That is just about the prettiest dump truck I've ever seen. Glad it went well. To that driver, been there done that. To Ron and crew, as always, it's the problem solving that keeps me coming back. To all Merry Christmas!
Oscar really is great, eager to learn, to help, and to listen and absorb all of Ron's knowledge. I wish I had the opportunity to do this job and learn from Ron.
I used to be a Roller driver and those two drivers should have rolled that a long time ago and both should be right up behind the Blaw Knox paver if they has been then that bit of asphalt would have been hard .Not your fault you have a job to do and they needed you to lift that Tipper truck before the asphalt goes to cold to use . I cant understand what the rollers are doing so far back from the Blaw Knox if that is Hot rolled asphalt and they were closer then that would be cold by now not enought to take the weight of the rotator though
I think y'all got a heartfelt "'tar' very much" from the customer for getting that wagon out of the ditch!! Not the easiest of jobs, but not too big a challenge for the team, but plenty big enough. Well done all of you. Wishing you all a joyous Christmas, with peace and prosperity for the New Year! Greetings from the UK and God bless.
Kinda makes you wish you had a second rotator. Once again, though, you were able to rescue the customer with the tools you do have, safely and efficiently. Great teamwork. Stay safe and healthy, and Merry Christmas to you, your family, and the Midwest Truck crew.
Ron the camera is showing enough to the extent that (1) having the knowledge of Towing & Winching this situation is quite critical because of where the load is & where the truck is located. I know you with both Trucks are going to get it out of the ditch and back on the road. 😊 My Father Taught me Towing and Winching . 😊 God Bless you and your crew for they have learned well from you.
Good morning and happy holidays Ron and company, I'm with you about rolling on the asphalt rather than getting stuck in the ditch and still having to roll on the fresh asphalt anyway after getting unstuck.
Good Morning There My Good Big Bro Ron Pratt Sir & God Bless You & All Of You're Whole Family & All Of You're Whole Staff As Well & Merry Christmas To You All
It's funny in the end you did it the way I thought was best from the start . i was saying guys bring the front end up on the road and drag it out securing the bed from rolling any further Anyway good job you fellers got er done
would it have made a difference if the rotator and stick boom's positions were swapped? using the spreader on the back for a lift-n-swing? just a thought and another way to get to ten.
I am going to jump on Oscar's fandwagon 🙃 as well. He does damn well in thinking ahead. I think Ethan made a good call to just get 18 unhooked there at the end. Well Done Midwest!!
Reminds me i delivered some crane Matt's to bridge replacement in South Carolina had to back down a road 2.75 miles with a 53 ft flat bed trailer spread axle
The guys that got themselves into that mess were in no position to be annoyed by anything you might have to do to get them out of it. If it was necessary to drive on their fresh asphalt to get into position to rescue their truck, that would be on them.
hi, im wondering if a rotator can pick up a 10,000 lb RV 24 footer 5th wheel from 20 ft away and move it 30 ft closer to rotator. I want to move the RV to build a house but no access to hook up truck. So im looking at options.
If it comes down between you or that road, they get to redo that road. It would be way cheaper to do that versus fixing the tator like you were saying…
ITS A TATOR PULL PULL PULL PULL . Hold the fries 🍟 please we just want tators . Job done the crew is buying burgers 🍔 for everybody 😋. Let have a few cold ones too . Hey somebody has to wash the trucks now. 🙉🙊🙈🎄🎅🛸👽👽👽😳
I've really been impressed with Oscar. He pays attention to details. He was very proactive looking at every angle. Great asset to your team.

Ron, maybe you should add a drone to ROTATOR'S gear, so you could send it up and see for yourself,
Now that's a brilliant Idea Heidi...!!! So many industries are now using this technology...!
It does mean that anyone who wants to use it is gonna have to get licensed on it though for commercial use
Oscar is quite the asset. Man he was all over that truck looking for options for rigging.
Great Recovery, your Team are all onboard with you!
Ron, I really like Oscar's work ethics.
Oscar really is great, eager to learn, to help, and to listen and absorb all of Ron's knowledge. I wish I had the opportunity to do this job and learn from Ron.
Mess up asphalt better than fixing a million dollar truck
Oscar is most knowledgeable
Beautiful job again

Angles are everything. By knowing where to angle your lines you showed you can do just about anything.
Merry Christmas Ron and crew. Be safe

WOW - so wierd at 21:00 you looked at your phone and it was 10:34 and I looked at my watch and it was 10:34 Central time. That was a trip!
Good morning Ron
I've been watching u for 10 years I've learned a lot
Amazed you weren't using comms. Well done and have a good Christmas. 🎄🎁🎁🎅
Good morning Pratt Family
Not your problem the equipment got stuck, they can cut out the bad section and patch. The wearing course will cover the patch.
Good morning from "frigid" New Hampshire
Hey, on the bright side you didn't meet your arc nemesis on this job :D
Safety is a big factor especially in this situation
There are to many variables thar could happen, via one step ata time

Praise the Lord great team work Ron you got a great crew. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU KEEP SAFE
"If it rolls it's Ethan's fault" LOL we both laughed Ron when we heard you say that. Good job everyone. Merry Christmas to all...🎄
Cn anyone answer where Mike is? I haven’t seen him in a while….
I am going to jump on Oscar's fandwagon 🙃 as well. He does damn well in thinking ahead. I think Ethan made a good call to just get 18 unhooked there at the end. Well Done Midwest!!
I'd asked him which was cheaper replace that little section or pay for the new truck I'm not as nice as you
Asphalt is easier to replace than a damaged truck
For the little bit you where on there it won't hurt plus they have another side to do so they will be able to match it in.
Muy bueno
Ron could use snach block on back rollor try side pull off roller as redirect
i LOVE your theory at 17 min in ;-)
Ron very good job enjoyed watching keep safe and God bless.merry Christmas to the whole family.🎄🎄🙏🙏

58:40 when you and the boss make eye contact
You know, if tables were turned and he was backing up your truck, he would have thought a lot differently about what he told you, Ron.
I know this is a job for the tator, the tator is such a cool truck & I know its fun to operate
Wow I was on the edge of my seat watching this one. Why is it every time a dump truck gets stuck it's in the worst possible position that could be😮
This is when you need, or at least want, cameras by the wheels showing exactly where the wheel actually is.
Probably could've put the pushers down towards the end if you were worried about that last little bit.
They should have left you on the new asphalt alt and fixed after. Would have saved a lot of time.
Hi fc from Bangkok
hi, im wondering if a rotator can pick up a 10,000 lb RV 24 footer 5th wheel from 20 ft away and move it 30 ft closer to rotator. I want to move the RV to build a house but no access to hook up truck. So im looking at options.
This strikes as a job where that beautiful new western star would have been real nice or a tandem tandem 9055
Never mind western star already there that rotator is a beast
I mean, you could've just left his truck in the ditch, instead of running on their precious asphalt.... No point getting g grumpy about it.
Ha I know a truck is not cheep but is there a smaller like a 50 ton rotator out on the market
A tricky one🫠🤴🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏿🙏🇬🇧
I cannot believe asphalt us worth that much money! It doesn't last long and potholes are common.
If it comes down between you or that road, they get to redo that road. It would be way cheaper to do that versus fixing the tator like you were saying…
Maybe if you had two rotators might have been easier.
Great team effort Ethan was spot on. He has learned well from one of the best recovery person ive had the privilege of viewing on UA-cam.
Ron _is_ the GOAT.
Watched
Well, u can change a tire while ur on the job
Working on fresh hot asphalt ain't no fun
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Just take your half out of the middle, problem solved
U needs mats to lay on to avoid skin issues
