Driverless cars need to have a standard system used by all of them, including communication between them on the road and with a central system for coordination. The current approach is interesting but ultimately inefficient and will never be as safe as a communal approach.

Everything that the BBC reports on has sadly lost many of its meaning now due to the BBC’s refusal to report on the issues of human death and suffering happening now in 🇵🇸 and instead focusing on any other little thing to report on rather than the bigger issues of human suffering and gen0cid3 happening in the world
The BBC have their clear agenda and serve not the freedom of the press that they claim to be serving but their new gods of money and political power that they have traded for their morality, journalists’ work ethical code, and the blood of those it has affected and will affect due to their silence and complicity
We who remain free and truly honour those values, of which the BBC is hypocritical of, must now write words carefully on online giants like UA-cam to not have our voices silenced and erased by these giants
It is more important for UA-cam and the BBC to erase the existence of the words gen0cid3 on their forums rather than to report on the actual gen0cid3 happening in the word
In simplest and saddest of words to truly comprehend: those organisations lie. On one hand claim morality to fight against human suffering and for freedom and in reality serve to report as little as possible on the gen0cid3 against a people and silence voices that speak the truth

We don’t need passenger vehicles at this scale. A Tesla battery is large enough to power over 100 e-bikes. Battery materials are hard to mine ethically, we have to scale our consumption to do so. We can’t afford to have all that battery power hoarded by the few who can afford electric cars.

Chinese electric cars are *heavily subsidized* by many levels of Chinese government. Some people bought them, threw them away without driving, and still made profits.
    - That's why there are millions of new cars abandoned by owners across the country.
And this is not an exaggeration.

In a future dominated by self-driving cars, it seems impractical to permit human drivers given their demonstrated slower reaction times and calculation abilities compared to AI. Legislation, designed to ensure safety, could logically restrict human driving except for specific contexts like racing, tracks, and vintage driving sports.
The sonification of converting data to sound is not a new concept, but very interesting how they made music from it in this instance.

  • @pete6705
    @pete6705 6 місяців тому

It may still take some more time, but once completely self driving cars are the norm, it’s going to really change the world. Every person will have their own chauffeur, and cars will be a place to just relax, watch TV, eat, etc. while you get to your destination. People might take it out just for fun, sit and read a book while your car takes you around the city. And you could easily take 500 mile+ trips, just get in at night go to sleep and when you wake up in the morning you’ll be there. And maybe everyone will want a big van, so they have a full size bedroom to be chauffeured around in

Could a car still swerve if a person steps in front of it.. and in a split second the vehicle it may hit for example is also given evasive action via A.I. .. so they react in concert?? Or the vehicle that will be hit deploys it’s air bags and some other kind of protection? Or the vehicle have some way of negating impact on other obstacles?? Maybe something like a bumper car protection enabled or a protective shell/bubble around the car?Otherwise the person/ child stepping in front of car one will just be effectively ….??

But a car swerving across into another lane to avoid sudden appearance of pedestrian/cyclist etc surely only works (as demonstrated) on empty Motorway or Highway. What about oncoming traffic or parallel overtaking vehicle……? This is a terrifying concept….can’t help noticing that some of the very worst drivers on the road tank along with revved up in-car surround sound boom box acoustics.

One pedestrian getting hit by a self driven car, and it's going to be all curtains for this concept and technology.
Because, from a legal and prosecution point of view, the authorities will want to press charges on the person behind the wheel. But the problem is, it's auto driven by a..... robot.
So, who to the victims and authorities blame and prosecute for causing the accident?? If there is no actual person behind the wheel??
So, I think this concept is going to take alot of convincing, approval and vote of confidence from the law before it becomes the norm or rolled out on a global scale.
Also, currently thieves are stealing vehicle owners with them being inside of their cars. So, a unattended vehicle, controlled by a robot, it's going to be like Christmas for car thieves.
They may have a hard time with getting it started -the self driven car.
But, they'll look to other ways of getting their money's worth. By taking apart car parts and selling them off.
It's not going to be easy to make this work, because there certainly are many issues that will need to be solved.
    😬😬🤔🤔🤔
