This game is giving me a lot of Aion vibes, with a good balance of pvp and pve. I am not a pvp player, but loved the pocket healer experience in Aion pvp. Gonna try for the different experience.
I havent played it but I believe you forgot one thing. This is the first mmorpg I see in years that is so optimised with so many people in screen. It's actually fucking insane. No lag, no fps drops, nada.

I played TL beta and im HYPED! I think its PAY TO RUSH(get great gear first, but can call pay to win cus you probably will owning people since day 1) I'm PVE player must Raiding or Playing WOW mythic plus, i hope TL get some content like that to keep me playing and i will dont cara about P2W. BTW: WOW Black Market is just mounts or transmog with no stats
From what Ive played so far, yes - you can gather materials over the world and then you can craft gear etc. but how much are these interconnected I cannot tell. IT seemed like Im gathering different materials then I needed for my new dagger for example.

you have the trait system a little wrong. You say you need over 9 of the same item ( you used chest as an example) to finish it, that's not true. You can use trait unlockstones which can be gained from dungeon farming (crafting with the boss tokens) , lithograph, or weekly reward, for a chest, you need 50 per trait slot unlock and you can choose what they become. let's assume you also got unlucky and got a bad initial trait, you can change the first trait for 50 unlockstones and a currency you can buy from the guild vendor. so at most this is 150 unlockstones assuming you don't get a duplicate chest to drop in the mean time. After you have completed your unlocks, you don't actually need dupe's of the same item, you just need ANY chest piece with the same trait to upgrade the trait tier. i feel like this is important to address because you make it sound much more p2w than it is, that it's basically out of range of f2p but it's not, it's slower yes, but it's doable.
for me hands down the best mmo of last 2 decades after lineage 2 , they removed most abuse u could do in lineage 2 pk etc etc , made pvp optional mostly which again its fine , they making insanly nice cvhanges and updates , looks amazing feels amazing and fluid , the grind its not so much to get repetitive , with adding the arenas and if they implement guild wars so u cna pvp freely between 2 guilds that they have open war between them then it wil be legendary , the p2w its there but in this form and IF they keep it like that its very acceptable and this is coming from a huge hater of p2w

Its definitely a port to mobile type feel. When you move, you can't move at an angle sort of. its like you can move in left to right, and up and down, and it feels like you can't twist on the axis. you short of shift along the access. so if you want to move to 2'olock you sort of gotta strafe and shift to the angle you want to move it. I think in current games if you want to move at an angle, its more natural. In this game you can only move 12, 3, 6, and 9 oclock with ease. but the other directions are difficult, not fluid, no smooth, not natural. so the movement and combat is very asian 2010s. So basically its like a good looking Asian MMO from the early 2010s. Or a cutting edge mobile from 2024. Its literally 2024, how can you make moving at a curve impossible without shifting the camera at the same time?? hahah

I am also in 400+ hours in game still having fun and i havent even maxed any of my epic gear to +9 yet there are plenty of game content to try but probably Paxdei will be a better mmo and it will launch on the same dates Oh and there is also chrono odyssey No matter what you say i spent around 350 - 400 usd in the game you can buy gear dissolve use it to disolve / you can buy gem from ah to directly upgrade anything you want you need plenty of lucent(premium currency) So it’s definitely pay2win but who cares even wow is p2w you can buy gold and craft 460-483 gear or directly buy from ah Just try the game and see if you like it or not dont hate on before the start

Imo the content was enough already , u have ur pvp and u know when it is , i dont want a 2md life mmo again , i dont want full daillies , i wanna go lut for a beer and skip the game for a day or two with out feeling im far behind now, so i feel its perfect as it is

Hopefully Amazon won’t F the game up… I agree 100%, it’s a very fun and engaging game. Pay to win is not the worst I have seen, if you play enough you will be able to make plenty of money on the AH to progress your toons. Overall, there are more positives than negatives imo… I agree with your conclusion!
ah yes... a player injected real money market for items "not the worst". this is so incredibly bad man. defending p2w in a MMO just itself makes me not taking this comment seriously. amazon already fked it up with what they showed us in the beta. bad combat system, boring quests and boring story, bad "black desert"-like movement, p2w from the beginning and controlling the games progression speed, same New World problem here again with a "better get in the big guilds or you are done"-system where a hand full of guilds controll the economy, bad skill learning/progression system like getting bombarded from level 1 with all those skills who in the hell thought this is a good idea... just makes people go look up builds cause of how overwhelming this is and thats bad cause everyone is gonna run the same stuff in the end... the only good things for me so far with this game was the visuals... amazing... i liked the morph system and its potential... i liked the way you interact with NPCs and the small instanced Quest rooms with the Questgivers even tho i guess many dont like this and prefer the good old "npc in open world everyone interacts with" questing experience... also liked how alive the world felt but this is also depending on player numbers and how big the servers are... the only monetization they should have done is cosmetics and a non p2w purely cometics battlepass maybe since these days not having a battlepass makes people angry which is crazy to me... battlepasses in MMOs is in general a weird concept i dont get...

This game looks OP. For me combat system is everything in MMOs,I am huge fan of Tera. TL combat system is similar to ArcheAge and ArcheAge combat system is ok. If this game was action combat like Tera or Bdo it will be next big thing but now I don’t know. Need grind and focus to PVE content because many players do not like PVP.
imo. i think its worse than AA combat system. that said compare to when TnL first launched till now, has been an improvement. but i'd still consider Tnl combat system to be below AA. in comparison between AA and TnL, AA is way more fluid. if you play TnL, it becomes very apparent that this game was originally a mobile game. the combat system feels like mmo games i've played on my iphone. if i have to make an example. Assuming you havent played TnL and have played AA. if you played darkrunner in AA, there is a skill called precision strike from the battlerage tree.you can use that melee skill while moving, jumping, running, etc. it comes out fluid and doesnt lock your character one place. Well in Tnl, similar skills to that, big single target skills that does burst melee damage are all character animation movement locked. you cant do it while jumping, moving, etc. you have to be one tile same place.
@@allreli6943 i know i hurt your weenie baby boy feelings. but this game was originally supposed to be a mobile game, that was repurposed to be a lost ark competitor after lost ark success, that was then repurposed as a mmo pc game/console game. if you actually played this game way back before the combat revamp and when they had astral hunting. itd only take you one day of playing to make you come to the same conclusion that this is some frankenstein mobile esque game that was rehashed to be launched on pc. it had AUTO FARMING, AUTO PATHING, and AUTO QUESTING, all aspects you see in mobile games. the combat system was a literal stiff lock-on no-fluidity dog shiet combat game. the game you're playing right NOW on kr, is a huge improvement from when it first released you knuckle draggin moron. back then you couldnt even move your character around to auto attack and use skills, you were animation locked. much different now where at least you can move around when autoattacking. skilss are still animation/movement locked. also TnL have made improvements on their anti-botting system. back then, it was fooking bad. bots everywhere, it was killing the game. but i can see improvements now where places used to be infested with bots are now clearing up. this dumas doesnt realize this game has been in developement since 2011. project TL has been for 6 years, but clearly people dont remember this game was originally slated as lineage eternal. but was constantly rebranded, restructured again and again with continous delays because management/leadership couldnt decided on anything, because they were stuck chasing the trend back then. when mobile games were popping off back then, and then they saw lost ark becoming successful. which you can tell if you zoom out the character in-game, the TnL fov looks like a lost ark game at a certain angle. and then now back to being a 3-d mmo cuz they've finally decided to do a dual console/pc release of the game. which will be very helpful for the growth/popularity of TnL. TLDR; nah, im right.
It reminds me a lot of Lost Ark. I have about 650 hours in that game. Hopefully it remains lively because bots killed Lost Ark and it eventually became a ghost town. I'm going to buy the early access right now and hop in.

i think that for the west, the compatition part would better be filtered out. a % partisipated reward struckture. the compatition works better in koria, where people open their wallet, and let money do the talking. in the west, we don't have that so mutch. if amazon is working on that, than the "non-global" release is better. i understand compatition is in our blood. we do tent to give up on games, when wales dominate everything. our compatitions are more skill based, than money based. having the same 250 wales dominate wvery event en all other players getting scaps, will kill the game in the long run. prove me wrong.
I played on korean servers at release and also during the closed beta for western servers, the game is really good. I'm a big mmo player, and it has a good balance between pvp, solo content, and stuff you CANNOT DO without a team. There is open world content that reminds me of gw2 world bosses or dynamic events, but also instanced content, which is good. I don't remember if you can fish or not, but it could be a nice feature if it's not present, active content is cool but it's important to have "chill" activities in a mmorpg.
Call ST but die Amazon games is just a publisher. Don’t have shit to do with how the game works or what’s in the game they just published the game. I mean they are publishing it a lot of areas that just North America but they are just to publisher. They have a publishing contract with NC top, serving people confused publishing video games with owning video games online say the music industry where the publisher fund recording contract and the studio and everything and they own the product. That’s not how it works in video game video games developer gets into a contract for publishing they pay a certain amount of money and yes, the publishers have very level of involvement so to speak, but they don’t gain ownership generally.
That is definitely paid to win. The point is will anybody take advantage of it. Typical mobile games that are paid to win are pretty expensive I've spent five grand and still wasn't in the top 10 with some people on my server spending $100,000. I don't see a rich whale spending that kind of money for a console game. I could be wrong though. I'm just excited for the game I can't wait to play.

finally me and 40 friends on guild and discord after spend 14-20 years on wow, last 10 years i try all mmo and more close style gw2 tera aion and many more finaly is the first game made me and friends stop the wow and btw after subscribe for 90 days this thing say everything!!! and btw play in korea soon is beter on steam
It’s good so far the price should be lower tho I don’t think it’s worth 43 dollars. The fighting mechanic is wanky when you attack if automatically continues attacking which is cool because you can focus on moving dodging and using abilities once that activate. But I hate that it’s not responsive. They could’ve done better with the fighting mechanics PS, my main is a sorcerer/shield and sword dude kinda like a paladin. Besides this I still prefer Diablo 4 or baldurs gate
I actually find it better than BDO. easier to play, even the graphics is easier to the eyes. BDO is to chaotic for my taste. Although, I did love the BD mobile version (for a while) But, TL is a little better on more things. Combat is a little stiff (specially for Melee) but, Range is okay. Overall, it's a good mmorpg. Sometimes boring, but overall great

Wands are pretty dope with DoT skills (2 of them) and then you can explode them ) slow but big numbers in the end

Its definitely a port to mobile type feel. When you move, you can't move at an angle sort of. its like you can move in left to right, and up and down, and it feels like you can't twist on the axis. you short of shift along the access. so if you want to move to 2'olock you sort of gotta strafe and shift to the angle you want to move it. I think in current games if you want to move at an angle, its more natural. In this game you can only move 12, 3, 6, and 9 oclock with ease. but the other directions are difficult, not fluid, no smooth, not natural. so the movement and combat is very asian 2010s. So basically its like a good looking Asian MMO from the early 2010s. Or a cutting edge mobile from 2024. Its literally 2024, how can you make moving at a curve impossible without shifting the camera at the same time?? hahah

I am also in 400+ hours in game still having fun and i havent even maxed any of my epic gear to +9 yet there are plenty of game content to try but probably Paxdei will be a better mmo and it will launch on the same dates

No matter what you say i spent around 350 - 400 usd in the game you can buy gear dissolve use it to disolve / you can buy gem from ah to directly upgrade anything you want you need plenty of lucent(premium currency)

Hopefully Amazon won’t F the game up… I agree 100%, it’s a very fun and engaging game. Pay to win is not the worst I have seen, if you play enough you will be able to make plenty of money on the AH to progress your toons. Overall, there are more positives than negatives imo… I agree with your conclusion!

bad combat system, boring quests and boring story, bad "black desert"-like movement, p2w from the beginning and controlling the games progression speed, same New World problem here again with a "better get in the big guilds or you are done"-system where a hand full of guilds controll the economy, bad skill learning/progression system like getting bombarded from level 1 with all those skills who in the hell thought this is a good idea... just makes people go look up builds cause of how overwhelming this is and thats bad cause everyone is gonna run the same stuff in the end...
the only good things for me so far with this game was the visuals... amazing... i liked the morph system and its potential... i liked the way you interact with NPCs and the small instanced Quest rooms with the Questgivers even tho i guess many dont like this and prefer the good old "npc in open world everyone interacts with" questing experience... also liked how alive the world felt but this is also depending on player numbers and how big the servers are...
the only monetization they should have done is cosmetics and a non p2w purely cometics battlepass maybe since these days not having a battlepass makes people angry which is crazy to me... battlepasses in MMOs is in general a weird concept i dont get...

For me combat system is everything in MMOs,I am huge fan of Tera.
TL combat system is similar to ArcheAge and ArcheAge combat system is ok.
If this game was action combat like Tera or Bdo it will be next big thing but now I don’t know.
Need grind and focus to PVE content because many players do not like PVP.
imo. i think its worse than AA combat system. that said compare to when TnL first launched till now, has been an improvement. but i'd still consider Tnl combat system to be below AA. in comparison between AA and TnL, AA is way more fluid. if you play TnL, it becomes very apparent that this game was originally a mobile game. the combat system feels like mmo games i've played on my iphone.
if i have to make an example. Assuming you havent played TnL and have played AA. if you played darkrunner in AA, there is a skill called precision strike from the battlerage tree.you can use that melee skill while moving, jumping, running, etc. it comes out fluid and doesnt lock your character one place.
Well in Tnl, similar skills to that, big single target skills that does burst melee damage are all character animation movement locked. you cant do it while jumping, moving, etc. you have to be one tile same place.

if you actually played this game way back before the combat revamp and when they had astral hunting. itd only take you one day of playing to make you come to the same conclusion that this is some frankenstein mobile esque game that was rehashed to be launched on pc. it had AUTO FARMING, AUTO PATHING, and AUTO QUESTING, all aspects you see in mobile games. the combat system was a literal stiff lock-on no-fluidity dog shiet combat game.
the game you're playing right NOW on kr, is a huge improvement from when it first released you knuckle draggin moron. back then you couldnt even move your character around to auto attack and use skills, you were animation locked. much different now where at least you can move around when autoattacking. skilss are still animation/movement locked.
also TnL have made improvements on their anti-botting system. back then, it was fooking bad. bots everywhere, it was killing the game. but i can see improvements now where places used to be infested with bots are now clearing up.
this dumas doesnt realize this game has been in developement since 2011. project TL has been for 6 years, but clearly people dont remember this game was originally slated as lineage eternal. but was constantly rebranded, restructured again and again with continous delays because management/leadership couldnt decided on anything, because they were stuck chasing the trend back then. when mobile games were popping off back then, and then they saw lost ark becoming successful. which you can tell if you zoom out the character in-game, the TnL fov looks like a lost ark game at a certain angle. and then now back to being a 3-d mmo cuz they've finally decided to do a dual console/pc release of the game. which will be very helpful for the growth/popularity of TnL.

It reminds me a lot of Lost Ark. I have about 650 hours in that game. Hopefully it remains lively because bots killed Lost Ark and it eventually became a ghost town. I'm going to buy the early access right now and hop in.

I played on korean servers at release and also during the closed beta for western servers, the game is really good.
I'm a big mmo player, and it has a good balance between pvp, solo content, and stuff you CANNOT DO without a team.
There is open world content that reminds me of gw2 world bosses or dynamic events, but also instanced content, which is good.
I don't remember if you can fish or not, but it could be a nice feature if it's not present, active content is cool but it's important to have "chill" activities in a mmorpg.
played for 2-3 weeks on the start and for me pvp was nog enough.. i hope they bring more clan pvp etc

Call ST but die Amazon games is just a publisher. Don’t have shit to do with how the game works or what’s in the game they just published the game. I mean they are publishing it a lot of areas that just North America but they are just to publisher. They have a publishing contract with NC top, serving people confused publishing video games with owning video games online say the music industry where the publisher fund recording contract and the studio and everything and they own the product. That’s not how it works in video game video games developer gets into a contract for publishing they pay a certain amount of money and yes, the publishers have very level of involvement so to speak, but they don’t gain ownership generally.
That is definitely paid to win. The point is will anybody take advantage of it. Typical mobile games that are paid to win are pretty expensive I've spent five grand and still wasn't in the top 10 with some people on my server spending $100,000. I don't see a rich whale spending that kind of money for a console game. I could be wrong though. I'm just excited for the game I can't wait to play.
Care about in regards to character creation it doesn’t have jiggle physics and can you change the boobs size I mean, doesn’t have a boobs slider and jiggle physics beyond that every one of them is exactly the same. You’ve been spend endless hours. Make your character look the way you want.

It’s good so far the price should be lower tho I don’t think it’s worth 43 dollars. The fighting mechanic is wanky when you attack if automatically continues attacking which is cool because you can focus on moving dodging and using abilities once that activate. But I hate that it’s not responsive. They could’ve done better with the fighting mechanics
PS, my main is a sorcerer/shield and sword dude kinda like a paladin. Besides this I still prefer Diablo 4 or baldurs gate

I actually find it better than BDO. easier to play, even the graphics is easier to the eyes. BDO is to chaotic for my taste. Although, I did love the BD mobile version (for a while) But, TL is a little better on more things. Combat is a little stiff (specially for Melee) but, Range is okay. Overall, it's a good mmorpg. Sometimes boring, but overall great
