapsed lungs.. broken jaw in three places and a horrible keloid scar that looked like a tiger clawed me on my left arm.. but my left side of my face particularly my cheek, jaw and chin area have keloid scarring. I would often times get asked if I’m a burn victim. I was so stupid to think I wasn’t pretty enough before my wreck..I could only dream of having my old face back..I miss my sharp jawline, my heart shaped face and even chin. Wish they could invent something to fix it.
You r still pretty enough. I got a keloid behind my earlobe because people in my class told me that I got big ears, so I went to surgery to make my ears smaller.. it's just not fair. But I will take anything to remove my keloid. Next Friday I m having radiotherapy and try to removing so my keloid.
i was in a car crash a year ago at 17 years old too i got a keloid scar on my upper lip, if you’re consistent with lasers at the doctor you’ll see improvement like i did sis, my scar is slowly turning into a hypertopic scar and my dr said we can resurface to get some regular skin over it soon

@@arturoestrada6803 thank you… I don’t let the scars wear me.. I wear my scars with pride. Took some getting used to but now I can actually admit I am more conscientious of any wrinkles forming that my scars. Just glad I’m alive!
@@MrDonaldTrump24 I wish you the best but please know, a lot of people don’t even notice my scarring until I point it out. I used to think my ears were big too..now I think back at how silly I was and wish I hadn’t been so hard on myself but I totally get it.
Why there is no proper treatment for keloids till today? Will keloids go away completely when we get older? Keloids will ruin anyone's life of happiness.
Keloids will never go away, I got surgery to remove my keloid scar, which helped me with its size. Now an hypertropic scar has formed instead.

I have keloid problems on my back and chest. There were some keloides that were odd-looking and bigger than the others. I was treated with steroids (Triamcinolone acetonide a corticosteroid) you know that steroid treatments may be harmful if they are not prescribed well. I took steroids through injection on my big scars (all around the scars only once). After just one month of treatment, all of them vanished; now only their scars are present, and those scars can be removed by laser treatment. I will take this action also.
I recommnd you to take steroid treatment if your scars are big,hard,long and swollen which is odd looking. It is also very cost effective.
@@maksworld4193 My dermatologist has suggested this for my hypertrophic scars; they're small but painful. I'm worried about the side effects, did you experience hypopigmentation?
There is nothing really. Most things can make it worse.
U really clear my doubt i had a small cut between my fingers and after a week it get raised and i thought it form into a keloid but actually it was a hypertrophic scar which is not spread to other body places now i'm fine about that
My hypotrophic scar has been caused by acid fat dissolver injections; I have about 8 on my belly that went wrong. A tiny one had disappeared after 5 months and 4 done 5 months ago are flat but bruised.
The 7 left are still raised and its been 3 months for those; how long will it take if the tiny one has gone in 4-5 months? Ty xxx❤

After I gave birth I noticed I brown skin like a spot above my navel. I didn’t pay attention as I thought it was only stretch mark from my pregnancy. 15 years later with my third pregnancy now it’s grew and still growing half and inch long . Now I’m pregnant I’m anxious how ugly this will look like as my tummy grow bigger. 😢
I don’t know if the bump on my nose is a Keloid or a piercing bump but it hurt and it just doesn’t go all over my nose but just on one spot the spot where de scar is
Does it itch? Keloid are often extremely itchy.

Hi, my question is what scar do I have? I have a bump that is slightly raised near my mouth from acne. Its so slight that it doesn't look like a scar but instead adds to the smile line. It is the same color as my skin but makes my smile line worse. It only becomes more visibly red when I scratch at it and then returns to normal skin color.
Like how do I get rid of it?
