Time for a home made version of this Greggo . Would be good to see the cost difference as well doing home made.
Too easy. Get some fresh chicken tenders from aldi, some Vietnamese baguettes, raguletto napolitana sauce and some parmesan.

Hey Greggo love your work. I find with all those frozen burger and rolls you heat in the tray work a heap better if you zap in one of those good ol' brown paper bags, it seems to keep the bread soft. Doesn't make them good but does make em better.

Ive done enough munchies runs to the petrol stations back in the 80s and 90s to know exactly how this was gonna turn out lol ..im sure the petrol stations do better food these days . Not sure coz i dont smoke anymore 😅

Hi Greg. Do you ever venture on the northside of brissy at all? There's a butcher in Burpengary called 'The Squeeling Pig', that sells the most amazing roast rolls. My go to is the pork roll with gravy. The thing is massive and is only $10. The best pork roll ive ever had. They also do homemade pies, sauage rolls and burgers. Well worth a look if your out that way.

Products where you can remove the bun and toast it separately aren't so bad. But frozen stuff you microwave altogether. Nah, the bread is always terrible.

Mate all of those on the menu boxes I found have to be deforested first unfortunately. They seem to come out a bit better with a lower nuke time so the bread roll doesn't harden up

I find that with these kinds of On The Menu products are more edible if you just open the end of the bag and leave it in there when heating, and also only heating for 2 minutes, works better. They are still bad, but the bread is usually less tough and not dry.

Good old microwaveagingle food...washed down with a six pack of your favourite brew...now that's living it up Greggo.
let me tell you a trick about these things that are in the freezer and you heat them up with in 2 1/2 minutes. The trick is to leave them in the bag and just puncture a small hole in either end of the bag and then the steam heats it better throughout and also the steam softens the bun and it never goes hard. Trick is to leave it in the plastic bag and just puncture a couple holes in it.
The trick is to poke a hole in it then throw it the fuk in the bin while you still have some dignity.

I remember when this brand used to be 2 bucks for pretty much everything. Now its gone up in price and I don't know if its my bogan-ass childhood nostalgia, but I swear their burgers aren't as good as they used to be either :v
I would never bother with microwave stuff like this, what I would do though in an emergency is air fryer it once microwaved. Crispin that bad boy.

Nice one, saves me from doing a jaw exercise. I liked the "It tasted alright" or "It is edible,but only just". Kinda like when I review a drink I don't really like , "Well, it's wet".
