Just listed to your episode on Real Estate Rookie and came straight here. I find what your doing with these domes and glamping so fascinating! I hope to get into real estate investing as soon as I’m financially able but I really enjoyed hearing about your journey. I’m your 890th sub woohoo🎉 🤗
Thank you for the support! Wishing you big success
My first dome but definitely not my last! Come check it out www.cameronranchglamping.com
Ps I also made the music for this video. My day job is a music producer lol
Holy wow that’s an awesome presentation
How you price that Garrett for a nightly stay.
You have a BIG investment to recoup
Best to you fella…Glamp on!
Thanks as always Steve! It ranges from $229-349 a night. Hoping to hit $299-399 after more upgrades. It’s going well so far and we’re in it for the long haul.
Fantastic you rock
Hey there! I'm also in Texas and have been thinking about getting a dome from Pacific Domes. I came across your channel and wanted to ask: does the dome get really hot when the AC isn't running in the spring and summer? Do you think it's worth not investing in insulation? How has the dome been holding up overall since you built it? Thanks, love all your content.
Any thoughts on a 30 to 40 foot diameter dome for a glamping site like this? Considerably larger than the 24 footer in the video, but I've noticed that the price difference between sizes is rather minimal from some manufacturers... just wondering if that might be overkill.
You aren’t wrong. My main reason for not going bigger was it’s my first dome build. The bigger the dome, the more everything else costs as well though. Every mistake I made would have been 2x more expensive. Small example; I was able to put this up with 2 massive ladders. If it would have been bigger, I would have had to possibly a rent more equipment (scaffolds or cherry picker) to do everything else. I didn’t have any clue and putting the tarp on was so tough already. All the cabinets get more expensive, flooring, tile, framing, etc. I am now confident to tackle a bigger one and be more prepared budget wise.
@@GarrettbrownRE True that, thanks for the insight!
