She mentions at the very beginning that 'Rhiannon' is an old welsh witch. If I remember correctly, she read a book about welsh lore back in the day which gave her the idea for this song. Fleetwood Mac has so many hits, another good one is 'Go your own way'.

I’ve been a Stevie fan since 16 yrs old! Discovered them on Midnight Special ( is this that performance you were uploading)? She’s a mystical lovely lady. Also,always graceful, unlike rock chicks today Stevie kept her look bohemian graceful sensuous but still never sexy ….overly. Never exposing anything,…great lyrical style that tops no other!
Still rocking in her 70s! She used to do ballet before rock .

Love the Mac. Great commentary. The whole band are legend. You didn't have a lot of other of women rockers back in 1975 so Stevie Nick's and Christine McVie held their own as rock stars among any of the men of the Era. I was 11 when that song was charting. The other two lead singer song writers were charting with good music too. I got through school listening to their music. Much love.

Stevie Nicks is undoubtly one of the most influential female singer/songwriters of the last 40 or so years. Her vibrato is a bit strange and unconventional but it works for her. She definitely has a patented and unmistakable style.

Their guitarist is really talented, he has amazing solos that fascinate me. This song is done faster than the studio version which most Midnight Special performances are. Stevie Nicks (lead singer) has a sharp and clear voice. This is one of their more popular songs too. I like their music. There was a lot of drama between the band members too that was in the tabloids. I saw you liked the song, which is always nice. Take care and stay safe.

Fleetwood Mac is great! Did you know that Stevie (Stephanie) Nicks and the guitar player Lindsey Buckingham lived together for many years? And Christine McVie the piano player/singer and Jon McVie the bass guitarists were married? Both couples broke up though. Try Landslide. It's beautiful. Also, try some of Chritines hits with the band such as Everything, Over My Head, Songbird

This is my favorite live version song alongside Queen's Montreal 1981 "Someone to Love" (which will blow you away too). Have you checked out that awesome guitarist, Lindsey Buckingham's song, "Go Your Own Way" which is ABOUT Stevie? They've had quite the tumultuous relationship over the years.. the whole band, total drama (I'm waiting for the movie lol). Please keep going with them - you are in for an adventure!

Is this lady put together or what? I mean every single video, no slumming with her! LOL. She is absolutely stunning, hair, skin, eyes, clothes, bling etc etc. She is like the chocolate Mona Lisa! I'm glad I am well familiar with pretty much every song she reacts to so I can see what she is wearing and how her hair and make up are for each video (not to mention it is kind of addictive to re-experience these songs through others< Cece being one of the best in my opinion). But honestly, she is a superior analyst of the music as well. So it's a winning formula. One of the few channels where I let the ads run, would love to see her grow and be appreciated by a wider audience!!
