This group is incredible. Amazing song writers and their voices are incredible whether singing in their regular voices or falsetto. They've written over 1,100 songs. Five decades of hits. You could do a reaction a week of their songs and it would take you years to get through all of their great songs. They never disappoint. I love all of their songs but have just over 150 favorites. I can't say that about any other group. They also have a much younger brother Andy Gibb that had an amazing solo career. He was 9 and 12 years younger than his three brothers. Born the same year the Bee Gees were established. His first three singles hit number one. Please react to Andy Gibb on the Midnight Special singing, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. As for Bee Gees songs you've probably heard Staying Alive. Others you should absolutely hear are Fanny Be Tender With My Love. Nights On Broadway. Love You Inside Out. For Whom The Bell Tolls (Video outside under the Brooklyn Bridge) To Love Somebody. Mr Natural. Tragedy. Love So Right. Jive Talkin. Words. Omgoodness there are so many. Each as great as the one before. Great reaction.

The song is awesome! But ofc as you can hear it wasn't one (live) take. The process of recording "Too Much Heaven" was excessive and included 27 vocal tracks from the brothers (falsetto, harmony and normal voices) The recording of this track was longer than any other on the album. The recording included the horn section of the band Chicago. I heard them sing this song live in some concert (Barry not used his falsetto there), but it sounded amazing anyway !
It definitely wasn’t live as much as it’s portrait. You can tell because at the end of the song it tails off and that’s not how any live song ends with the fade like that. Highly produced but beautiful nonetheless.
They do not make music like this anymore. today's music doesn't even come close!! So sad! I am so blessed and grateful to have grown up in the 70's. There are some people in my world that wonder why I'm stuck in yesterday's music... THIS IS THE REASON ❤❤❤
I am 70. These guys were the best band and songwriters and vocalists ever. This is my favorite song ever. We had hands down the best music ever, uplifting!
This song was recorded in one take. No instruments to alter their voices. Barry was the greatest falsetto of his era. His twin brothers Maurice and Robin were the perfect harmony for all of their songs. No one will ever duplicate them!
I loved them back in the 70's... and still do to this day... I remember not being able to tell many I liked them because it wasn't cool... but , I still loved them... :)

I was in high school when the Bee Gees really hit it big during the disco craze. We danced many a night away to their music. But it didn't end there. Such a talented family. So sad that now Barry (one in the middle) is the only surviving member. All of his brothers have now passed. And yet, he's still cranking out music, playing, singing, & writing. A lot of people don't realize how many hit songs from other artists were written by them. Artists like Dionne Warwick, Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, Samantha Sang, Yvonne Elliman, Tavares, Barbra Streisand, Franki Valli, Andy Gibb (youngest brother who died just as his career was taking off), and the list goes on. They have written THOUSANDS of hit songs, many of which were performed by other artists of all different genres. The absolute artistry and talent that came from these 3 brothers is truly phenomenal. I can't think of one bad song they have done. Everything is absolute gold.
Hi, I’m 77, and still listen to BeeGees every day. I’ve been listening and enjoying their music since the 60’s. Barry released another album in 2021 called Greenfields, BeeGees songs sung with country stars and Barry.
The Bee Gee's Brothers were the Best still to this day starting from the 1960's to the 80's RIP to all the brothers that passed away, the lead and oldest singer Barry Bibb is the last one still standing at 77 years old!
I am right there with you my friend! I have been in ❤ with Barry Gibb since the first time laying my eyes on this 🔥 beautiful man "back in the day" before meeting my husband of 50 years! 😂😅😅 My heart still melts 💓 and skips a beat every time I look at a video and see his smiling face or hear his voice! I am watching a reaction video right now and smiling BIG😊😊
You are so right. No autotune only pure talent. You would enjoy Fanny be tender with my love, Nights on Broadway (1975 midnight special) and Wind of change (1979). Shows their massive vocal ranges and diverse catalog. Great reaction ❤❤❤
Their father was the leader of a band and their mother was a singer so I guess that's why they're so talented. All three of them play multiple instruments as well.
Remember, these guys had been performing together since they were kids. They perfected that sound for decades. Younger audiences are taken by surprise when they hear the falsetto, but in the 70's it was all over. Black and white groups all did it.
Great reaction! These amazing brothers have a catalog of over 1000 songs. They wrote 3 #1 hits in one afternoon. You should check out “Fanny Be Tender With My Love “, “Nights On Broadway”, “Love You Inside Out”, “You Win Again”, just to name a few.
This music was a fantastic sound to cheer up a rainy day. This is when you would get all dressed up and head to a nightclub. Where you actually spoke face to face with people. All enjoying the beautiful songs. The DJ would slow the music down. Someone would ask someone to dance. This is where people met their boyfriend, partner, who then progressed to husband or wife. I met my husband 42 years ago and we are still together. 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. When you speak to someone with respect and treat them with respect, don't forget that the respect starts with self respect. Get to know the person before you give them a chance to become your boyfriend or partner. Don't bend to the pressure that younger generations are bending to. Stand up for yourself and your morality. Be kind and expect to be treated kind. Not queen's or kings, but people who are happy to spend time together. ❤
They are magical when their tones hit your ears. Back to back with Stayin' Alive alive and Heaven Is a cool way to start your day. It's wild that they're so organic... And so smooth... so incredibly smooth.
I grew up listening to these guys not realising how great they were amongst a lot of other singers of a similar type who came before now. Looking back, it is great to see such special voices and real heart and soul. Go into modern music, and you can see the threads of it as you come up to the modern age, and it's great when people look back and take the good parts and build on them themselves. They gotta have the talent, though. That's the thing, you've got to have the talent. Nobody learns this. It's a god-given gift. I'm 57 now, and I feel like a twelve-year-old. These are wonderful songs. Please check out as many as you can of beegees. And all others around this time, you'll find some really great songs. You probably find a few horrors, too. But Hey, you get those everywhere! Thanks guys❤

My favorite song of all time!! These men were born with a gift! Their first live performance was when they were young children; 7 and 5 (2 of them are twins). They signed up to lip sync at a theatre before a show started but Maurice (green shirt, pronounced Morris) dropped the record and broke it. The theater let them sing for real, placed a mic in front of them, and they sang the song Lollipop! These guys sang in their bedroom as children and their mother thought her sons accidentally left the radio on. Mom opened the door to turn the radio off and learned that her sons had a gift of singing in perfect 3-part harmony! Barry is the oldest and the lead singer in the middle, Robin is the twin in the white shirt, and Maurice (pronounced Morris) is in the green shirt. Want to see their first performance on television!?! It was in Australia and they performed a song they wrote called Time is Passing By. Barry, at that time was 11 and the twins were 9! Even then you could hear their harmonies and the gift they had! They wrote many songs for other artists as well! Dione Warwick calls Barry Gibb “the hit maker!” My favorite is a song they wrote for Celine Dion called Immortality! There’s a video of them recording the song and Barry and Maurice were in tears from the beauty of the song. My favorite performance was live in Las Vegas which is also on video!!
I was so fortunate to be alive (17 years old) when this first came out. I remember going to see Staying alive and had the album. We used to love to hit the disco's and the Bee Gee's music was played in the Disco's, but fit any genre (many other singers have sang song written by the Bee Gee's. Before this, I loved all their music from the 60's. Their harmonies were perfection, classic, beautiful music.
It wasn't just the song but also the era.So much was happening in that era! Loved it and it can never be repeated. Was so thankful to have grown up with bands like the BeeGees...music with depth and true feeling!
The Bee Gees are very talented. The brothers can sing. The twins truly compliment Berry's voice. Robin and Maurice RIP 🙏🙏 Good music and memories. Unfortunatly Andy Gibb is gone also RIP he was taken very young but God needed him more. Thank you..🎶🎤🎧💯🫶🔥
I love when the reactors don’t constantly stop the video every couple of seconds.. Sometimes your vibes and facial expressions to the music is the best reaction ever.. Of course your opinion at the end is something to look forward to also.. Glad you both enjoyed this great time masterpiece ❤
You are hearing 27 different tracks on this recording! Barry alone recorded 18 different ones. The two brothers recorded three different tracks each. All three recorded three tracks together. Horn section is from the group Chicago.
I'm in my early 70's and I loved all the music I grew up with. Every band had to be extremely talented in order to be sucessful. Back then men sang songs of love for their woman. Glad to see your reaction and hope you hear more of the 70's music. Check out Phil Collins live In the air tonight and Dire Straits Alchemy live. So many more bands for you to see and enjoy.
So I "hit the like" and subscribed to your channel based on your reaction to this video. You didn't have to ask me twice. Your appreciation of what us "older generation" Bee Gee fans grew up on! Their music is basically the songbook of my life! Ther talent wasn't limited to their amazing vocals. You have to include musicians, song writers, and producers. They wrote for some of the most well known groups and solo artists..ie; Dionne Warwick, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Al Green, Diana Ross. Otis Redding , Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers just to name a few! Your comment about Barry Gibb being "hot🔥🥵"enough for the ladies to be throwing their panties on the stage was spot on my friend! I definitely would have been one of those ladies had I been fortunate enough to have gone to one.. 😢 because I have been in ❤ love with "THE MAN" since the early 70's! He is eye 🍬🍫🍭 candy and tugs on my ❤ strings every time he opens his mouth and I hear his voice. I strongly suggest you react to two of my favorite covers the Bee Gees blessed us with "back in the day" written for Celine Dion and performed at their One Night Only live concert in Las Vegas 🎶 Immortality🎶 in the early 90's as well as 🎶For Whom the Bell Tolls🎶 preferably the version performed live in New York in the 90's.. Thanks for letting me rant. I am looking forward to watching your future reactions to the Bee Gees as you both dive in the 🐰🐇 rabbit hole! ❤🎶👨🎤🎙🎛🎸💿🎹❤😊🎼💪🎧
Your smiles say everything! These guys r unmatched! They r much loved by us older folks. This right here is beautiful! No auto tune back then. This was recorded nearly 50 years ago. They’re the real deal!
Not only did music sound good but every single person playing an insterment were all connected in the timing of the music which is truly is a special feeling think of how good it makes you feel hearing it, and if you happen to be playing an insterment in this, that feeling just multiplies by 100. The connection between the band is absolutely special when played in this manner pure timing of each individual at the exact same time is a feeling that just cannot be explained.
The Bee Gees really blew up in the seventies after the movie Saturday Night Fever came out which the Bee Gees provided a lot of music for that soundtrack. Yes indeed that is their natural voices no auto-tune or anything back then. They remained to this day to be one of the best groups that harmonize well together. Check out their other music Saturday Night Fever from the movie and others as well welcome to my world

Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb wrote this track with "Tragedy" in an afternoon off from the making the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie; that same evening, the Gibbs wrote "Shadow Dancing" for Andy Gibb (but that song was later credited to all four Gibbs)[5]
The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix:[6]
Barry on falsetto lead three times
falsetto high harmony three times
falsetto low harmony three times
Barry on natural voice lead three times
high harmony three times
low harmony three times
Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times
high harmony three times

Imbued with their falsetto style, it is also notable for being one of two songs on the album featuring the Chicago horn section (James Pankow, Walter Parazaider and Lee Loughnane); the other track that features the Chicago members is "Search, Find", in return for the brothers' appearance on the Chicago song "Little Miss Lovin'". On its demo version, Barry begins with count-in. This track does have some backing vocals. The demo lacks the full orchestral feel of the final song.

And they were pitch-perfect every time. No mistakes, No outtakes, no mulligans. Just absolute splendor &true talent.
That big smile reaction to the opening chorus is the same reaction 90% of folks have when they hear it for the first time, too🔥🔥🔥🔥
It wasn't just the song but also the era.So much was happening in that era! Loved it and it can never be repeated. Was so thankful to have grown up with bands like the BeeGees...music with depth and true feeling!
The Human Race was and is a Better World because of the BGs. 🎹🎷🎺🎸🎻🎙️
Every reaction I have watched, the first note, big smiles cross their faces.
You both nailed how amazing the Bee Gees were. They defined the word iconic!
These brothers were by far one of the best things to ever come out of the 70s
Nobody in music history can harmonize better than The Brothers Gibb!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Lots of babies made to this classic! I'm lucky to have lived back then!
These guys are laughing because they know back in the day panties were falling everywhere for these guys 😂❤
Naw facts appreciate the comment
Bee Gees. The best of the best
Sad we don’t get such meaningful romantic songs anymore. Timeless Legends 🥰🎶
You are hearing 27 different tracks on this recording! Barry alone recorded 18 different ones. The two brothers recorded three different tracks each. All three recorded three tracks together. Horn section is from the group Chicago.
No body dances like we used too. The joy of meeting new people and finding out common ideas.... Oh, the dancing!
Thank you. Bee Gees!
Love your reactions! You both are worth the time to listen to.see you next time!
So much talent in one family.
I’m 63 and I love watching these young people react to the best music ever.
You two guys are so great to watch! You truly love good music and great talent!
I grew up in the 70s. Everyone loved the Bee Gees!
I will die on this hill. This is the greatest love making song ever.
Great song and I love that you all show the full video screen!
Fanny Be Tender is a must watch! Even Quincy Jones says it's his favorite!
The harmony was unbeatable
Goosebumps. Every.single.time.
Go down that rabbit hole. You won't be disappointed. I remember when this song came out!! ❤
No autotune. It's good that you're expanding on your knowledge of music.
Check out their other music Saturday Night Fever from the movie and others as well welcome to my world
Definitely was original
We love the Bee Gee's! Forever
🥹 priceless, too bad we dnt get music like that anymore.
I grew up with this song. I was Born in 72 my mother played this for me one day as a child. It’s been my favorite song ever since.

When I was a little kid this song made me cry every single time I heard it. I didn't understand why back then, but I sure do now =)
