- There are so many more details in this trailer… So many comments on the previous video have made me look deeper and harder at every nook and cranny, and boy - did I find even more stuff… And even now - I have more to tell you - in another video that I hope to make for next week.

It's funny, but large bodied, small winged dragons have always bothered me... I am so looking forward to this game.
I mean - a cartoon dragon with large body and tiny wings - that works, because it is cartoon. But an immersive game - immersion can be lost for different reasons, and it's quite subjective, I think.
We all eagerly await this game.

What if I told you that these dragons control exactly like the ships in NMS? Because they do. HG has changed nothing of the controls, they are exactly the same.
Yeah, we've seen those take-offs that look the same as NMS starships. That is definitely an indication that makes us think the game is less ready than we wished.

I certainly hope not! As I said in a comment elsewhere, I hope the ability to fast travel great distances is severely limited. I hope it takes a VERY long time for the world to be even roughly mapped, let alone completely explored. It would be sad to make something so grand and then make it simple to explore all of it. Please don't make that mistake, #HelloGames.
I agree, and therefore would suggest that such devices would be limited to getting you to specific pre-created places. Like summoning the Anomaly in NMS.
I'd assume you would have to discover the spot to fast travel to it like most games
Otherwise it would ruin the exploration... So I agree.
If the world is the same size as Earth it won't be fully explored for a long time. There are still places on Earth where no human has walked and there are billions of us and we have been here for thousands of years! People underestimate how huge real planets are. But I agree about the fast travel. :)

Thanks! We're so hyped... I spent so much of my (not very abundant) free time creating and editing these 2 videos, that when I told a friend that "Light No Fire" took all of my free time, his response was - "What do you mean LNF took all of your time are you playing it? How? Do tell...", and he got disappointed when I explained that I'm not playing it yet, of course.

In regards to the title, i think its a homage and reference to LOTR and fantasy games. Lighting a fire while on a dangerous quest gives your location away,.. remember when frodo stamps out the camp fire?
Are you referring to the cooking fire Sam made in Ithilien, whence they are discovered by Orcs? Or was there another fire during the joint voyage of the fellowship of the ring?
I think he's referring to the fire the hobbits lit that Aragorn stamped out right before the ring wraiths attacked.

@aeriagloris4211 this is not my way... If you check my other videos you'll see that I take great care to mention every source I have taken information from. In this video, I did my research, but there's no way I could watch every video that was out there when I recorded mine. I'm sorry you think that of me and my content and I'm sorry if someone else thinks I copied information.

Not to be a party pooper, but I’m not entirely convinced that’s a plane. I can see what you mean about looking like a row of windows though-maybe it’s a collapsed tower?

I understand, and agree it is unlikely to be an airplane, but this was my initial unfiltered reaction when I happened to pause on that frame. Plus the hexagon bubble, I was sure it's a plane for all of 10 seconds. I decided to go with my initial, gut reaction, despite knowing it's unlikely.

Hi! Thanks for your video man, nice content and great editing. About the whole airplane thing is just the light under the water effect over some rocks (think of the bottom of a swimming pool and how the light refracts over the surface)

Hmmm... Anyone heard about hieroglyphs that presents a helicopter? It turns out that multiple layers of text was writen in the same spot and eventually it creates something that modern man can associeate with a attack helicopter.
I really hope its the same thing here when murky water, distance, terrain and flora creates this airplane fuselage shape.
Actually I'm pretty sure it isn't really an airplane. But when I pause the video on that specific frame that got the hexagon showing, I had an immediate reaction that felt like it's an airplane submerged in the water. That's why I thought it was and that's why I made the video centered on this because it really does look like that to me and maybe to others as well. That was my immediate and honest gut reaction at the moment I saw it so I hope you will forgive the clickbait like title.

I dont think its going to release in early access. They specifically stated in the past that they wont talk about games until theyre ready. Theyre going to want to release it as a full game. Ill be willing to bet the ESRB rating will happen in January, and then theyll drop the game fully on pc xbox and ps in Feb.
I would like that too. You may be right, and I still think there are benefits to the early access model, especially on Steam, that can make things much easier for them. The fact that there's no certification process for fixes, for one thing, can allow them to get fixes in faster, like they do many times for NMS, and I think they might use this before spending huge lumps of coin on certification, or the ESRB rating.
Just my guess, but I'd be happy if proven wrong and the game releases Jan/Feb like you say.
I'm pretty sure it won't be out before the next NMS update, though.

The shields will be used to open new areas on the map/planet. Find the shield and take it to that big guy and a new area will be open to explore.
Interesting idea, and a good one. And let me just for a second take this to extremes and say that a shield makes for a very big key 🤣

In the flaming sword scene the large crab like creature has Dissonant coloured eyes, there are also smaller crabs closer to the character. I got serious Corrupted sentinel vibes when I saw this.

Hmmm... Let me think - if this is a sequel, then clearly in one of the iterations where you decide to reset the simulation, the Atlas creates this world instead of a whole new Universe, right?
Or do you see another way this can happen?

@ggfnmsvids Yeah that, from what I remember, the Atlas was dying, getting sucked into a black hole(?), time passed extremely slowly in the simulation.
I'm going off that maybe the Atlas survived it, idk too much about the lore rho
NMS has a lot of lore, there is a lot of reference to ancient times and even the begining of space travel. I am thinking Light No Fire could be the same universe as NMS, just far earlier in the time line. Just as on earth society and technology has went from stone age to outer space, NMS cover the universe at a much later time, LNF may cover the exact same universe at an earlier time. Same Atlas, maybe even the same species. There are lots of travelers encountered in the game who are not Vykeen, Gek or Korvax.

They won't. They didn't even create flight mechanics for the mounts. They are the same controls as NMS flight.

I feel like that building with the rabbits looks a lot like the ancient ruins in No Man's Sky.

Will there only be one planet or can you have a private server than can generate it's own unique planet?
It is unclear exactly how, because HG aren't telling, but of you look at the Steam page it says Single player, as well as Co-op multiplayer. How and what that means if you're going to a location where others have built things in multiplayer modes? Unknown for now...

About those 'artifacts' in the maybe guildhall.
If the metal balls suggest that those float, then i would assume that these objects would be related to flying structures, like the flying island we see.
And the thing that takes my emersion away the most are the connections to NMS and the concept of simulation.
I really hope that the similarities are solely contributed it being a small studio, and not to the 2 games being connected.
My guess for a release date is October November.
I base this on them saying it would be a great year for NMS. I think they wont want to divide the community. And would rather use the hype generated by a great NMS year as marketing for this game.
I definitely think they'll wait until after the next NMS update, which is why I thought February for a pre-release / early-access option on Steam. But your guess is as good as mine, maybe even better.

The furry's aka animal characters mess up my experience they have to look more humanoid than animal more realistic or have a rocket tipe of personality for me to get into it I'll have to see gameplay of this before I buy another thing that ruins the game for me is restricted building if I can't build how and what I want I'm not going to buy it

I always play survival but I build a lot all of my builds on steam under Rhean vaus are in survival so the freedom to build is very important to a large part of the community similar to space engineers and 7days or valhime

I like the content. But.... please please drink some water before narration or adjust mike settings. Sounds like cotton mouth and many spit noises.
It's really distracting. Not as bad as someone eating on mic chewing like a goat but it's in that territory. I won't stop watching because of it as I know
I have a very low threshold for those kinds of mouth noises, so please understand I share this to be constructive. If it can't be helped then so be it but it would be nice if it could be filtered or something. Thumbs up on content and subscribed.
I appreciate your honesty. It is time that I get a better microphone... And until I do, I'll spend as much time as needed finding a good enough filter...
