What strikes me as so terrifying isn’t that they’re all Christian, it’s that they’re all negative things associated with Christianity. Frollo is specifically selecting the words that allow him to look down on others. For C, for example, he could very well have Quasimodo use “Christ”. Instead, he uses the word “Contrition”, meaning Penance. In other words, he’s not a real Christian, he’s just using it in its most negative sense to facilitate his suppressionist worldview where only he is on top.
I thought H was going be Hellfire. But at least I know what's the rest of Frollo's alphabet.
