Hi Kristyn - I am compelled to thank you for this fabulous video. I am 66 years old and spent most of my life thinking I had slightly wavy hair! Since I started using the curly girl method several years ago, I've realised that I have 2b/2c curls with some 3as. My curl pattern is very similar to yours. I have been trying to get this kind of curl/volume forever and this is the first video I have found that achieves the look I want, and following it I have got my desired result. THANK YOU!!!!! I am now subscribed to your channel and love your other videos. You have changed my life, darling girl!!
Thank you for being straight forward without wasting our time with blabbing on x
your hair and face are seriously something else! so pretty
Yesss girl! I’m diffusing mine as I watch this, perfect timing! Thank you 🙏🏻
I've literally been searching for a way to properly dry me hair without getting frizz for YEARS!!
This is the only thing that works...honestly I'm amazed.
Blown away. Shocked. I've had to live with my hair in a tight ponytail for the better part of my life, but how I can wear it down with confidence!
Thank you so much! This means a lot 😍
BTW:
Your hair and your skin are both absolutely GORGEOUS 💕!!
You're amazing. You are one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, ever anywhere!
I hope that blessing never fades away for you and that you and your loved ones are happy, safe, and healthy!
Again, thank you so much 😘
I just diffused my hair for the first time ever in 20 odd years. Followed your video and got stunning results! my wash day hair has never been so great, diffusing is part of my new wash day routine now! Thank you so much for this video, so helpful!
What do you do with your hair when going to sleep?
Thank you! My hair is the same length as yours with 3a curls. I want volume over length and your technique is just right for me. So grateful to have found your video. 😊
Thank you so much. I always dried my hair straight, did not even realize how curly my hair was until recently. I was struggling with using a diffuser to get it looking the way I wanted it to until I saw this video. Today is the first day I love my curls thanks to your video!
woww! your hair looks SO lovely!! thanks for the tips!
You have the most gorgeous curls ever!! :O
I bet you do too!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been following directions for more type 2c and curlier hair, but I have a 2 A/B pattern and this worked SO MUCH BETTER.
Hi Kristyn! Great video, as always! 🙂 you are so pretty and your hair is amazingggg!!! (Again and again 🙂😉). You are also so cool and so is your hair!! I loveeeee watching you doing things with it! By the way, I love the fact that you are keeping it "messy" and not "standing" on the place. That's beautiful! I love it!! 🙂💖
Angel face 😇😭💫❤️ hair is obvi everything too!!! 🙌🏻
Such beautiful hair! Thank you for this!
Yay this was the only defuse tutorial I found with someone with my hair type, thank yooouuuu!! :D
Loved it. It helped me a lot. Thank you.
Gorgeous hair!! 💛
I really liked this tutorial! Easy, Quick and to the point. I've seen a lot of different techniques but I will definitely try this one. I think we are the same hair type so Hopefully this will work well on my hair. Excited to try difusing for the first time 😅
You seriusly have the prettiest curls I've seen :)
Your hair is goals!
We have the same hair type and I simply can’t get my hair this voluminous. I just had my last haircut and it was cute but I don’t think she did as many layers as necessary, maybe
Yes maybe. Did you try switching your products you use to wash your hair as well
If you had the same hair type then your hair would be voluminous too.
Same here!
You could have thicker hair I have ridiculously thick hair and my hair has not got a lot of volume due to the weight of it
@@rhiannonmay6738 the problem is solved by getting a shorter shaped cut with some layers.
Your curls are so wonderful😍😍
Brooo your hair is sooooo pretty!!! 😭
Is it even possible for someone to have such pretty hair😍
It's just an ideal hair for me😍
Vielen lieben Dank 🙏... Hat auch bei mir zu schönen definierten Locken geführt ❤
Thank you so much! I just realized I was weighing my hair down because I wasn’t taking my shirt to it after it was 50% dry.
So pretty!
Wish she said what products she uses!
What hair dryer and diffuser to you use? What products - shampoo, conditioner, gel? Love the way your hair turned out. You should have a before and after pic! Amazing and beautiful!
I was wondering the same because I can't get my hair like hers. Even though I did what she did. I know hair products have a lot to do with it so hopefully she responds.
Awesome curly hair !
Wow just gorgeous
Love it !!!!!
Oh my gosh, thank you! I am 68 and just began to love my curly hair 2 years ago, after a lifetime of straightening my hair,. What is the towel you mention? Can you share what products you use to wash etc?
Very pretty hair!
Liked your red but the Blonde curls are Awsome😊
Gonna try this method soon
excellent and to the point
Omg that’s cute. Like really cute.
She's an angel.
Looks good Kirsty
Great video! 💯
Gorgeous! Does your Conair diffuser attachment work with other brand of hair dryer? I really like the one you're using.
U literally have the same hair as mine just that mine is a problem, love your curls btw
Dream curls!!!!
Thank you I hope I can do this
Your hair is so cute I wantttt
I seriously smiled 2 seconds in and was like "omgosh her hair looks just like mine when it's drying😀" I can't even tell you the struggle it's been to try and figure out the best way to style my hair- seeing yours look like mine in the beginning was just a relief lol
Glad I could be of help! 💕 I felt the same way. That no one really has my type of hair. So I understand!
Hi Kristyn! Gorgeous curls! I love watching your videos. Can you elaborate a little more on exactly what you're doing with your hands when you said you stick them in at the roots to get bigger clumps and avoid stringy curls please? Thanks!
I really don’t do anything too special. I just spread my fingers a little and stick them into my hair right against my scalp and then press the diffuser up to my hand. I don’t move my hand or anything. For some reason I feel like it plumps my curls a bit for me. It may not work the same for everyone else but that’s the result it ends up giving me.
Cool! Looks like Madona in the 90's!
Finally found someone with a similar curl pattern to mine 😭🥳
Very nice! You have beautiful hair. My hair is hip length and I just can't seem to get diffusing right. Maybe it would help if I had layers. My hair takes FOREVER to diffuse even on high heat and due to my disability I can't hold my head upside down for very long.
Yes! Try some layers! 🤗 i bet that would help ya out. Plus, when I got more layers my curls loved having all that weight removed 🙌🏻 i completely understand!
Your curls look great! What is the name of the towel you mention at 1:45 in the video??
You hair looks lovely, my curls are very similar to yours but right Noe my hair is growing and Doesnt has the length that it needs to work with it. What kind of haircut do you have?
I have a Devacut :)
Beautiful! I always wanted to have a
super afro-like voluminous curls but I have thick 2A-B curls 😢
I'm gonna try this technique, I hope to get a little more volume ☺️
Hi! Watching this from the Netherlands. Do you do anything to keep this volume during the day? Hairspray?
can you provide information as to what diffuser and dryer you use, please?
what should I order to get the same haircut?😊
Can you tell us (show us!) some details about your haircut? I want to steal it. :-)
Do you use a particular product on your hair before drying??
it looks so effortless for you man i have no idea how to do this for mine 😪
Your hair is just to beautyfull. I couldn't do that. I'd end up with an afro, almost. Texture, I guess.
Thank you, anyways. Love your hair. ❣️
Looks like iconic Marilyn Monroe hair in real life luv it ✨
What products do you use when you diffuse your hair?
Can I ask what you do the next day. I'm assuming you don't style like this every day. When you get up in the morning what's the routine? No comb? How do you keep it looking that way?
Your hair looks the same as mine wet but I’ve never diffuses before. Right now it’s like wavy and then tight curly other places, I hope diffusing will helps make it all curly
It can absolutely help. Air drying stretches my pattern out while diffusing keeps it bouncy and Volumized.
Do your curls stay overnight, mine always flatten
Do you use any products before?
What type of brand and model is this diffuser?
😍😍😍😍
What diffuser do you use?
Your curls are my curl goals! Did you use any hair products before you starting drying? I watched twice and didn't see you or hear you mention using any but in your description you mention the bounce me curl cream. I have high porosity hair so I cannot imagine not using products...I feel like I'd be a frizzy mess lol
Yup bounce me curl cream from design me is the product used here.
I heard using a pick at the back works to pull them out more. Would you recommend it?
J Kyutoキュート 日本人?
Do you put a product on a super wet hair ? And how much
When my hair is short, it's curly, but when it's long it's slightly wavy, i wonder if it would be curlier if i used a diffuser
What kind of towel? Kameestry?
Plz plz someone tell me which products she ised before diffusing??
What products do you use on your hair
what diffuser do u use?
Amazing how you get such uniform curl, mine go and all directions. Do you think it’s from the cut or have you somehow trained your curls with finger coiling..
I definitely feel like it helped! I had to figure out what sections on my head wanted to curl what direction. My transitioning pieces I still have underneath still go a lot of different directions. My top is the most consistent for me still 👍🏻
i believe my hair is the same or not more curly as yours. but i always end up with some frizz when i diffuse my hair😭 idk how to do it properly bcs this is the first time i give attention to my hair
Products used?
What hair color you use?
You should tell us what product you used for styling
wonder woman yes, I’d love to know!
Me too! I'm on a quest to find great curl products that won't weigh down fine wavy/curly 2b/2c with a few 3a curls.
Oh and budget conscious too.
Do you think something like this would work with hair that reaches to about the middle of your back?
Avery Powell diffusing is for all lengths i believe!
Yes but it won’t give as much volume, cuz the hair weights down
Hi! I was wondering, can you do this after using a curl cream? I use cantu shea curl activater, wondering if I can still do this?
Yup! In the description it lists the curl cream I used. 👍
Your gorgeous. That’s all.
Do you ever try all your routine, and Do not put the diffuser on IT? Just air dry and see the results?
I don’t understand what you mean by cast. I thought that was from gel but I didn’t see you put gel in, right?
i have a question, are we supposed to brush curly hair when it’s like dry? Cuz my curls are like yours and sometimes when I brush it, the curls becomes a bit wavy?
Anonymous no never brush
Stephanie Victoriano so I just use my fingers?
Only brush your hair when it’s wet! Don’t touch it with a brush or your fingers when it’s dry! It breaks the curl pattern and you can’t fix it unless you wash it again. Curly hair can only be styled when wet!
should I add oil and stuff before or after this part? xx
I only add oil after. I don't usually add oil on wet hair just dry :) just my personal preference.
What blow dryer do you use and where did you get your diffuser ?
Is this done Every day? :/ or once-twice a week
I'm guessing once/twice a week 😕
I have the same curl type but longer hair and this made my hair barely wavy and so so so frizzy. Lots of root volume though. Just definitely not for me
Naturally when I let it air dry I have a really tight s shape wave, but some of them are little spirals will this work for me?
emaly rivera this will definitely work for you!
@@Nietbelangrijkk thanks :)
what diffuser do you use?
Yes I would like to know too
Conar x
Do we need the black thing you have on your dryer?
Yes, you need the diffuser
Looks like we found a newb🙂
Shar Roon OOF 😭😂
That’s the DIFFUSER lol
Marilyn Monroe ! 🤩
Hi Kristyn, what does a “cast“ mean ?
Where the hard hardens and feels crunchy
Ok. Thank you 😃
