- Camera Comparison between the brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra against its predecessor the S23 Ultra!
Some important thing to notice:
1. Every daylight picture is taken in auto mode without adjusting any of the settings and they are being displayed without edits!
2. Videos are recorded at 4k@30fps!
3. All pictures during night are taken with night mode enabled with automatic seconds!

S23U Best and image with much more detail in daylight👍In the video you say that the images are similar but it's not true the detail (tree leaves for example) is much better in the S23U

No reason to upgrade to S24 from a S23.

Not at all. I think the s23 is better except for the higher nits on the s24. I'm coming from a s20 though

It genuinely surprises me how closer than close these two devices are in both photo and video performance. They were swapping wins with each other in all your categories to my eye. Some people say the exposure on the S24 Ultra is too high in photos especially, but this was not evident in your pictures. At 10x zoom and above in daylight, the S23 Ultra shows better detail, but the 24U does run it quite close to be fair. In night zoom shots, I would actually give the nod to the 24U. Which surprised me a little. Two fantastic devices for sure. Own either and you are laughing.

Word of advice if you haave the s23 ultra do not update the software. They might downgrade the camera to justify the s24ulra
Thats exactly what they've done to s21 ultra and s22 ultra🙃, i will not update my phone till it gets double update available😅
I think the same thing too. For some reason, in the comparison of S22ultra and S23ultra, there were photos with the same grain after the S22ultra received the software update. For some reason, it seems as if a software update was being made with the update before the S24 ultra was released, which we did not notice, but which worked against the S23 ultra in the tests. We will see when the S25 Ultra comes out and the same things will happen to the S24 Ultra. We will take photos and videos containing grain with the S24 Ultra. Even with very small lenses, 10x is better than 5x in terms of mathematics and physics. I think it's just the software that messes things up. So continue with S23 ultra. Thank you for your effort mate.

2:27 the s24U has less contrast and is a little more washed out on this photo
zoom performance at 30x and more in daytime is indeed better on the s23u... but it is true that in terms of versatility, it is better to have the 5x that can goes to 10x as an "optical like" quality than have the big gap between 3x to 10x
PS : PLEASE ADD NON NIGHT MOD PHOTOS DURING NIGHT TIME
nobody uses night mod all the time at night, and it does completly change the aspect of the scene and denatures the photos
PLEASE add NON NIGHT MOD photos during night time for your next tests, it is really needed, I don't understand why so much testers do not add this
furthermore it will just make your tests a little more in depth and overall better
anyway thanks for your work, very good tests and videos, but please add non night mod photos (and even compare night mod and non night mod photos !)
Try using the Pro Mode with ISO, Aperature and shutter speed set accoridngly. There's where the difference really is
wait for the system update on the s24 ultra that fixes the camera and the screen colors and do the test again.

Just after a week i switch from s23U tl s24U, i pref the s24U cam esp the front cam, more natural/ not as saturated as 23U. Majprity 24U

Portraits and skin are yellow on the s23 while a bit pinkish on the s24 which seems more pleasing.

I went for S23 Ultra from S20 Ultra. S23 is mostly the same as S24 but 500 Euro cheaper and not so bright screen. But I am disappointed as a whole. Besided better camere S23 did not impress me a lot compared to S20 Ultra. Even with S Pen.
S23 Ultra has better camera performance.

You don't say how many pixels you set each camera.. I guess default settings. S23 has only 10mp while s24 50mp. Plus honestly who uses x10 and x100 in real life come on..for my experience x3 & x5 is more than enough on 99% of real life situations. I don't know why all the UA-camr waste so much time taking about telescope camera which wider public will never use.
Do you know how to distinguish a corrupt blogger or not? Are they advertising the right model for money or is this a truly objective review? The answer is simple: if only some specific photos are involved in the comparison, without the most basic examples, for example, daytime photos on the main camera (without enlargement), that is, there is nothing that we use in 99 percent of cases, then this is a custom review, and the blogger is corrupt. This is not a review, but a shame. They showed some of the strengths of the new model, but comparisons of the base camera in main mode without zoom - no! Why? Did you watch the entire video? I praised the S23 Ultra many times. I said that when it comes to zoom it is still the better choice and at the end of the video I said do not upgrade! Why am I corrupt? I bought the S24 Ultra with my own money and I clearly said an upgrade isn't worth it!

@@garry-zloy You shouldn't be that angry, it is for your own good. In my full review of the S24 Ultra I said you should get the S23 Ultra instead because they are almost the same. And besides why am I biased? Both are Samsung phones and I bought them both with my own money.
