"It isn't merely exposure to the rhetoric, it's the fact that post-hoc detection of such things as microaggressions are radically rewarded by the participants in those ideological systems." This is bang on. This is essentially quite basic psychology at play here: not only is there significant amounts of confirmation bias, but in a very real sense you've got classical conditioning going on. You could even describe it as Pavlovian in its simplicity: conformity to the ideology is rewarded, any dissent against it is punished. In some ways this is what makes it so terrifying: it's not as if they are attempting to employ any kind of complex psychology to induce compliance. They're really banking on people's innate need to belong here.
Religious bodies operated this way. DEI is just another power-hungry caste system with the postmodern priests proselytizing from their ivory towers, but instead of God and Satan, it's the oppressed and the white man. As dangerous as it is moronic, and yet timeless in human societies. We cannot escape these types, as per psychological dynamics in given populations always foment these conditions. Social contracts and classical liberalism afforded us some mitigation, but now with those things seemingly going the way of the dodo, there is nothing left to stem the tide of radicals such as these collectivist deconstructionists who are a powerful current iteration of this pattern, but certainly not the last. My main takeaway from all this is not only how the intelligentsia didn't attempt to resist this obvious Pavlovian trend, but rather WAS THE DRIVING FORCE. Until the education sector in the Anglosphere is completely liberated from this malaise, we cannot move forward as a society. Classical liberalism hangs on by a thread. If it a conservative movement, so be it, but there needs to be a counterweight to this proto-Maoistic way of thinking. We need a concerted effort to get conservative or common sense thinking back into schools and universities across the US, Canada, UK, NZ, and Australia. These countries have all been a victim of radical left and their simplistic views. Whether you believe or not, religious institutions, such as the DEI cult, do no belong in schools, government, or in our workplaces. Be it Christianity, Islam, or Wokism, they do not belong. The scary part is we as a society already had answers to these questions in the last century after millennia of differences led to countless atrocities. The enlightenment and classical liberalism was our attempt to outmaneuver what seemed like an inescapable fate of fear, hatred and warfare for our species. For some reason, many have chosen to ignore that history. Reading isn't as interesting as soundbites I suppose.
Just something to note. Dei is Latin for God. Like Agnus Dei or Gloria In Excelsis Deo. I used to sing choir music so I know these words by heart. I found it fascinating that DEI acts like a new religion and it calls itself god.

For anyone wondering, "Dei" means God in Latin. There are too many coincidences like this for my taste. Here is another one: The pro-choice guy's chanting "this is my body", with the intention of sacrificing children for their own ego's. Guess who else says "This is my body"? Jesus, as he sacrificed himself for the salvation of all mankind.
Good that you learned people all know what 'DEI' stands for. This Austrian had to look up the meaning: ''Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a concept and practice used by organizations to recognize and value differences among people, ensure fair opportunities for everyone and foster a work environment where all feel welcomed and respected.'' Ahh, silly me - grrrrrrrr.
There's great irony in leftists dismissing the existence of fringe Antifa radicals while simultaneously trying to convince us that the rainbow brigade comprises a much larger segment of the population.

Why are you worried about DEI which is a non-issue in the USA? It primarily benefitted white women based on historical numbers. WHAT ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT?
52% of American workers are receiving regular DEI trainings. How can you not be worried about political propaganda being forced on the majority of workers? Even if it doesn't have any direct negative consequences on America (which I highly doubt), it's at the very least currently destroying America's reputation on the global market. The rest of the world sees you as unprofessional bigots who cannot separate politics and personal beliefs from business. Even Chinese aren't so crazy about forcing their political beliefs on the rest of the world they're dealing with. Never heard about Chinese companies preaching communist values to their foreign business partners. But American companies are doing it constantly with DEI.
Do you really know what racist does it mean? You need to distinguish the conflict in your mind that you might have while talking with someone different than you and the intent to get rid or exterminate the other group. If i say that you are looking like gorilla that doesn't have anything to do with cousin someone harm. If i keep that for my self and act properly i still have the conflict in my mind but I will keep the distance to avoid conflict. And that's a step towards racism

Remember Jackie Robinson had to be SIGNIFICANTLY better to get any recognition. He worked harder than anyone on his team for significantly less.
Not much has changed in the broader currents of our society.
Yall basically just want to go back to a culture of exclusion again
Did you know that equity means human capital/ slavery.
Pastor Jordan Peterson is God. He knows it all.😊
Remember when they said Antifa was only an idea?

Who created dei? who pushed it on corporations and universities ?
The devil
@@ozarkliving7263 LMAO. You guys are so funny, I swear. I would be laughing more if there weren't so many of you so it wouldn't be a serious problem for me.
Soros and the globalists.
"they then" @ 2:53 seems like a future defensive bio pronoun
So the race baiter first baited Dorsey? 🤔
Jordan B Peterson Did you receive my email?
... just like the moderate Right is in denial of the far Right ....
Maybe it’s time that Jordan B Peterson steps into politics. Do you agree with me?
Not a CHANCE he would do that to himself and his family!
He's had enough challenging Canadian government and the progressive education institutions. A Canadian hero and national treasure. 🇨🇦
He isn’t going to make a life-changing decision based on the random opinions of random strangers on the internet and I really cannot understand why anyone would think he would. He’s a public figure, not a puppet of popular opinion.
@@AFringedGentianToEnnien You are right. But it is a interesting comment. That i posted. That’s why you responded. 😮😊
Try post vedio ❤🎉🎉
Jordan B Peterson. I’m gonna buy a statue of you. You are one of the smartest people of Canada. Get rid of president Truedeau. He is talking with President Trump. To make Canda a state of America 🇺🇸 the 51 state. Because he screwed up. Save the independence of Canada 🇨🇦 and threw him out.
Canadian people read this.
Do it bro
@@sirc1446Thanks bro!!
the glaze 💀
I would definitely come to see the statue.
The professional victim mindset has been stamped into are youths through the education industrial complex.. 🚮💨
Why Dr. Peterson, your brooch. Or pin or whatever. That’s Beaker from the Muppets mapped onto our President-elect! As himself might say, that is SEVERE! It gave me a giggle today.
What's he eating? Caramel?
A **cultural diversity assessment** is a tool used to evaluate an individual's or organization's cultural competence and awareness. It helps identify strengths and areas for improvement in understanding and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. The assessment typically includes questions or statements that prompt reflection on one's attitudes, knowledge, and skills related to cultural diversity.
Would you like to know more about how to conduct a cultural diversity assessment or its benefits? - Co-Pilot
Bah haha 😂. Okay racist.
@@jamesdodge7941 ? I don't understand that conclusion based on a comment that only quotes AI ?
@nuqwestr well I guess some ai is racist. Is Co-pilot an llm?
For anyone wondering, "Dei" means God in Latin. There are too many coincidences like this for my taste. Here is another one: The pro-choice guy's chanting "this is my body", with the intention of sacrificing children for their own ego's. Guess who else says "This is my body"? Jesus, as he sacrificed himself for the salvation of all mankind.
take ur meds
Good that you learned people all know what 'DEI' stands for. This Austrian had to look up the meaning: ''Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a concept and practice used by organizations to recognize and value differences among people, ensure fair opportunities for everyone and foster a work environment where all feel welcomed and respected.'' Ahh, silly me - grrrrrrrr.
Division Exclusion and Inequity. That's it's purpose, that's what it does.
@marktyler3381how exactly?
There's great irony in leftists dismissing the existence of fringe Antifa radicals while simultaneously trying to convince us that the rainbow brigade comprises a much larger segment of the population.
Oh we are? Pretty sure everyone knows why we're called minorities.

You think you're so smart, but you understand so little about certain subjects you discuss, and for some reason behave like an expert on said subjects. This isn't specifically applicable to this video, but do some research on your other topics discussed, especially concerning Ayn Rand.
As much as I admire Jordan Peterson, I can’t comprehend why he doesn’t denounce a pathological lying criminal narcissist like Donald Trump.
I thought he was a professor in psychology??
Are you Muslim or Christian mr jordan p peterson
You Forgot Jewish
Watch his videos. He is a Christian and has been open about it.
I’m pretty sure he’s Hindu
@@hopelove1595 he's never made any statement avowing a personal belief in Jesus. You are incorrect.
The state of modern people is atrocious. I would love to go back to 1990-2007 era. That or the 40s.
