    This is a short tutorial of housing my P. irminia sling, a process that can be used for many different slings, showing what I do and works for me allowing my slings to grow steadily and comfortably.

    Wow that went in easy enough ❤ my c versicolor jumped up out of the sling pot, and 1 huahini done a crazy back flip right up in the air onto the living room floor🕷🕷🕷😂

    It’s hard to find any of your videos I haven’t watched already lol- I get my snacks an relax an just watch your videos over an over , I’m always learning something ( even though I don’t have any ) They are so cool to watch though!     Am learning a lot from different spider
    Channels, you,petco and others,
    Have watched some who were kind
    Of careless with there animals.
    But you guys have stunning pets,specimens
    Just lovely some have had senior spiders

    I got a confirmed female sling today, the males are a sort of grey colour, and mine is black and orange stripes

Great source of information, and seeing you rehousing your T's allows me to get second-hand experience and be calm when rehousing my own T! (New keeper here :D).     Ok im dying to know where u got those containers i know they are like a 32oz deli atleast it looks like that but theres a big diff in the quality of the lid and top of container

    I just got one of these 2 days ago Dave! Such a beauty! Mine is eating baby crickets, it was very thin when I purchased it. We cant have roaches here in FL sadly.

      Chrickets will be fine, they spend a fair bit of time burrowing when young only going truly arboreal when there a little older, fantastic spiders to keep, nice and easy. 👍

    Fantastic Video. I want in the Next Time to buy an Versicolor and an Irminia. What do I need to pay attention for both like Ventilation and resistence for Temperature?
    Both will be sling

    I’m getting my first 3/4 -1 inch Darth Maul , my first sling through the post, i can follow this you would think, he doesn’t need to be in a dram vial right and i think i would need cross ventilation right

      I put mine in 190g pots or old fruit flies pots are also very good just dont let them get wet , keep them on the dry side 👍

    Great video Dave,getting my 1st p.irminia sling next Tuesday,(can’t wait) I’m a beginner,I have 7 fantastic beginner Tarantulas and thought the p.irminia would be a great T preparing me for the next step into my journey and the hobby…what do you think? I’ve done a lot of research on the p.irminia but,any advice would be amazing x💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Love the video, but I wanted to ask, how often should I put water in the slings enclosure. Specially since mine has no water bowl.

      Depending on what your housing your slings in , you can just mist the enclosure 1-2 a week very lightly or use a very small water bowl , I tend to just rely on the food items to give them there moisture .

    Why dont you use water dishes in the sling enclosures?

      becouse they can drown in them , once they get some size I do , but being fed so regular its not an issue 👍

    Do the sling at that stage require food? If so what kind of food pin heads or fruitflies

    Well that's a very expensive un boxing video. Last time I saw the price on them it was 111 pounds for 1. Hope you had a good deal on them.

      They dont use air like us so there is plenty to keep them happy 👍

    I have a sling this size and mine doesn't eat. It's belly is getting smaller and smaller... I tried to feed it roaches, flies, mealworms...

      Rehouse it , in not to big an enclosure try and make it feel secure always have water available , leave for a week and then try feeding small items , keep nice and warm 👍

      Some just like more airflow but to be honest they all require good clean air 👍
