Tantangara Dam - Murrumbidgee River - Kosciuszko National Park - Trout Fishing, 4wd and Camping

This is part 1 of our 4 day trip to Tantangara Dam and the Long Plain area.
The first 2 days were spent exploring Tantangara Dam and the Murrumbidgee River that flows into it.
We do a spot of fishing and pick up a few nice trout.
In part 2 we do a day trip down Long Plain Rd checking out the huts and campgrounds along the way. We ended up at Blue Waterholes before heading back to Tantangara to avoid the crowds for the next 2 nights.

We fished Tantangara below dam. There were small fish everywhere. Also fished the murumbidgee above Tantangara but water was too warm and shallow. 10+ years plus ago. Good memories.
