Does packaging on meat products have the same kind of info as on eggs? Ie, whether the meat was raised free-range or in a barn, etc If not, it totally should imo
I feel like a creature like this would just straight up evolve to look as terrifying as possible without actually being dangerous, to discourage predators from attacking it and potentially drive predators away from their kill to more effectively scavenge.
There's examples of this in reality. Some species evolve to copy the look of other dangerous species in order to scare away other animals and people that know to avoid things that look like that. When you see a vibrantly colored animal like a bug or lizard, it's basically a 50/50 on whether it's horrifically venomous or harmless.

I just saw you can turn the zombies in project zomboid off, and it makes me wonder, if every other world setting is set to the hardest possible, but zombies are set to zero, how long can you survive man vs world? Can you progress to the point where survival is trivial and mundane? Will your character muddle on to the end of their natural life, completely and utterly alone and isolated from any form of human contact, even the undead, or will being the last person left behind after the apparent rapture drive them mad and eventually to suicide?

Only later in their existence did they start hunting,and we are talking about a period of 1.5 million years where they existed. They scavenged meat off the remains that were taken down by sabre tooth cats. For reference we have only existed for 400.000 years. Later H. erectus peoples produced a wider range of stone tools and were probably active hunters."

Modern humans are the ones, who hunted mammoth and are the said pissed off massive omnivore apes. Only gorillas are reliably bigger then us, I would say that we're bigger then chimps and at least comparable to orangutans. We move in groups, use tools almost never tire and actually are the hunters. Wild humans are actually horrifying.

If you wanted to get super in-depth, they would likely also recycle the meat from their farm animals after they've died naturally. It would be tough and dry, but meat is meat.

Spore is definitely not a children's game Remember the cutscene when you obtain a city in civilization stage ? None of the residents are of other species, even if you're re completely pacifist in the tribal stage This shows the deep and complicated machinations of the extreme discrimination, with the end results making other race citizen extinct without compromising their image as a benevolent race/leader
This reminds me of my Stellaris empire - formally an egalitarian, liberal democracy. In practice around 95% of its leadership is of the original species, despite 2/3 of the empire's citizens being of different species. And I have genetic modification programs that limit the fertility of some alien species. Wonderfully corrupted ideals :D

Spore is quite possibly one of my favorite games of all time. This is just imo but I think games that let you customize and create something that make you use you use your creativity are absolutely amazing. Thats why it makes me so sad that E.A took such a downfall. They made amazing games before they became greedy and its honestly so sad. I still hope a Spore: Remastered is made.

Spore has always remained a stain on Will Wright's career in the eyes of many gamers. Not unlike Fable for Peter Molyneux, Spore was, to many, a bundle of lies and broken promises. Not to me. Spore has remained a fun, auspicious, and innovative title that I've loved since GDC 2005 when it was first displayed. When support for it was cancelled and the servers shut down, I was genuinely upset. Launching the game today and seeing only Maxis made creatures truly feels like a waste. But when Amphibian plays a new Spore challenge none of that matters. Spore becomes the sandbox that it was to me, 15 years ago. No mouth torso playthrough when?

A fun challenge I like to do is limiting what parts I am able to use on my cell/creature. Depending on what sort of species I want (avian, reptilian, amphibian, insectoid, etc.) It adds a bit to the cell and creature stage. You can get creative on how you wanna play tribal, civilization and space stage from there then. Also, the Dark Injection mod adds a lot of fun stuff to the game to create with.
I remember thinking of a challenge like this a long while ago and doing it. Never completed the space stage but it was interesting trying to stay alive as the friendliest carnivore without trying to kill things for meat.
Spore has been one of my absolute favorite games since the day it came out and it makes me so happy it’s still being played. Wish it got the remake treatment because it is jank af, but you still love to see it!
Although being an Obligate Carnivore makes this challenge WAY more interesting, you actually CAN make creatures that are Opportunistic Carnivores. By giving your creature a filter feeder as well as jaws (or just a proboscis) and then continuing to eat meat, you can take the carnivore path while still keeping the omnivorous ability. As long as you don’t remove the filter feeder/proboscis after this, you can keep eating both meat and plants. (If you sell either the filter or proboscis you won’t be able to get it back since you only have access to carnivorous mouthes in creature stage with the predator card)

This was me when I was little. I always chose carnivore because I loved the mouths you got, especially the crocodile one but hated the thought of killing other creatures so I always just mated before it was going to die of hunger. I did this on basically every playthrough :D

Go with something that looks like a giant Stick Bug. Terrifying due to size but can dance very well due to long limbs

With the right adjustments and a smaller map it could also make for some interesting hunger games style multiplayer server.

You can get them all back to allies with enough work though
you need like +200 in relationships or dont ever click on the messages of them afetr befriendign the grox and then you can still have them

This was one of the most entertaining and interesting challenge runs with story I've ever seen.
Spore was a game I played soooo much as a child, obviously I wasn't good since I was like 9, but I loved it and I come back to it from time to time
The use of Sims music in these videos is honestly giving me a lot of nostalgia for when I first heard of Spore yonks back.

This was me when I was little. I always chose carnivore because I loved the mouths you got, especially the crocodile one but hated the thought of killing other creatures so I always just mated before it was going to die of hunger. I did this on basically every playthrough :D
