I have a 1914 and most of what you are talking about. The doubling is not as defined but they have been sitting in my Grandma’s jar for a lifetime. Most are very clean. I better learn how to sell them. Thanks for all the info you share.

I'm fairly new at collecting also or well kinda ..I just started collecting again somewhere around August of last year (2017) because of a bad life decision I made like ten million times in a row (drugs) but I use to collect coins way back in my younger days (16-20) but got on drugs and lost everything and I got clean and starting collecting again.. anyhow I'm glad to be back colland relearning alot of this stuff and for you being new at collecting then just stay subscribed to Justin ... He's very knowledgeable of these coins and makes it fun to look for certain varieties or well just about anything he shows he makes it interesting... OMFG DAMN I’ve came across the close AM ones before with the same wear in the other letters I should of kept them seeing as I could of gotten thousands for them
I got a few 1943 copper pennies but i still not sure if there really worth anything and i also have a 1943 steel pennie probably worth nothing

I ha e a 1964 penny and it's good on front side and on reverse looks like a bomb went off letters scattered around the coin and on the rim and looks like been brush painted by the mint how do I get a value

I have 2 1976 quarters bicentennial no mint mark. They look like they have never been circulated. I also have a roll of 1976 quarters bicentennial D mint. I'm new to this. Any suggestions?

I have a 1919 penny that has the one cent sign on the back and I would like to know if it is worth anything because it is from 1919
I've got a 1981 that looks to be copper plated zinc. I scratched it like that 1943 copper had been done to reveal the silver looking metal beneath the copper.

Hey Justin and nice video lots of support. I'm actually glad you done this video cause I had a question… Why is the 1945 No Mint Mark wheat penny not as desirable? I know there is a 28 year difference between the 1917 and 1945 but I would feel with only 1,040,000 produce that the 1945 No Mint Mark would bright some desire and premium with more high graded examples.

I found a 2004 Denver Minted Lincoln Penny with the initials VDB on the collar. I am curious if anyone knows more information about this coin because I have looked everywhere and cannot find ANYTHING about another coin of this kind.
The second one I have he's very very good condition it's a copper-colored 57d.

I have an old Penney that was in my collection from my grandfather who doubled die.

Couch Collectibles- I know this video is from 6+ months ago so I hope you'll still see this :) I am completely new to this and am just wondering, how likely is it for someone to have a coin that is worth money in their possession at some point? If I started analyzing my change from this now on, do you think it would be very likely that at some point in time I may come across a rare coin worth some money? I'm going to watch some more of your videos and find out what I should be looking for!
Thanks for watching! Rare coins are called rare because they are rare lol. So there is really no way to know the chance of finding one. It's all luck. The good thing is you can find error coins that are worth $30 or $50 in rolls if you search a lot of coins. I've found errors coins on my live streams as well as silver coins, proof coins, etc.

My grandfather was a Coin collector, he passed his collection to me a few years ago. I never was interested in coin collecting while growing up. When I received my Grandfathers collection, oh my goodness...I became so into it! I'm 57 and have been a "beginner" collector for 2 years now. I have memories of coming across really cool and sometimes strange looking coins while growing up and WOW, I wished I would have known to save those coins! Who knows what I've let slip through my hands in my 57 years! I'm learning so much from you, your channel, website and videos. Actually my whole family, my friends, my co-workers & neighbors learn from your videos too! I want to take a moment to say "Thank you" and I genuinely mean it because you are good at what you do! Your video content is...to the point, you don't ramble on. It's easy to understand your point and you speak precise and clearly without background music to distract people. You keep the videos short and each videos layout is "on point"(if that makes sense). Anyway...you rock! On the 1st Tuesday of the month, every month, my friends & family gather at my house (because we have a media room) for "Taco Tuesday's with Couch collectibles". What gets me is these coin stores should know. I have one and they in a small town in Texas say you coin experts are lieing. Say you all are trying to fool us.
Coin shops usually focus on buying gold and silver. You have to have a good error for them to buy it.
Yes, and I have plenty. But small prejudice towns like this one don't care. They don't care what you coin experts say. They say you people are lieing, just trying to make a name for your selves.

Actually, the nickel penny was made in 1909. The original penny was 100% copper, they are Indian pennies , very rare, Google it.
