Hey Justin, I was just wondering what would be causing my models to look so low-res when opening in twin motion. I think you had mentioned previously that it may be due to certain computer settings or program settings. Could you expand a bit on this? Are you talking about the graphics card and making sure its in use? Thanks in advanced!
Everything is clear with these materials, but what about complex materials? For example, laminated plywood, where there will be a wood texture on one side and plywood on the end. I would like to set up the material so that I don't have to ungroup it every time.
Hey ! How are you Justin ? I really like this one. Very informative. Can't wait to see what evolution Twinmotion will offer in the new Twinmotion ...! Thank you.
Hello Justin! I've had Twinmotions in my computer for at least a year. It's time I start using this. Can a walk-through video be created with this? The trees swaying with a breeze simulation is awe-inspiring.
Thanks Justin, you've been great in all your videos. I have a slight problem though. I simply can't move, scale or rotate some sketch up objects imported into twinmotion. That and exporting empty video files aside, twinmotion is what I have been waiting for!!!
Not enough information here - when you try to select those objects, what happens? Do you activate the scale or move options? Do you get an error message? Are they locked somehow in the outliner?
@@Thesketchupessentials Thanks for the response. First of all the object, a window sill in this case, is not locked in the sketch up out liner. No error message in twinmotion. The object is highlighted when selected and the gizmo appears showing the axis lines without the arrow heads and the sphere at the origin.
Hi Justin, I have a question. What is the meaning of the different color time bar when you export a work ? What I mean is sometimes when you export a work, the time bar could be green, or blue, purple....
Hmmm... Can't figure out object mode frankly. Was hoping that Twinmotion would recognize components, groups or at the very least the different layers, but every time I try to texturize an object TM decides to colorize the whole material of the SKP file instead. Not a huge issue, our models are already prepared for V-Ray, so replacing and adjusting materials isn't a huge problem even without the object mode, but it's still annoying for details. In any case - _and terrible tablet UI aside_ - this software is amazing! Real time rendering is truly the future of architecture visualization! I hope I can win my architect over as well. You for sure won over this one who is writing this comment!^^
Set your collapse to "none" when exporting your model with the plugin (or set it to none when you import your model) - then follow the instructions at 10:12
Hello, i have a problem with my TM plugin on sketchup, when i change all materials in TM, and then i have to move an object in sketchup, when i refresh with see on twinmotion, yes my object moved but all my new materials in TM have disapeard :( thats so bad it loose me a lot a time... HELP please ( sorry for my bad english..)
Hey Justin! Thanks for all the great videos! I just finally became a Patreon Supporter for you. So I'm curious how I can get that Twinmotion Direct SketchUp extension you are using here. Thanks!
the "apply to object" is NOT working. Maybe it is working in this model you have but generally speaking when all walls in sketchup have the same material then if you change one wall , twinmotion change ALL walls or objects with the same material and the apply to object does not work . Any idea ?
Sounds like when you imported your model, you didn't choose the option to keep the model hierarchy - instead you probably picked the one to collapse by material
@@Thesketchupessentials Either I keep the model hierarchy or not, if (in Sketchup) walls have the same color for example it is impossible to separate it. When you apply a Twinmotion material, all walls and elements with this color will get the same material. Am I missing something here ?

Hi everyone! Let me know how you've been doing with Twinmotion in the comments below! :)
This model keeps crashing my mac when opening it, maybe I need a more powerful computer.
Did you delete out all the plants? Maybe try turning off the context models inside the building?
@@Thesketchupessentials Yup, deleted all the rocks and the trees (and some of the terrain) and some models inside and that made it not crash.

Hi George! I'm also really excited about that - as soon as new features come out, I'll make sure to cover them! Thanks for watching!
