Great interview guys! Justin is right, here in Australia they really put a lot of value in people in trades because these are the guys who build the country and make it better. Electricians here can earn up to $100/hr and ik a guy who works as a heavy diesel mechanic they make $200k/year and only work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Basically only working 6 months out of the year.

It is refreshing to hear someone appreciate the trades. I’m a plumber about to test for my masters in Arkansas. It is 1000 percent a tough job. If you don’t take pride in your work you won’t make it in this field. If you’re lucky you get these little moments where it is 2 in the morning, freezing ass cold, and you finally get someone’s water kicked back on because it is Christmas Eve and they have family coming in in the morning. That moment when you finally get that done and you can see the relief on the homeowners face. That is what it is all about. And if you have my luck, when you finally get home around 3 am, you find that your wife made time to leave supper in the microwave and left a note appreciating you. It’s a rarity that all are not lucky enough to experience.

@@nattiemania there are many things preached by RP influencers that are largely degradative to society as a whole. I would say the same for the “blue pill” as well. There is no perfectly constructed or consistent ideology to follow or adhere to. Life is compromise and sacrifice. There is a cost to everything either personally or societally.
Speaking to people in power, that has been the case since the beginning of civilization. Religion, race, sexuality, education, finance, and every other aspect of humanity has been used to separate people. That is human nature. Humans are naturally tribal and we are easily separated into groups. This information is not hidden.
To your credit, there are aspects of RP that are admirable and I would agree with. Taking care of your physical body and focusing on self improvement are great motivators and should be aspired for. Another would be taking personal responsibility, which I think most humans have trouble doing. We are wired to confirm our biases and shirk responsibility, so I do think learning to be accountable is an important aspect of life and self development.
