This was their first event and they literally didnt think it would get THAT big, to the point of crashing the internet in that area. The events after this one did really improve

It's a shame. The game had potential to be, and at first was the beginning of a new Poke-mania. Niantic killed the game dead fully with this mess after 2 years of silence.

This was it. I mean this was suppose to be the beginning of something BIG. But it failed miserably, and I can’t help but feel really sad about that. Kudos to those who are just announcers who presented the CEOs, it’s their job and I salute them, cause I would’ve straight up left with teary eyes if I were them😭 Luckily the events after this did somewhat improved so that’s something I guess.
