Running higher rpm with stock rod will snap it. Needs to be billet. The ignition coil magnet on the flywheel are known to fly off now above 4000rpm. So billet flywheel is now advised.
lol screw a torque converter.my predator 212cc will do 60..its all how you set the engine and gearing up.either wheelies or top end.nice build here.remove the governor,install some upgraded valve springs,aluminum flywheel and i guarantee you will be doing 70 mph and up

My built Predator 212cc will hit 32mph on an 80T 44mph on a 60T and 76mph on a 40T its all how you build your engine and how you gear it. The 80T will spin tires at 25mph just by flooring it while the 40T beats the clutch to get there.

They make 1'clutches .. Noram makes good ones for a decent price. Or bully if ur serious. 3dmotorsports is even working on a 1 " clucth for karts and bikes or whatever you wanna put a motor on.
Had the same looking Go-Kart but with a 5hp Brigg&Stratton ,Cut the spring in half and went 42 mph.Fun times back then.

34 mph is plenty, what matters is how fast it gets there and can it climb hills. The 420cc is more about torque.
What app are you using for the display and get a torque converter.
