The Warp-Grinder isn't too bad but the Warp-Fire and Ratling Guns are looking VERY dated so it would be good to give those a kitbash at some point.
The island of blood Warp Fire looks pretty good if you can get your hands on it. Please do the Ratling Gun

This was a cool conversion.
I made a squad of Space Skaven by using Storm Vermin heads, bodies, and arms, and adding on the guns with clawed hands from the Genestealer Neophyte kit. It is a nice quick, easy and effective kitbash.
I've done similar. Skaven/imperial guard heavy weapons team lol
I think that skavens are one of the most intresting fractions, also, more 40k skavens. Also, amazing video!
Yeah, GW are basically letting Mantic monopolise the market for space rats with their Veer-Myn range, which has some great models but considering how unique the Skaven were when they came out there's a real missed opportunity somewhere along the line
@@casanovafunkenstein5090 Some of the Veer-Myn stuff is okay, but it still doesn't have that Skaven vibe sadly. It would be interesting to see some "official" 40k Skaven. Even if they were just for Necromunda.
I'd love to see your attempt at a Maneater unit. With the amount of bits you must have lying around it should be an easy job, something in the vein of your Kill Team videos.
They would excellent to kitbash, they have such a variety of themes to choose from. Maybe some based on the different mortal realms.

I'd love to see more weapons teams like the warpfire thrower or rattling gun! maybe the one-manned rattling from Vermintide would be a cool change from the two-rat team sold by GW?

Would love to see a comparison between your model and the one you're replacing. Not a big deal if youre familiar with the model before seeing the video but for example, I've never even heard of this faction let alone the unit so a comparison to put things into perspective would be amazing
If I had some of the older models to hand I would have done, but maybe including a photo of them would have been helpful

With having costing up some jezzails this has given me so much hope as I have plenty of left skitarii weapons.
Made mine from a box of clanrats, 3D printed admech rifles and wooden bits. Best conversion I've done so far.

Brilliant! I hope Skaven get a line refresh soon, and if the Horned Rat bestows blessings then they will be a crossline between AOS and 40K, like how they did demons.

I think that Pete can do a great job converting a Ratling gun team! I suggest using the Aethermatic Volley Gun from the Arkanaut Company box.

Ive wanted to run Skryre forever but havent been sure how to approach the need to convert them to make them look more modern, a lot of these ideas will likely work for the other gun teams, but more videos on things like the ratling gunners or warpfire throwers would still be hugely appreciated!
Always love when we get to see fantasy/AoS videos. Gives me hope that one day you'll kit bash Felix Jager, so I can follow the steps and reunite him woth the newer Gotrek model the did recently.

It's pretty annoying that GW had plastic Warplock Jezzails (and a bunch of other stuff) back in 2010's Island of Blood, but then they just gave up on that.
No Jezzails in the Island of blood set, but a flamethrower and a plague mortar were included.
There were never any plastic jezzails. They had a poison wind globadier team and a flamethrower team. I agree though, it's really sad what they did to Island of Blood. I got super lucky and managed to snag about three skaven halves of the set in a few months, but sold two later due to lost interest. It's a great kit.
The clan rats from that kit came out as a separate set but it was a shame that we didn't see the characters and weapon teams get released separately too.

This is brilliant! It was my idea as well to use stormvirmine and the long rifle from the skitarii, but I intended to use a clan rat for the shield guy. This was terrific. Next, the other weapons teams, warp grinder, ratling warp fire thrower, and warp grinder.

Would love to see primaris Blood Jaguars or Obsidian Jaguars, aka Aztec space marines. Or maybe some converted saurus stuff like the Astrolith Bearer or Guards.

I love it! I've just got back in to collecting 40k after not playing since 2nd edition. I never played FB or Sigma but always loved skaven. My first ever minis were skaven I ordered from a white dwarf around 1989 when I was 8. Sadly i no longer have any of my old stuff. I've started buying a few skaven things just to collect and paint. I got the official warplock kits and like you say - they are metal and that weird bendy plastic stuff. I'm currently kit bashing a stormvermin kit with an imperial guard heavy weapons team just for amusement and they look hilarious!! The stormvermin kit is really cool in its own right.... less so the clan rats imo anyway. The only thing I'd personaly change about what you have done is to chop the magazine off that riffle....lol. ❤️ ❤️

Plague monks plus Sharti Ranger heads and backpacks work in a pinch but Pete could do it way better

Would love to see a kitbash for some imperial guard regimental advisors. Specifically Master of Ordnance and Officer of the Fleet. Not really a fan of the metal ones currently sold by GW and cant think of a decent kitbash myself. Eitherway look forward to more videos in the future!

I think the hole in the shield could’ve stayed with a few adjustments. You could’ve said that it remained as somewhere for the jezzail to poke out of to fire from a position of safety.

The finecast Jezzail were soooooo fiddly and broke so easy.
Please make a warpflame thrower, and a rattling gunner. Those are my 2 favorite enemies from Vermintide 2, and hate that they still have such old models. :(
I have been looking at Mantic Games Kings of War Ratkin Clawshots. They are resin but make five single figure models for $28.

More skaven please, all the old as balls units (gutter runners, globadiers, plague monks, etc?
A good build but, given the scarcity / cost of the rifle, for me I would have liked to see a build using alternative rifles, such as the Kroot one
As mentioned at the end of the vid, you can mash together some Galvanic Rifles to get a similar piece to this one. They're also a LOT more common, since you get about 10+ of them per Skitarii kit instead of 1 per kit like the Arquebus.
@@Ninjat126 that’s exactly what I was saying. Why not show the more cost effective build with the more readily available parts. I cannot see the build using the arquebus being more cost effective then buying the original models... Saying that, I think the conversion is still better looking than the originals, of which I have 10.
