- Some days are good, some are not, on this day everything went wrong.
There were no trout caught, insects were flying on the wing and there was damage to the car.
Only thing that kept a smile on my face was the sights and sounds of nature. - Спорт

Sorry to hear about the bad experience lochtaupo for me its not the only bad experience I've had, but it's a great place to fish.

Thanks Bruce . . . you just reminded me to get that weatherproof magnetic key box to place on the underside/in the wheel arch of the car. Have been meaning to do it for yonks. Now I have a recurring alarm in my phone to remind me.

I have to say though, after the efforts in finding a suitable steel-based location under my low-slung sedan, it is fairly clear that this old boy will have to undergo a number of corrective surgeries if ever I have to access the thing.
Less trouble for you if you have a (higher) 4WD.
Just about as difficult, was finding a suitable magnetic key holder/box in the first instance.
