The price difference between those small pizzas is kind of wild.
It’s gotta be a regional thing because the same small Papa John’s pizza at my location is $12.79. I had to go check cause I was like whatttt
Most people don't order small pizzas but there's always got to be some weird choices made in these episodes
U‘d never buy a single pizza - they have „deals“ where you get them at normal prices. We always get a deal with 2 Medium pizzas and 2 sides for 25£, these deals are always available

It’s also California prices, I’ve lived in multiple states and Cali just goes wild with prices haha
Dominos' pizza box was soaked through with grease because of the 'Garlic Oil' they squirt all over the crust, it soaks into the crust so you don't really see it when it gets to your door, but the excess all drips down into the box and soaks it, every time.

Yea that’s wild to me, idk if it’s a California thing or just the regular prices at these joints without coupons. But every time I order dominoes I just use their online coupons and get a large 3 topping pizza for $7.99. So it’s wild to me that they got a small for nearly $14
I was also extremely confused, it must be where they're located and potentially how they ordered. I checked my Papa John's app and a small "The Works" where I am is $13.99 and only becomes $21.99 for an extra large...
Yeah, nobody in the US is paying those prices. The menu's like: a small works pizza is $21. Meanwhile, the special is like: 3 small pizzas (any toppings) for $21.
The dominoes app has coupons that bring down the price to like $8 for a 1-topping pizza, any size.
By the time Link was done picking at his food, Rhett had almost finished an entire slice.
Its not a contest if someone changes the food they're testing...
Link is insufferable. He acts like he's fatally allergic to basic stuff.

Cheese and jalapenos and bacon, it was a lot closer to the Papa Johns side.
As someone who used to work for dominos, if you must order the wings, ask them to run them through the oven twice.
My pizza career ended in 1999 but they had just started wedges. Wrapping them in foil sitting in a brick oven just makes soggy potatoes.

I used to love the garlic sauce but the last time I got it, the garlic flavor was way more subtle than I remembered
The spicy garlic is a game changer. Even without it and the free tub of regular with every pizza. That’s just smart.
I tend to prefer Dominoes over Papa Johns. Plus, their chocolate lava cakes are crazy good.

That was such a bizarre exchange and I feel like neither Rhett nor Link understood exactly why it was so weird!
I had to watch that twice to make sure I interpreted the conversation correctly. Still not sure why he was so adamant that there was no cheese despite the other two assurance that there was in fact cheese in the dish 🤔
Link said before all of that “you’re right”. Its because link was telling rhett he was right by saying “see” as if he was maybe in an argument with himself? Its about how people process information and its important to witness link as there are more people like link than anyone knows. Link is heavily neurodivergent and thinks so differently. And heres a secret, no two people think the same. So link was confused why rhett was arguing with him about it. It was just a misunderstanding. There was a lack of trying to understand someone else, often confused with the term “gaslighting”.
@sleepfuelgaming yes! I'm neurodivergent myself (I'm not sure exactly what my particular flavor of neurospicy is. I suspect ADHD and/or non-verbal learning disorder, I have depression and anxiety, plus I have agenesis of the corpus callosum and arnold-chiari malformation, so basically my brain is all kinds of unusual lol) and I understood Link perfectly. I was baffled as to why Rhett responded the way he did.

I’m surprised at how many people prefer Domino’s. I’ve tried to convince myself I like it, but I always end up wishing I went with Papa John’s or Pizza Hut
I just wish their sauce wasn't so sweet. Other than that, I'm always down for some Papa Johns! They're right, those cinnamon things are DELICIOUS!
It's weird, but growing up, I always preferred Domino's. Then at some point in adulthood -- a specific moment I can't pinpoint exactly -- that switched and I started preferring Papa John's more. (Except for desserts. Nothing beats Domino's chocolate lava cakes!)

The cinnamon pull aparts have been my go to pizza place dessert for awhile now and i feel vindicated. They honestly are one of the best fast food desserts ive ever had
This may seem silly, but I wanted to thank GMM for being a true source of laughter and happiness for me during grad school. PA school has been rough, but watching everyone at mythical gives me a mental break that I truly appreciate. Can’t wait to watch part 2 of this in the new year!

Most of the "grease" you guys are talking about on the Domino's Pizza is actually their like melted butter garlic seasoning that they put on the crust when it's done baking.

I'm currently a delivery driver at Domino's & almost worked at Papa Johns; the bosses in my store are awesome people, whereas the Papa Johns in my local area are in power by some controlling assholes. I'd say I dodged a bullet. I love both places food to a certain extent, neither of them having the "best pizza ever" imo, but both enjoyable for sure. We just got a new hire delivery driver that actually quit Papa Johns to work for our Domino's LOL. Reasons he quit stated above.
