(Yea, the issue is half-links don't play well with NW chainrings which are pretty common)

Forgot to mention:
- I used a torque wrench to ensure my cranks were installed to the correct specs
- I also used the torque wrench to make sure the ISCG bolt were evenly loaded

Is tension safe?

What do you mean? If it gets loose during rides?
I haven't had any issues, as the chain slowly stretches you'll need to adjust it a bit
