Perth City and "South Perth Zoo" [Australia] [1991]

This home video that I shot back in 1991, takes in the Perth 'CBD', including the no longer in existence "Raine Square" and the "Moon and Sixpence" pub. I also take a short wander thru the old "Wentworth Plaza Hotel" [where I was staying]. Filming then moves down to the "Barrack Street Jetty" [now the "Old Perth Port" area], where I catch a ferry across to the South Perth foreshore and make my way over to the "South Perth Zoological Gardens".

Great trip back in time! Interesting to see what has changed, that I didn't remember/was aware of. I was born in 1986 and grew up in Perth.

2:49 my brothers and I used to always look out for The Toothpaste Building every trip to Perth!
