Thats a gorgeous spider❤
Beautiful 🕷️❤❤ awesome work rehousing, tysvm for tips, as I’m working on purchasing my first old world soon after seeing your beautiful P. Metallica’s I fell in ❤
Such a good dad you are. 🙂
I love how you call all of them "stunning spiders." They most certainly are! They're adorable.
I am terrified of spider's but watching you even though it creeps me out, shows how amazing they are. Don't think I'll ever handle one but maybe I won't loose it anymore when I see one. Thanks for the video
I was so scared of regular house spiders, but I never would kill them. I would catch them and let them out. Now watching #Daveslittlebeasties I may get a beginner spider one day!
Same here.! Very helpful videos. 👍
Agreed. I’m terrified of spiders, But for some reason I don’t think I would freak out anymore if I saw one up close in a tank. Lol.
@@jonbeck6389 I got over my fear awhile ago. If a spider is in my house, I catch it and put it out. Unless it is cold, I'll leave it alone.
Great video Dave
i gotta say these enclosures are like perfect capsules taken straight from the nature. would never think that it was put together by someone. looks like these barks and branches were always there. beautiful!
She adapted the personality of her owner.
One of my favourite Chilo species. Have seen them in Kaeng Krachen National Park. And some were living fossorial in bank sides , And some had made there homes at the base of large trees 👍
Very cool!
For an aggressive spider that was a very relaxed move. Expertly done!
Dam I need a desk like that hell yeah I just got my lil spider cubby at the end of my bed but it's my relaxation spot to just set and watch my ts do weird spider things
I love this tarantula, She’s amazing an I can watch over & over lol
This was the best transfer I've ever seen, she was so calm.
They all learn the Beastie way 😂👍
t's because all living things understand when they are in captivity and after so long, lose that "spark" of life that made them interesting to begin with.
@@pcsplus2011 What a strange thought ???
Nice to see someone actually knows how to catch spiders properly on UA-cam all the best with your breeding Project.
Thanks for your kind words glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Exotic lair
She loves him and it shows.
So sorry, but how did you come to that conclusion? Maybe the way she ran to him and gave him a big hug?
@@BlueGravity777 you obvs lack luv lol jk
@@missewe I like to watch, but in all honesty the big ones creep me out badly.
Unfortunately it’s very likely that tarantulas are incapable of feeling love as they are prehistoric animals and they have a very simple nervous system. :(
@@sterbenodonis2772 just a bug with a brain the size of a pinhead
My goodness she's gorgeous! I hope to add one of these once I get comfortable enough!
Hi Dave, just wanted to say thank you for your awesome videos. I am a new subscriber and up until a few weeks ago go I didn’t like spiders at all in fact I was scared to death by them. I accidentally clicked on the video of you removing all the little baby spiders from their mums enclosure, she was a beautiful blue colour and as I watched I was fascinated. I have enjoyed many more videos and your relaxed commentary also was helpful in allaying my fears. So a massive thank you from a new spider fan. I won’t ever have a collection of my own I am content with observing from the sofa! Thank you Wendy 😄
Thats awsome and welcome to our channel ❤️❤️👍
Hi Dave She really was Friendly, and easy to move. Love your enclosures🕸️🕷️ Cindy
Not going to lie, beautiful spider, but next level on size
Gives me the cold shivers...lol. 😱
I'm usually not really into spiders, but damn she's beautiful.
You are amazing and the thing is, your spiders know how calm you are - so they are too! Another enjoyable video. ♥
Thank you very much!
"WE GOT A BOX! WE GOT A BOX!" "WHAT'S IN THE BOX?"
That was smooth as butter.
Thank you, you do so much to help shed a good light on the spider / tarantula community, i think you are awesome !! love and respect.
Thank you so much!

These were in my recommendation and now I’m obsessed
My god what a beautiful specimen literally my jaw dropped and just for the hell of it have the same clock thermometer gadget as well
Another great video! It would fantastic to have a video on sling set up and care for this species.
Gorgeous, like velvet...
Thank you.
Your very good at transferring the spiders!
Hehe big spider...
was cute and relaxing watching you set up the cage just right for her, and then move her over. :)
Love this video, she was really well behaved when you rehoused her. I've subbed and I'm going to make my way through the rest of your vids. Thanks Dave.

great rehouse. She's beautiful and good luck hunting a male
Thank you and yes we found a male the pairing video is in the list 👍
As a fan I want to say I apologize for whoever said that comment about someone going to your station as in cat and all the other tarantula community whoever said that comment was very disrespectful to you you we look up to all of us you're as an elder to us in the Kingdom of teaching of tarantulas all tarantula community has educated us how to care for tarantulas better due to the fact that the pet stores do not give us complete information we are going in blind but the tarantula community that you are connected to as the Elder I thank you my daughter thanks you I am at your humble respect of your teaching of the tranchulas community
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you my friend ❤️❤️❤️
Dave you are the Spider Whisperer....
Thank you my friend 👍👍
another great video and yes I enjoyed it but I have watched almost all your video I am running out of content to watch ......you need to make more videos lol I am joking about making more videos I have watched almost all your video ...Keep up the amazing work thank you for sharing
😂😂😂 we bring one out every Monday and Thursday 👍👍👍
The moss looks great I need to go and get some from the woods. Did u get the bark from the woods too and did u treat the bark before putting it in with the spider
No that bark was cork that I bought .and no I don't treat it even when collected by myself I still don't do anything to it.
Great video, just lost my red kneed tarantula ☹️
Hi Dave, your videos are so interesting, very informative. Was wondering what happen to the mate that you breed to this spider?
She eat her mate , these are very hard on the males , there is a pairing video of them 👍
Ahhhhh😵😵
Hi Dave,
Are you going to do an update video to show how she settled in and which way she went? Fossorial or arboreal? Cheers mate.
yes at the moment she has just sat out in the open likes she is sun bathing but has a very strong appetite.
Another great video! I noticed your thermometer says 80f. Is that the temperature you keep the room with your spiders in? There's a lot of conflicting information on how warm you should keep your T's. What's your opinion? Thanks in advance
Yes my room is a steady 80f most of the time in winter it drops to mid to low 70s, top of room 85+ bottom 65+so I have a large gradient to play with depending on what I need, I think theres a lot of hang ups regarding temps and most spiders can deal with pretty large temp changes .
May I ask where that tank you put her in is from? I am trying to find a good, secure enclosure for use with a centipede. And this looks perfect!
These are Komodo 30x30x30 and I use them for centipedes they are perfect and very secure 👍👍👍
sweet girl
I own a chylobrachys lumbrycucus .... I call her " The Lobster Pig " .
Very professional video, like always. It was beautifully done. How did it go with the breeding? Did you find a male?
We are pairing again this week end
Dave is there a genus of tarantulas that has both arboreal and terrestrial in same genus?
Here i am almost 40, and wanted a tarantula since i was 20, but never lived somewhere that would allow it. Been living with others who do not approve and the one time i had my own apartment, it wasn't allowed there either. Hopefully the retirement home i end up in will allow it? One day maybe.....
love the water dish idea That just feels right and looks really good I've had a couple of large For me spiders in the past and am getting the idea of maybe another I had just Chile roses so any ideas would go down well I kind of like the red knee jobs Would that be a good idea Loved your films mate Have subbed
Any Brachypelmas are a good choice
Dave couldn't she bite through that plastic catch cup if she wanted to,,? I have noticed though I haven't seen once any of your spiders getting the hump when you rehouse them, funny thought to think that they might actually know you I do think there's trust there ,love your stuff ro
We try to not give them any reason to fear us 👍
Where do you buy those inclosures? They are cute!
Dave, do you bake the collected soil at all? Sift it? Or when you say you do not do anything to it (the moss) are you also referring to the soil? It was my understanding that there's risk of ants and parasites, but I am guessing you have never experienced troubles with that? I love the idea of collecting local soil instead of using bagged stuff (as around here it's hard to find anything but cocofiber), but am curious about any kind of issues you may have experienced? (I am in Canada, not the UK, if this makes a difference).
Yes here in the UK we dont have any parasites to worry about in the soil or moss or wood that I collect the only thing I look for are ants and large beetles , rather than coco fibre try potting compost I use a lot of it without issues 👍
Chunky spider that, how big do they get? Love watching your videos no drama at all, cool calm and collected.
She is full grown 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Cheers pal
Hey dave do you ever have problems with mold in those dark, moist and humid environments?
No I dont mate 👍
Hello, just wondering where you find the moss growing in sheets like you have. I know you said the woods but can't say I've ever seen or maybe just not noticed it growing like that, would it be on the floor? Great video, don't know how you stay so calm, I have a mature male Pampho I need to rehome but he is so incredibly fast I keep putting it off. 😬 Best wishes for the New Year, regards Joanne 🐺
I find the best place to find the moss is in plantations of conifer ❤
@@daveslittlebeasties ok thanks Dave I shall keep that in mind 😃👍 regards Joanne 🐺
She is just stunning ! My sister and I were wondering Dave, have you been in the military ? Hope you don’t mind us asking ?
No I haven't ?
I also thought Dave had a military background!
That was really cool! Longtime ago i had a rosehair tarantula and it was a great experience. Having kids the mrs. made me get rid of all my exotic pets :(
😭😭thats not fair mate 😭
Yea i know! I had a scorpion, a T, a veiled chameleon, and a 12 1/2 foot albino burmese python. All had to go but the lizard. :[
@@warrenstephens576 Should've held on for better wife material 😁
just wondering cause i take my water dishes out every week and wash them and give fresh water. how do you clean these water dishes with them glued to enclosure ?
I dont worry too much and just refill them if they get particularly dirty I clean them with a piece of tissue .
new viewer here. not sure why I'm so enamoured with these vids, you're a dude but i hate and am very scared of large spiders. however, is it ok to keep such large spiders in such tiny tanks? im not having a go or anything but seems bizarre to a layman to have such huge spiders inactive in a tiny tank
Welcome to our channel , these spiders are active within there environment they dont need much space becouse everything they need is provided for them, we can gage the care we provide on how our spiders respond and look , we breed all our spiders here and they have long and healthy lives which suggests they are in perfect health, often animals and pets in general are kept with human emotions which is totally irrelevant to their needs so its most important to do what is best for the individual concerned and not get confused with our own emotions. so glad your enjoying the content and seeing these fantastic creatures in a fresh light , no question is silly you showed respect with your queries and I hope I have been able to answer them ❤️👍
Hi Dave , how often do these shed?
Its all food related
It’s scary spider if don’t how be careful.
well i fkin hope you aint my undiscovered neighbour 😂
If I may, where do you find the moss?
I collect it wild from the woods
Do you not worry about mites or parasites from outside sources??? ie the moss and the substrate???? Xxx
No not at all never had any problems , most mites and paracites come from commercial outlets .
Are any of these tarantulas dangerous? Scares me just watching the clips. Which one is the most venomous?
You dont want to get bitten but not deadly to humans
Release The Kraken!!!!!
Next in the Evolution stage... wings
I like the water dishes high. Probably in the wild drink from leaves, tree knots and Bromeliads.
Yes I also find it helps with humidity.
Is the substrate straight from the woods?
Yes mate it is.
Cand not she get uped to the top of thosed wood thingees and then squeezed her self out? All so, just I was wondering ifed ever do you do harvesting of any of yours spiders venom for laboratory’s and studys?
No there is no need in this country for extracting venom 👍
How often should they get fed and how much?
All depends on size , temps and general health 👍
Dark earth Tiger, is that a old world?
Yes it is 👍
When I was 10 a guy in my neighborhood had tarantula in his hand and put it in my hand. I was unaware they have cat claws. I must have said take it off 36 times in 5 seconds. 😅 ever since then they've creeper me out. Not the little ones. The bigger ones like this. If you have an earth quake please record the mayhem. Ty for the video
What was dumb about it? The phobia, thanks for the video, or the earth quake comment? The only thing dumb about silence is not standing up for what's right. So sorry you didn't like my comment, but rest assured I will not lose sleep over your not liking it.
Who are you replying to ??????
@@daveslittlebeasties they erased their comment. Ikr it looks like I'm mental 🤣 it was sc's comment.
Where are those enclosures from ?
Its a Komodo mate.
Gramostola puhra
?
Do you house any of the Widow species?
Nom not at present 👍
Hello! Great video. I own a chilobrachys huahini big female. And im kinda scared of rehousing her.. I mean she never gave me a threat pose or anything but she is just so insanely fast when she wants to... I love her but i only observe her from respectful distance.. :D
Be prepared and show them that respect and take your time and all will be fine.
Astar no offense but maybe keep new world species until you’re respectably comfortable around old worlds. I own a vin wirthi or paganus that’s very defensive along with my T stirmi and I have 30 tarantulas yet I’m not scared around them just cautious and very cognizant of them when I have to work with them
