I know most are going to complain about the combat or how its not like the current game their playing but this is a completely different game. For what the game is, I've been having fun with Throne and Liberty and can't wait for release! Let me know if you enjoyed the game, hated it, and why cause I'm always curious!

@@defqonlobbiess Yeah that what im taking about 2 months to premiere and they serve us such garbage? no way they gonna fix it, last time i played it it was basicly a mobile game.

@@TeddyTwighlite Asmongold actually says to everyone to try the games for themselves but they don't listen to him because his fanbase is consisted 90% of morons... I've been watching Zach's (Asmongold) videos for a long time and he's never actually said to anyone to not play a game... he just says what he thinks the game will be based on the business model, gameplay etc... he just says his opinion and to be fair he's right many times due to his experience... the thing is though that while he never tells to not try the game, they don't try the game because they're low IQ morons and just say "oh it's dead"
What I'm saying is that people demonize Asmongold mostly because his fanbase is way way waaaaaaaaay stupider than him... he's actually really smart and fair on his criticisms and always tells people to try the game, especially if it's free and if you like it great... he always says that the combat is bad for him... doesn't like it... is it fair or not? It's his opinion but he never tries to force it on people... the problem is not him, it's his fanbase...
Anyway, I just don't like that Zach is being seen as someone that makes people not play games when he actively always tells them to try it for themselves... he's not nearly as much of a dick as people say he is...
This game sure will bring out the players who like pvp and sieges. This September will be awesome. Keep up the content Teddy!

Once you get the Korean version especially with the big update coming going to be over 200 more skills live skills housing etc the game is still young and will get so much better over time.

Cheers man. That's the most I've learnt of the game, it looks to be better than I had previously thought, I'm tempted to give it a try now.

The state of game for me it's good, combat will be so much better in mid/late game, i play open beta, lv 40.
the first 10/15 levels the combat may seem stiff, slow and mobile game-like, then you'll realize that it's actually complex and layered with the importance of positioning, I swear you'll have to try it!
Yeah! I was shocked on how much you could tailor the stats to fit a class idea you have though the weapon and armor selections seem limited (as is with new games) the combat started feeling better when I start hitting level 30 and higher.
Can't wait to see if they continue working on the game and not leave it in the state New World is in. Here's to hoping!
Now that Asmongold said the combat is bad you will hear this being parroted forever by people who have never played the game lol

Much like all the other game I enjoy playing I'll be playing it on the side too and live streaming it more on release onwards
To be fair it would have been nice if the game was not tab-target, even the 'action' combat is still tab-target. That being said, for the style of combat, it is actually pretty good. I've seen youtube creators comment that it feels like a mobile game which is far from true. All in all after playing the open beta for the last few days, I am 100% sure going to get the game once it fully releases.
We get on global release the new "runes" system for skills, were you get 100 modification points, which you can spend into 5 update options of your favorite skill, which cost 3-7 points each. So on release, the game will have far more modification options on builds.
That actually gets me really excited to play around with!
I've just played a little bit, because my GraCa isnt very good anymore, so I experienced a lot of lags. But nevertheless I had a blast! I will Upgrade my card till September and I will 100% play it! 😀
I wish BDO enhancing was similar to this.. or at least make the accessories not downgrade when use with crons.. I tried to like TL but tab target even the semi action combat mode didnt do it for me sadly.. but yeah the cinematics is really good for a f2p game and I'm sure TL will establish a solid fan base when it launched globally.. assuming they won't be too greedy on microtransac of course.
I can deal with the microtransactions IF they put effort into providing content for the game. As for combat yeah it's not gonna be for those looking for action combat like Tera, NW, or bdo. But, for a successor to Lineage 2 its not completely shit.
After jumping into the conflict zones and taking on other players I found it fun for what the game is trying to be; guild vs guild not action combat sandbox lol
But again. This is NOT going to be for everyone for are they trying too like how Black Desert is trying to be a wow killer. Amazon has one shot to get a good game under their publishing lol let's see if it will be this one since they killed nw
eh sounds like to much of a mess in a mmo to me games like ablion and new world really do better at simplifying the gameplay with really good comabt, even tho albions a scam..
Good thing New world is back in Beta after the last couple years it bled out with all the combat and progression bugs. Older games will always be better :D
Bro, they are literally revamping the entire combat system before US launch in September. Already stated. They are adding new skills and the ability to customize your skill as you see fit. Don't like current skills? You can change them! It is worth the hype I think. Game is gorgeous, runs like butter, interesting quests with ACTUAL cutscenes that are well done, TONS of content to do, simply massive diverse world, nice helpful community, like seriously, the only thing I didn't like were the outlines around NPCs and wish I could turn those off. lol

Yeah I heard about it from then Korean shorts showing what they have. All I hope now is they keep up the progress and not abandoned the game on release

well, i tested it, had fun with it. i know korea gameplay. i can use my own brain.... so yeah i will play it cause fun
Nice to see a more positive review of the game. I have seen many larger creators kind of bash the game while my experience aligns more towards the positive. For me it boils a bit down as follows:
Pro"s
+ Great graphics
+ Virtually no loading screen
+ Classless progression with great potential for customization
+ Cash shop seems almost exclusively cosmetic stuff (apart from 2 items ... see 'meh')
Meh's (aka not great but not too bad either... it is what it is)
/ Paid premium leveling and battle pass (not a fan but on the other hand it could be seen as a sort of subscription)
/ Somewhat bland story (yeah, you are the chosen one, just like everyone else. We are ALL special snowflakes :p)
/ Lack of other races. You are a human and that is it ... while in game there are other races present
/ Combat style is tab-target, which I sort of regret. (this game with BDO combat would be sick)
/ Seems mostly focused on guilds and PVP at higher levels. Personally I am more PVE oriented, but hey this might be fine.
Truly bad stuff
- No real major things come to my mind at this moment.
So all in all, if they don't screw it up after launch this might be an MMO I will enjoy for quite some time.
I agree with all this and as for the shop, im wondering if we need the cash shop currency to list up items cause the items are easy to get to lost and all.
There's some flaws but not enough to stop playing like with most mmos. Yeah wow, ffxiv, bdo, ect all have their issues yet we stay with them because it has something another game doesn't have.
For me the whole game is a breath of fresh air with the whole world being seamless snd how much class customizations with more to come . I just would like to see more weapons to be able to do more ideas like a mace or hammer, spear, etc
I liked this game until I saw that the auction house is cash shop currency only.
Which means you can earn the currency by selling items on the AH, if you do not want to swipe lol. How is this a negative?
I plan on selling rare gear to make currency to buy everything needed or try to bypass the p2w
@@cody6385 No there’s no positive way to spin this. Having a cash shop only auction house is just bad. Especially with limits on dungeons and no trading.
@@TeddyTwighlite the auction fee goes into the tax pool of the big guild vs guild two stage event, castle siege, and tax caravan protection. in the end, as long you have a active guild, you can reearn the currency through dominating the server, or stealing the taxes from the dominant guild.
In the end, the wales will feed the game dynamics.

Sadly no but I hope there's enough feedback for them to reconsider it at some point
Lifeskilling including fishing and player housing is already confirmed by devs with little previews already out. Not leaks either. Official updates. It’s just that they don’t do any of their content previews in English so a lot of ppl don’t know what’s coming
they have actually just updated the game in KR and life skills has been introduced . not sure if it will all transfer to the
world release
feel bad for the folks that think this game will last, but i wish the best of luck. looks appealing at times but yea... that whole "combat" thing being complex, aint really that complex. still a run around and stab vibe, no real complexity there. but hey again, best of luck to the game and gamers.
was fun from what i played. frankly its a little to monetized for me. there are better games coming to spend my money on this.
Yeah I wont be spending money on this and will see if I can sell the items for the currency to bypass the credit card

I think it is good game for couple hundred hours. Same as New World, cant see this keeping player count for a long, since pvp is kinda pointless - no risk, no reward. And for PVE games, you need to push lots of interesting and challening pve content constantly. Story line quests are boring and repetetive. Combat system is good, feels like classic mmo. People are already complaining about p2w element, but i dont think p2w is an issue in a game which is more like a PVE than a PVP game. I hoped for more classic mmo experience than this, feels like one of these generic mobile mmos.

Isn't it shame that they wasted such a beautiful looking game with mediocre combat? I would play it 100% if they had made the combat half as good as BDO.

Yeah if they'd made the game with everything from wow, with the graphics and combat of black desert, and the overall feeling of every other game it would have done great.. now it's just its own game doomed to be a ded lolol

Yeah starting from Lineage and having to switch to a new IP didn't bode well for all the races they could've used but the games still not out and could get more in the future IF the devs decide to not use this as a cash grab
