I'm so glad you read Annie Bot - and yeah Doug was the woooooorst. As someone who has previously been in an emotionally abusive relationship (he was also the wooooorst) I identified so many things in that book, even though Annie was a robot/ai it still absolutely resonated with me. I do wish the ending would have been maybe a little bit more drawn out/detailed with an epilogue or something - a sequel might be interesting. I do agree with you on the chapters though, they really could have been split into smaller sections.
I've seen so many people enjoy Wild Love so I'm gonna have to add it to my TBR, between that and the swift & saddled books I guess I'm entering my cowboy smut era. 😂

Ahhh I'm so so happy with how Quicksilver went for you. I still think about it daily. I feel like it's one even non-romantasy readers could enjoy since the world, plot, and magic system elements are so strong.
